I am happy to provide a glowing review for The Nail Care Salon…read more I followed Vanessa from another salon; it's difficult to find a nail tech who is consistently great. I work a lot with my hands and Vanessa is "my person" to keep my hands and feet together. I've experienced the other techs, Lily and Colin, in Vanessa's absence. They both did good work for me. I am also proud to watch Tran grow in her administrative role; while she hasn't done my nails, I've watched her work which is both detailed and creative. I like The Nail Care Salon. I am happy that the business is growing.

(I included before photos for reference) I had long, natural, almond shaped nails with UV gel french tips. One nail (left pointer) broke pretty short. Overall, I wanted a tip put on the one that broke, the rest to get trimmed down a little (still almond shape) and change them to clear coat. --I was VERY clear multiple times that this is what I wanted. Here are the list of problems that dont even include the ones that came from the language barrier: -they argued with me that THEY thought I had 'fill' not UV gel -they had me soak my nails/fingers in a plastic bag of what I believe to be acetone (it didnt eat through the bag though) -tech started to dremel off gel and kept walking away without completing a hand at a time -never actually removed all the gel -I told her again the length I wanted, and she cut it down to the length of the BROKEN nail --I immediately said no after the first nail and she GIGGLED *hindsight 20/20, I should have left at this point -she cut the others down to the same length -told me she couldnt do almond because they were so short and told me I could do round --I said yes because what else could I do at this point -she did NOT file them smooth --didnt even touch the nail that I had broken, I was too stunned to notice --at this point I just wanted out -she put the clear coats on and was overly aggressive with manipulating my fingers/hands *at this point I noticed that the tools werent sanitized and they were trading amongst the techs -she pulled one hand out of the light, dumped cuticle oil all over my hand (literally dripping) and walked away to the point that the woman next to me was holding in a laugh Overall, it ended up costing $45 to get the worst nails that are still jagged (im fixing it myself) and might give me an infection??? **if youve read this far youd be interested to know that the woman getting her nails done at the same time was literally crying in pain getting tips because there was a BAD chemical reaction and was burning her. She wanted white nails and the chemical reaction literally turned the pigment yellow. And the tech was saying its normal -dismissing her obvious pain.

Finally! So if you…read morerecall in my last nail review, I got gel-x nails but wasn't happy. After doing some more research, I found this place. I made an appt, showed up, and away we went. Upon walking in, I couldn't help but notice the aesthetic. The salon is immaculate, the floors were shiny and clean, and it totally gives off the high-end vibe. After signing in, they confirmed what services I was getting and brought me back. The person doing my nails was Paige and she couldn't have been more pleasant. When we got started, she confirmed the design and then suggested I get the gel builder vs gel-x and gave her reasons why. During the process she was extremely attentive, making sure I was satisfied with each step before moving on. Everything was fine and then it came time for the design. She nailed it on the first time! There were no struggles, hesitations, or sighs. She did everything with ease and was able to mimic the design the best out of all the other salons I've been to. Once she was finished, Olivia brought me over and did my pedicure. She was amazing and also super friendly. The massage chair was heaven and easily one of the best I've had whilst getting a pedicure. Overall, I was beyond pleased for my first time at the salon. While the prices are a tad higher than what I'm accustomed to paying, it does ring true you get what you pay for. The level of care and attentiveness I received was so refreshing and really made me feel valued. I for sure will be back.

I was seated at a service station and then I was moved to another part of the salon. I sat and a gold small clip board was sat next to me on the table top. Finally, a nail tech by the name of Sam asked was I getting dip polish and I said not that I had an appointment with Chloe at 1pm for an acrylic nail set. A young lady at the front asked me was I "Stephanie" in which I stated my name and told them I was there for Chloe. Another young lady said I told her my name was Stephanie. Not sure why she would say that when I'm aware of my name. A short time Chole appeared and we got started on the service. I showed her the shape I wanted my nails and she nailed it. She was professional, efficient, and fast. This review is no reflection of her services but not sure if I will be back given the miscommunication in the beginning and sort of being blamed for the mishap. Was $50 for this service and it was pretty pricey for the basic type of style.

I was in a hurry to get my nails…read moredone quickly before an event and just looked up the closest place to my office and didn't have time to read reviews. Big mistake. Each nail is super thick and she kept piling on the gel polish and a clear top coat. The nails are inconsistently shaped, some are even lumpy and as you can see from the photos the sides are not smooth or fully painted. The design I chose was too difficult for her so I simplified it for her and it looked just OK. Linda got gel polish on my finger and proceeded to use a nail file to file it off, hurting me and damaging my skin. I mentioned it to her and she said "I have to use the file to get the gel polish off your finger," and did it again! Ouch! I went immediately to dinner at my boss's home, and tried hide my hands as much as possible, it was so embarrassing. I made an appointment with my regular nail salon for this weekend to have this taken off and start from scratch. I was also surprised that she started my appointment and then mid-manicure, went over and worked on another woman. She did this twice while I sat there waiting for her. I won't be back.

I came in and she fixed the two nails plus put 2-3 more unnecessary layers of the dip on top of the existing nails making them look too thick and gaudy.
