My experience with this nail shop was absolutely horrible 1st off I called to confirm my appointment the day before and they notified me that the nail Tech was out of town in which she failed to let me know or cancel my appointment so appointment so me being in a rush because I had an appointment gaugement the next day I reluctantly went anyway I asked for a cough and shaped nail he gave me a hideous fan shape and the entire time I was in there the owner was yelling and screaming in Vietnamese in Vietnamese and made everybody in the shop uncomfortable comfortable and after I reviewed them the girl Text me going off saying racist terms talking about my body and et cetera this place is very unprofessional and needs to be shut down ASAP read more

I never post reviews really and I liked this place until today. I waited for 30 minutes just to finally sit down. A lady started doing my nails and halfway threw she said sorry she had to leave and left. I thought umm.. okay? Then 10 minutes later a man starts doing my nails. He was nice and all but wasn't paying attention to me. He took an hour to shape my nails and filed them so much I said stop and he didn't hear me and by then there's blood everywhere. It's an ok salon. Went in today and received a dip manicure. To cut off the cuticle, the technician used the electronic scraper and it cut up my skin around my nails pretty bad. Bad enough to cause them pain when I wash my hands. read more

This was the second time I left this place before even having them touch my nails. The first time, there was someone there who insulted the way my friend was dressed in the first minute of walking in, and this time I drove 30 minutes to get there at 4:30, an hour and a half before they are set to close online and they said they were closed. They also said that they knew the time listed online was wrong... which I can't understand why they wouldn't take the effort to change if that really was the case. read more

Went here before work one afternoon and got just a simple manicure ,not even fake nails, just got my nails painted with gel in one solid color nothing fancy. With the tip I paid $30, which in normal circumstances is a great price because salon nails usually last weeks and only start to look bad when your nails are too grown out for them, but not this time. The paint on my thumbnail was already chipped within an hour after leaving the salon. I know because I went straight to the park to meet a friend and already noticed it was messed up after just driving from the salon. It was a small chip on the very side of my thumb though so even though I was upset about it, it wasn't bad enough to immediately go back. By the time I left work the next morning, the middle finger on my other hand was also chipped but even worse and not something that I could just ignore. If I wanted very simple painted nails that chip within less than a day I could have just bought a bottle of Sally Hanson from Walgreens and done it myself for 1/10th of the price. So I go back in the next morning when they open and the woman is rude to me because the technician that originally did my nails happened to be off work and she didn't want to fix her coworkers mistake? and she acted like it was my fault that the paint chipped...I wasn't doing anything unusual with my hands that should ruin salon nails within less than 16 hours. It really just looked like cheap paint and sloppy work. read more

Any woman in St Louis knows that a good pedicure in the summer is a must. But finding the right place to do that is tricky. Pro Nails is located on a shopping plaza near Kohl's on St. Charles Rock Road. You cannot see it from the Rock Road, but once you are in the shopping plaza, you can't miss the heavily decorated door. On my first visit, I observed that many customers seemed to be return customers. They easily greeted the staff and made themselves feel right at home. That's a plus. The staff greeted everyone warmly and with enthusiasm. The establishment is CLEAN! And for me, that's critical. Now I, for one, LOVE listening to others speak their mother tongue. If they are talking about my flat feet, I could care less. And for those of you who cannot stand to hear a language other than English spoken while being taken care of, this may be the salon for you. I heard only one or two phrases spoken in another language. The pedicure itself was exceptionally done. Trien, the young man who tended to my feet, was firm and careful. As a comparison, I visited a highly rated Yelp approved nail salon, and the technician barely paid any attention to my feet. He gave a wonderful massage and paid close attention to everything. And to top it all off, I received a FREE Bud Light! The cost of simply a pedicure was $22. I used a gift certificate, but I will be back. In sum, I will be back and happily so. read more

It's a decent place, looks kind of run downed. It's next to Hometown buffet. The young lady whose near the door was very unprofessional. She barely makes eye contact with potential clients and she sits there playing and talking on her phone. The male technician I had was friendly but he's English wasn't that great. I felt like he was rushing most of the time. My gel manicure came out ok-nothing to rave about. I guess for the price I can't be mad. You get what you pay for. read more

I came in looking for a fill & a pedicure. I called beforehand to see if they could take me in & they said yes. Took them 2 hours to do a pedicure. I was patient as I was a walk-in & they were busy but I ended up leaving & making an appointment for the fill for the next day. Came into my appointment, the woman in charge didn't look at me when I walked in (which she does this to every customer each time I've been there) & I had to walk up to her to tell her I was there for my appointment. She barely said anything so I sat down & she called the guy over that did my pedicure the day before & asked why I was here. Long story short she flat out asked him who was going to do my nails as they didn't have anyone available. They aren't organized & they cannot communicate clearly to schedule. Absolute horrible service, we walked in at 6:17 and before we could even close the door they immediately turned us down, They said they were short staffed and we came in too late. Granted, I absolutely get that, had they been a bit more accommodating and said " hey guys unfortunately there's only two of and so I wouldn't have a chance to get to you but I can book you for tommorow if you're willing" but to pretty much be denied service within the first steps of opening the shop made me quite upset but glad that I did not give them business. read more

Stopped in for a pedicure because I was randomly in the area. I did not have an appointment, but walked in. I was greeted right away, asked to sign in and pick my color. I was seated shortly thereafter to soak my feet. There were a few nail techs working on manicures and a man talking to some customers. After I had my pedicure started, the nail techs, a few customers, and the man that worked there started taking shots of tequila. I though that this was very unprofessional especially when one of the nail techs screamed at the top of her lungs because the shot was "strong". Then the homophobic talk started and I could not wait to get out of there. The person doing my nails did not seem to pay much attention to me. She did only put 1 coat of the color nail polish on my nails, which I thought was strange. She put white on my nails first to maybe make the color pop, but still, 1 coat of color? It's been less than 24 hours and my nails have already chipped. Then the nail techs and a few customers took another shot of tequila. I mean,what is going on here? I will never go to this nail salon again. Keep it professional guys and maybe save the tequila shots for after work and not in front of customers. read more

There is nothing AMAZING about this place but it's an ok nail place that is in an easy to miss spot. It's next to two closed businesses right next to Old Country Buffet down from Bread Co or Kohls. The staff are all friendly for the most part and they do a solid job. I went two weeks ago with a friend and got gel nails. The woman was on her phone more than once during the process - granted I wasn't talking to her much but she barely spoke English and I couldn't understand her. I kinda felt awkward while she talked and did my nails. It was not very professional to be on the phone or stopping working so you could try to answer calls or try to make calls or figure out what's going on with your phone ya know? whatevs. The nail job was ok, nothing special about it and I felt in a few places it was a little sloppy - like the polish was over the nail and onto the sides of my finger so it was peeling up a little bit. I'm thinking - so I just paid you money to do my nails only slightly better than I can? I mean overall the job wasn't HORRIBLE but just not GREAT like I expect if I'm shelling out my hard earned cash for nails. I would rather spend a little more and go to Zen Nails off of Clarkson down by the Chesterfield mall which does a really cool powder gel polish that was awesome! The inside of this place is ok. I wasn't overly impressed. I mean most nail salons are kind of cheapish looking on the inside and this is no exception. read more

Horrible nail techs and owner in this facility......the guy that works there quits when he wants and comes back when he wants. The owner always had an attitude. The English is terrible. one tech speaks no English at all. I had an appointment that I arrived early for but was not informed that the guy quit until I waited almost 20 mins until she felt like stop point what she was doing to tell me because the pedicurist speaks no English......(the owner Toni said he quit but I think she lied). I suggest taking your money elsewhere.......this place is not professional and has horrible service. read more

While in Mexico, i cracked my toenail halfway across the toe I thought it would be Impossible to fix, but the nail tech did an INCREDIBLE job. You cant even tell I had a crack in the first place...I also managed to rip my entire toenail off in Mexico, the tech also repaired that, again making it invisible to the eye! Amazing!! Friendly!! This place is decent. They do a fairly decent job on pedis I wish they did the razor on calluses though. They do have a wide selection of gel polish colors / matching for pedi so that is a plus! It's not the best nail salon ever but it's decent. read more

By far this is the best nail salon. Billy did an awesome job on my nails. I went in for a fill in from another salon, i wasn't satisfied with the previous salon, Billy got me together. The wait wasn't long (i went in the evening) at all. He took his time, no rushing Or anything. I will definitely recommend Pro-Nails on St. Charles Rk Rd. I went to Pro Nails in Bridgeton for a little over 2 years. The last and final time I went, I made an appointment with Billy or Tina and when I arrived, Tina started my fill. It was getting pretty packed and once she finished putting the acrylic on my nails, she passed me off to some GUY WHO HAD VERY SHAKEY HANDS JUST TO DO A NEW CUSTOMER THAT JUST WALKED IN OFF THE STREET, NO APPOINTMENT! It took this guy 45 minutes to file and polish my nails, which was way too long. The was it for me. . . if that is how they treat their long-time customers good bye! If you had an appointment on Saturday with Tina, she was always late. There was always some sort of drama going on at that salon--who needs to watch soaps when you can go see it live in person! They USED to be great, but Billy needs to RUN the shop and not let TINA run off good customers. read more

this is the most disgusting place I have ever been to. a week after I did the gel nail Polish , its peeled off , when I came they began to tell me that I was doing nails 2 weeks ago and it's normal that the paint just peeled off the nail. when she decided to re-do that, she made it so crooked that I have all the nails in the bumps, plus it smelled alcohol from her, and she was watching movies on her phone!!!!!!!!! . Loved this place and will be returning. The workers were very friendly and funny. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. The whole atmosphere was family-like. I had a wait of about 15 minutes but it was worth the service. The workers stuck to English whole working except to discuss business. Technician cut away too much cuticle then scraped alongside two of my toenails so deep that I got infections in two of my toes! I've had plenty of pedicures before with no infections and no pain! I told her that she was hurting me and she kept doing it. I should have just walked out at that point. I even found two scabs on my toes from where she CUT me. I would not ever go back and I hope you don't go, either. I would have given it NO STARS but that is not an option, so I had to give it one star. read more

Don't go here, service is terrible. They have no idea what customer service is. I came in at 745 one night for a quick pedi. 30 mins max, ok, so what you're closing, is my money not good enough? Apparently so, Tina looked me up and down and said we don't have time for you. This is after I signed in, sat down, and then decided to go choose a polish. More than anything, I felt a little hurt, I've been coming to this salon since I moved to St. Ann in November, had a loyalty card and everything. Now, I will be doing my own pedicures, I refuse to give these immigrants my hard earned money when they do not think I'm good enough to service. If I were a different color, my face would have been red. I believe in customer service, my parents own a bar and if someone comes in 10 mins to closing and wants a beer, that's money made and I'm selling it. I will not be returning, and if anyone wants my loyalty card, I'll be happy to give it to you. If there are any American-owned salons in St. Louis I want to know about it. I'm tired of giving my money to people who don't deserve it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more
