I've been coming here for about two years and have always had a good experience. The ladies are always nice and welcoming, and they do a great job paying attention to detail. My nails consistently come out the way I want them, and I appreciate that they take their time with each appointment. The pricing is also very reasonable compared to other places I've been to. Definitely my go-to nail salon. read more

I normally wouldn't write a review, but what happened today is worth mentioning. I went in for a fill and pedicure and had made an appointment with Hannah. She began filing my nails and then moved me to chair #2 so I could have my pedicure done at the same time. Because she was seated on my left side, it was difficult and uncomfortable for me to turn my right arm toward her. (If you know, you know. Lol.) Without ever asking if I was comfortable--which I wasn't--she repeatedly pulled and twisted my arm into position, at least four times, sternly telling me, "Relax!" I genuinely tried to accommodate her by turning my entire body toward her, but apparently that still wasn't enough. Meanwhile, sweet Nancy was doing my pedicure and was very kind. When Hannah finished my nails, she looked at me and said, "I'll never do your nails again. Never. I can't do your nails over here. Next time you come, sit over there. Never. Never again." Whoa... what? Wait. I was honestly stunned. It wasn't just what she said, but the harsh and unkind way she spoke to me. I felt like I was being scolded and treated as though I had done something wrong, when all I had done was struggle with an uncomfortable seating position while trying my best to accommodate her. While Nancy was still doing my toes, I calmly said, "Hannah, I love my nails, but sitting over here was really uncomfortable for me. It was hard for me to turn my arm that way." She then stormed off. As if the experience couldn't get any stranger, just minutes later the attendant giving a pedicure to the customer next to me unscrewed something to drain the water, and suddenly water started spraying everywhere like a geyser! It continued spraying until I, the customer, and the woman next to her were drenched. The attendant eventually got it under control, but by that point, all I could think was... so much for my mental health day. I came in hoping to relax and enjoy a little self-care. Instead, I left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and completely unwelcome. No customer should be spoken to the way I was, especially when I had done nothing more than struggle with an uncomfortable seating position while trying my best to accommodate the nail technician. My nails looked beautiful. Unfortunately, the way I was treated did not. read more

Service from Cindy was great I asked her to clean up my pedi a bit more and she did it no problem. The chairs are not comfy so just be aware. The only thing I was confused about was they charged me a total of $15 for gel.. $5 to take off the previous gel and $10 to put new gel on. (But I've never been charged to remove and put on gel again lol but no problem) all in all I'd probably recommend. read more

Nope not going there again...took the kids and myself there with an appointment made! They wanted to start mine first and make the kids wait alittle... That turned into a 45 min wait!!!! with an appointment. Just why...what's the use of making an appointment? and let's say it did get busy suddenly right before we come in..why not let us know to come later? why not be nice or sorry about it. It was the worst...if you go there, don't take your kids and avoid weekends...anddd don't bother making any appointments. read more

I got recommended this place by a family member and honestly I've never been more happy. My nails came out absolutely perfect. Exclamation, I've been going to different nail salons for over 15 years now and this is by far I've been the best nail salon that I've been to they take time to get your nails right and do everything with precision and make sure that it's perfect. Also, the prices are absolutely amazing. I'm not from here, but the prices here are almost half of what I typically pay and I was so surprised and happy with that! My nail tech was Hannah and she was honestly super sweet and definitely recommend her read more

I was happy they were able to get me in. The ladies were nice but I was not happy about the service. I'm 6 hours away from home and unfortunately my middle finger nail broke this morning. The length, the color, and just the French style are all so off. Even though I didn't get my nails originally done by this salon, I have gone to other nail salons that do their best to try to get it as close as possible to my other nails and this lady just rushed me out. I was also charged $10 for the nail lol read more

I came in as a walk in and they told me they had time for me but then had me sit for an hour. I don't mind the wait but after I sat down and asked for dip powder over my natural nails they tried to give me clear powder I didn't want. They rushed my nails which after the fact were a little lumpy. I have never gotten this done before and hadn't done normal acrylics in a few years, I was informed by friends later that this was not how my nails should look. I loved the color but they started lifting about a week after the service I was trying to hold on because I was unable to go to a nail salon due to my work hours but today about 11 days after my service my nails started cracking and breaking off. I don't do anything that was warrant this level of wear and when I did acrylics before I would often get 3-4 weeks of wear before needing a fill and never had one crack like this read more

OMG... I have NEVER had a fungus in my 27 years of wearing acrylic nails. .. I am on my THIRD at this place. The owner is SO MOODY. I was 6 minutes late once and she berated me throughout the whole appt. I voiced a bit of discomfort in her hasty service and she said, "you were late, I lose my next customer". THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. Today, she was 17 min late for MY appt and proceeded to treat me like a subordinate. She has complained several times about how slow business is. I know now why. I refuse to pay someone who wants to berate me and charge me for the nail she needs to remove because of FUNGUS. Dirty shop and bad attitudes mean an empty shop. And mind you, you can see the fungus just growing out on the middle finger and now, the ring finger. BEWARE read more

Beyond pissed. Been coming here since October and tip very well so you would think I would be taken care of but I will no longer be coming back. Got there at 9 right when they open and I am now leaving the nail place... almost 2.5 hours later..... I called ahead of time at 8:50 and the nail tech said they open at 9.. I arrived at 8:55 and a lady was already getting her nails done. I waited until 9 which is fine and got seated at 9:05 and they started my feet. Two customers came in 15 mins later and got a mani pedi and left BEFORE me. It was until 10 they started doing my hands... I asked why the other nail tech didn't do my hands since she started it on the other customer that came after me.... "She doesn't do French".... THREE other workers came before the customer so why didn't they give me another nail tech who was available. So ridiculous. So beyond pissed. Not coming back read more

My niece gave me a $50 gift certificate to this place and I didn't have an opportunity to use it because of a death in the family and my mom was in the hospital. So it expired recently. And they still would not honor it. So they were given $50 for nothing and were rude and disrespectful. So if you want to throw your money into the toilet, this is the place. They're happy to take your money and play dumb when it's convenient. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! read more

They were incredibly rough during the pedicure, it definitely hurt, and my toe started to bleed. I do not recommend this place.

not happy at all with their services! i came here to get my gel extensions removed and get a regular mani-pedi but all i got was a horrible service for my fingernails. The removal was so painful, the manicurist (who made me feel like I was forcing her to work) literally peeled off the extensions causing the surface of my original nails to get ruined and become very dry. I was telling her it hurt but got ignored and she continued to ruin my fingernails. she covered up my nails with polish and it looked so bad and bumpy. the manager or owner eventually approached me however she did not do anything to fix it. She just said that she could not see any mistake on my nails even though the bad work was very obvious. I mentioned to her that my nails needs to get dipped in acetone because its part of the procedure but that manager said no and then got blamed for having bad nails. after one day, the polish already peeled off so I removed it with acetone and the polish doesn't completely come off because of the remaining glue from the extensions. NEVER COMING BACK HERE. WASTED MY MONEY ON THEIR SERVICE. read more

I drive down 30+ miles from LA just for their pedicure and I've been coming here for this specific service since 2011. Being stuck in LA, I've tried so many other places because of time and distance, but *NOTHING* compares to LG Nails and I always end up coming back down. Hannah and her daughters are even caught up on our family's lives. They're like distant cousins now, even Hannah's been asking me when I'm going to end up with a nice Vietnamese boy. Her husband is always hanging out, cleaning and is helpful. Some of the workers have been there since I've started and it's really nice. Please never close! read more

Let me say, I have been coming here for awhile now! However today was my last day going to this Spa. There was a miscommunication in what I wanted and even though there was I was willing to pay for the difference I owed. I always value great service and I always tip more than enough. However when the ladies that were working on me told me they were going to give me a discount I was so pleasantly surprised and of course at that point I wanted to tip them higher. They really didn't need to give me the discount. Let's just say the women that worked on me for my mani-pedi treated me really well and were very kind and I do NOT hold them accountable for any issue or problem. On the other Hand the OWNER is TERRIBLE!!! She had the audacity to approach me after I had paid nearly $60.00 yelling in my face with her cheap copper hair and scrunched up face. Saying how dare I get a discount when her ladies worked so hard on me. I told her I didn't need her damn discount and if it was such a big deal than charge me for the difference! She made one of the poor ladies ring me up and guess what the difference was $5.00!!! When I left the ladies that worked on me looked ashamed that she was treating me so terrible. I paid the girls an extra tip and apologized for any problem that was caused for the miscommunication. I hope that Owner doesn't get SHHHH of what they got. All I am going to say more is the OWNER needs a reality check! You don't just get in peoples faces and yell at them for something they were willing to pay for and tip well for. Afterall it was just a miscommunication. To the OWNER: if you don't like dealing with people maybe you shouldn't be in Customer Service or in any career that deals with the public. Enjoy the $$ you get for now before it stops coming in due to your ungrateful attitude. read more

Today I got my nails done at LG and the lady's there didn't know I can understand Vietnamese. The ladys were talking about me the whole time in Vietnamese calling me picky. At the end of the service I used Apple Pay and one of the lady suggest that the other lady can go in a change the price charging more to my card one I payed. OMG you have to visit this nail salon if you're in Cypress or any of the surrounding areas. I've been getting acrylic nails for 25 yrs and needless to say my nail beds are thin as paper. Megan (the nail queen) suggested GelX .... a freaking game changer. Megan is off the chain so good so fast. It takes me 30 minutes to get my nails done, brand new Gel X. And take a look at these probably the prettiest nails I've gotten it in the past 25 years. I highly recommend you come to LG Nails totally ask for Megan. You will not be disappointed. read more

Friendly staff, the place was clean, and I loved that it was quick but quality work. I was in and out in less than an hour. I went in today and an older lady did my manicure. It was the worst experience. While she was filing my nails, she kept burning my skin. When she did my manicure I thought she was going to fix the first layer because she had barely put any polish on, it had little circle dots and she was not putting it on evenly. She then added the next layer and just by the looks of it, I knew it was not going to turn out correctly. it was VERY MESSY and UNEVEN (as you can tell by the picture!) Finally, I had accidentally touched my wet polished thumb on my jeans and it smeared a little, and instead of doing it over, she pressed on it with gloves and just painted over it. It was the worst experience. read more

I have been going to LG for many years. One reason I keep returning is their care for my disabled daughter. I recommend them, especially for pedicures. read more

I was not happy with my service. I could not communicate with a lack of English speaking manicurists. I walked out with my hands brittle DRY! Lotion was put on my arms but not hands because they were wet with polish, which should have been done beforehand. Also, I had no dryer or fan. I asked for one and the lady argued they do not do that. I walked out upset and did not tip them. I even had to ask to remove some of the sloppy polish on the edge of my nails. read more

Went in for the $35 pedicure package and it was one of the worst pedicures. The very young girl, did not know to scrub the bottom of my feet to exfoliate dead skin. She did not file my toe nails to make them all even, the 10 minute massage had no massage to it. Just slapping her hands up and down. Then when I got outside into the sun I could see how poorly the paint job was. Never again. I actually question if she was even licensed. You could tell she hated her job. Now I remember why I stopped coming here. read more
