Turkish coffee
Kareem T.

If you compare that place with other Turkish places, then it could easily take 2 stars or 3 maximum! But the distance between them and the next good Turkish is quite far, so that gives them an advantage! They aren't mediocre at all. They are just not great! I'll definitely go there again if I can't go anywhere else, and I'll still do a few items like the Adana! The dining space is nice and clean. The service is ok . The food, as I said, is ok but not impressive, nothing that makes you crave going there again! Stick with the grilled items and it won't fail you! Adana is great here Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... Pray for me ;)

Shepherd's Salad
Dante M.

Awesome Mediterranean restaurant in Centreville! The service was excellent and it was such a cute restaurant on the inside. We stared with the shepherds salad, cauliflower, and baba ghanooj, all of which were amazing. Then my wife had the lamb shish and I had the hunker begendi (not sure how it's spelt), but I've never seen this on a menu before and I was FANTASTIC!

Dessert and wow.

Nice place. Food great. Service great. Nice outside seating. A little problem being near a bar people were going outside to smoke and kept blowing into us. But not the restaurants fault. Although we did not try to much everything we had was very good.

This restaurant is permanently closed. It's a sad day for the neighborhood! I will miss their succulent lamb chops.

Lezzet cigars appetizer

Got this to go from Uber eats so I'm very surprised that they got the order correct, but thankful they did. This Mediterranean restaurant has decent food. Their moussaka is a very large portion and comes with a side salad. It's very flavorful and I would order it again. However I wish they had an option for salad dressing with their side salad; The side salad wasn't too great without it. I also got the lezzett cigars appetizer which is fried phyllo dough rolled and stuffed with feta cheese. These were decent as well and I enjoyed them. I ordered rice pilaf as a side and unfortunately it had absolutely no flavor, I definitely need to try the bulgur pilaf instead next time. Overall the order was right, it was fresh and hot when it arrived and it was pretty good. I will come back but need to try some other items on the menu before deciding on if I'd regularly eat here.

Platter for 6
Constance L.

Ordered platters for takeout and the food was phenomenal. First, the portion sizes were huge! The rice was soft and fluffy, there were plenty of veggies, and all the meats were cooked really well. The steak and lamb especially were my favorites -- even though they were cooked well done, they were not too tough or chewy and had great flavor. You can order over the phone and also pay over the phone for pick up.

My cousin and I had a great dining experience here. From the food, to the presentation, to the service - everything from start to finish was done well. This restaurant is located in the same shopping Center as Spa World - surrounded by all the other good Korean restaurants and shops. The menu was pretty extensive, and it took a while for us to decide what to order. In the meantime, hot, complimentary bread with a yummy olive topping was served to us. We ended up ordering the Smoked Eggplant for the appetizer, and Chicken Shish and Lahmacun (flatbread) for our entrees. The first thing that caught my attention when the food came was all of the colors! The way everything was laid out with all the vegetables was so eye-catching. Fortunately, the appearance synced up with the actual taste of the good. Everything was delicious and my cousin and I have already vowed to come back!

3.5 stars SERVICE: 5/5 - so nice and attentive FOOD: ~Complimentary bread (5/5): So flavorful and fluffy on the inside ~Brussel Sprouts (3/5): wish it had a little more char and seasoning (not just salt and pepper) ~Adana (4/5): Packed with a ton of flavor. A liiiittle bit dry, but not too bad ~Rice Pilaf (2/5): Came with my adana. Was overcooked and soggy. ~Hunkar Begendi (3/5): Sauce with beef cubes in it was delicious. The eggplant puree was tasty, but SO cheesy. Like a little too much Overall, the food was decent and the service was great! Worth trying out

A plate with a bit of everything--flatbread, shakshuka, dolma, salad. (Not pictured: baba ganosh and halloumi cheese)

Really delicious Turkish/Mediterranean food at Lezzet! In my last GrubHub order, I got Red Lentil Soup (the side bread is very fluffy and tasty), the Spinach Pride Flatbread (too big to eat in one sitting, especially with soup), and Baklava. This was a carb-overload meal for me, even though there were plenty of proteins on the menu to pick from. I highly recommend the flatbread and soup, and I've had salads when ordering with friends previously. Unfortunately, the baklava was not to my taste--it was way too sweet and not crispy. But I'll know to avoid that dessert next time. Overall, I would definitely order from Lezzet again. Thank you!

Delicious! The food is legit Turkish! The place was clean and nicely appointed, the food portions were great, and the quality was top notch. The service was great and the prices are not bad.

Grilled Whole Mediterranean Sea Bass
Vince V.

This is a great restaurant! I had the whole Mediterranean Sea Bass which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The vegetables that were included were very tasty and I couldn't stop eating them. I was served some bread and Greek olives before the meal which was very tasty and gave me some ideas for an appetizer for my guests that visit. I was served quickly and it is a very clean, classy place! I will definitely return when I am back in the area.

Yum! The Yelp fam points us to the right direction, once again. Placed an order online for pick up, which was incredibly straight forward. Order was ready in no time. Employees were friendly and welcoming. Everything was neatly wrapped and labeled. We really enjoyed each dish from start to finish. All the flavors are there and quality ingredients are definitely used. Our taste buds were jumping for joy. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try some of their other dishes!

AL K.

Arrived for lunch and the dining area was empty. We were greeted and plenty of seats to choose from. We were given paper menu and everything on it sounded delightfully yummy. We settled for appetizers and select entrees. We were given free bread and grounded olives as spread which brought me back to EU at first bite. Everything was cooked to order. You can hear your food sizzle behind the tall counter which housed the kitchen. This place is a gem. Would go back and try their flat breads. More eggplant based appetizers please.

The inside is clean and the service is always friendly, however I wish they would be less stingy on portions with their scoops (I was getting like 1/8 of the scoop each time and had to keep asking for more which got frustrating). Other than that the service was pretty good. Mezeh is a Mediterranean bowl place set up like a chipotle where you can get various veggies, grains and sauces to put in your bowl. They also offer fresh juices and pita bread. Now onto my food: I always get a mostly greens bowl with mixed greens, a little white basmati rice, couscous, classic hummus, extra Turkish salad, chickpeas, pickled turnips, extra tzatziki dip, tzatziki sauce, and tahini sauce. The vegetables are always fresh, the grains are flavorful, especially the couscous, and the sauces are delicious! I'm so glad I found a great healthy option for dinner. They also have such a good variety of options to choose from which is nice as most bowl places are more limited. I definitely recommend Mezeh, for a quick, healthy, and cheap meal option!

A wonderful place for a special event with excellent food and service…read more We recently held our daughter's baby shower at Taste of Old Country in Manassas and could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The restaurant is very nice inside and also sells a variety of olive oils and other specialty items. We actually used some of their olive oil packages as prizes for the games during the shower, which worked out perfectly. Elias and Zachery were wonderful from before the event began while we were setting up, throughout the entire shower, and even afterward while we were cleaning up. They obviously knew how to handle an event like this and seemed to know exactly what needed to happen as our guests began arriving and the shower progressed. We had two long tables set up for our group, one seating 14 and the other 12 people. I thought the tables and place settings looked wonderful, and they allowed us to add our own table runners, pumpkin-themed centerpieces, and decorations along both sides of the room. When it was time to eat, the food was set out buffet-style along the bar near the back. The menu was Mediterranean based and included spanakopita, cheese pies (not pizzas), artisan sandwiches, meatballs, stuffed grape leaves, and other items. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there was certainly no shortage of food. We had enough for everyone at the shower, enough left for dinner for eight of us afterward, and still had leftovers for two families to take home. The staff did a great job throughout the event without making us feel rushed, and the entire experience was comfortable and relaxing. Considering the beautiful venue, excellent service, quality and amount of food, and how smoothly everything went, I thought the price was an excellent value. Overall, Taste of Old Country helped make our daughter's baby shower a wonderful event and one we will remember for a long time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place in the Manassas area for a shower, family gathering, or other special event. Definitely a five-star experience. Enjoy!

We didn't have anything that we wouldn't order again or didn't enjoy. The Margarita pizza was the highlight for us but the mini spanakopitas were a close second. Portions are a healthy size too. We loved it here and can't wait to come back.

I ordered the Adana Kebab which is the minced beef & lamb log that many kebab shops offer. And this restaurant's seemed inferior to many of my regular kebab shops that I go to. My wife is vegetarian and ordered a three-cheese pasta dish, I tried it and honestly liked it more than my kebab. I give the entree a solid 3 stars. However, we then ordered the dessert after. I got the Baklawa and she ordered the Chocolate Mousse. The Baklawa was the best that I can remember having. I have been to Turkey and had the Baklawa there and this is right up there in terms of quality & taste. It was warmed up and sitting in a puddle of sweetened honey, but the pastry was still perfectly flaky and didn't taste soggy at all. It was the perfect sweetness that made you want to keep eating more, without being overly sugary-tasting. Absolutely spectacular, 5 stars for sure.

When I first walked in, I was a little confused because they were blasting reggaeton with the color scheme is green, white and red yet the menu really matches all the Greek Mediterranean places around. The guy behind the counter just looked at me and I was the one that had to say hello. How are you? He said he was good and I asked if they were any lunch specials and he looked at me confused. I repeated my question and he indicated there are no lunch specials. So I ordered a Gyro bowl. For the toppings, he just began grabbing everything, but I had to indicate yes or no even after he had grabbed certain toppings, and it became a little awkward. When it came to the sauces, I made it very clear. I wanted only a little bit, but he continued to drown the ball to the point where it's basically a sauce soup. At checkout and asked for a tip and he was staring at me. Once I completed my order, he indicated I could go grab my utensils off in the corner. I just find it so distasteful that these places continue to ask for an additional tip yet they won't provide service. The bowl itself was OK, just barely hit the threshold of edible, but I could barely differentiate the ingredients in the soup. It was clear the Gyro meat was not freshly shaving and was chopped up earlier in the day and reheated, the browning was all around the meat in a way that proved it have been refreshed compared to freshly shaven gyro meat, and at that, but it still wasn't even hot. It is sincerely baffling that this place has a higher rating than the big Greek (Urbana, and now in weather) because their service, atmosphere, authenticity, and product all fall extremely short in comparison.
