Dr. Eyal Levit and his entire staff are professional, kind, competent and go above and beyond. I originally came to Dr. Levit for a skin condition that was misdiagnosed for years. Dr. Levit diagnosed the issue and prescribed the correct medication. After suffering for years with itchy, scaly skin, my skin feels and looks great now! It's been 5 years since Dr. Levit helped cure my skin and so far there has been no reoccurence. I assume that all good reviews left for this office made by doctor's friends. They let physician assistant to talk to patients making decision how to proceed with the treatment. Spoke with Yelena Vevitsis - PA, she is not a doctor, she has no clue how to conduct an appointment, no professional approach, absolute disgrace for the office. She has no interest to cure your problem. She forgets what you just sad a minute a ago or just not paying attention to your problem. She makes a diagnosis without any test like having X-ray in her eyes, in other words, she is just trying to get rid of you as soon as possible. I think that all people have been taking on the job in this office by family connections, not professionalism. Cannot say anything about other people working in this office! read more

Dr. Levit's office can hardly be called medical; rather, it is a commercial office in which medical practice in general is neglected. In addition to the fact that 1.5 years of acne treatment, acne was not cured , I also spent 5K for nothing,doctors also do not know how to prescribe the correct doses of medication and completely ignore the patient's side effects. Thus, when I had serious side effects (after which usually doctors stop prescribing the medicine), then in the office of Dr. Levit they continued to prescribe them to me, suggesting that it should be so, and after emergency side effects, Dr. Levit simply refused to pick up the phone (while I did not quarrel with the receptionists), and Dr. Timerman moved to another state and never got in touch with me again (although I tried to contact him through Dr. Levit). Bottom line: my acne got worse even than before accutaine, I spent money on unprofessional and negligent specialists and 7 months after stopping medication I have numerous chronic diseases like acid reflux, gastric, liver problem and multiple cysts in my thyroid, kidney and uterus (which were not there before taking the medication, since not long before the treatment I completed full examination by my therapist). I am a 73 year old male, healthy and in good shape, and developed Eczema for the first time. It covered a good part of my body. It was very uncomfortable and extremely itchy. I was able to get a quick appointment with Levit Dermatology and saw both Dr. Levit and Dr. Paragh during my first visit. They were very considerate and I carefully described my condition while they examined me. At the end treatments were recommended, pending results of my biopsies to confirm the Eczema (which they did). All the non-RX treatments I needed were able in their office which made it vary convenient. The Doctors and all of their staff are excellent and I continue to go for regular visits as well as treatments and my Eczema is under control and improving. This is a very neat, modern, and clean office. The front end is very nice and helpful. Sadly, the doctor I first saw and had confidence in is "At another office." I've seen a male PA since then that didn't seem to be as invested in my treatment as others. He was somewhat of a "What I cannot do," instead of a "This is what I can do," person. That doesn't mean he's not a good PA, just means he is not a good match for what I desire, and that is why I only merit 4 stars at this time. read more

I went to Dr Levit a couple of years ago for the same thing I went to him this time, about a week ago. I had a rash on back of my calf on only one leg and only on calf. He did the same thing this time as he did last time. He looked at it and said it was Schamberg purpura within a few seconds. The last time he gave me a prescription for a cream which did nothing, but since the rash didn't hurt or itch or anything, I just lived with it. I decided to try again. Same thing, he looked at it and said Schamberg purpura. This time, he gave me a prescription and also told me to get a over the counter tablet to take. I tried everywhere to get the tablets, but no one had it and most didn't have a clue what it was. Then the pharmacy called and said my insurance wouldn't approve the prescription. I called and told him i couldn't get either medicine. He sort of left me to get it on my own until I got a little angry that he did nothing except charge me my co-pay. Finally they approved the prescription and he said never mind about the tablet that no one ever heard of. I went to fill the prescription and the pharmacist said it was going to be $440 for they cream. I said forget it. The pharmacy told me the cream was for eczema and no one uses it any more, even for eczema. That's when I decided that Dr Levit was just a place that takes as many patients as they can and doesn't care whether they help them or not. Sort of like an assembly line. Though very polite, I waited a long time for hardly anyone being in the waiting room, almost 2 hours for a few minute visit and no help. I'm sure many are satisfied with his work, but he didn't help me and didn't seem to care if he did or not. I'm a veteran so I will go to VA hospital and let them take care of it for free. He is a nice man and his staff are all good. Slow, but polite. read more

This office is absolutely the worst. The receptionist is rude and arrogant. The nurse says "I know, I'm like a doctor, I've been working here for a year"...haha. No subordination in a medical office is always a bad sign.The doctor is a neurotic. The wait time was 50 min and when he finally showed up he could not focus on me for a minute, ran into another, yelled at an old man(another patient). Not organized, not responsible, not professional. Very interested in money. He spent more time on selling himself and his services than actually working with patients (I'm not even mentioning that he wants to help someone). I don't know who would trust him their skin or face and pay him money for his so called "services".Only patients who don't know better. Hope the following review is found to be helpful. I came to Dr. Levit's office 30 minutes before my appointment time because I new that being a new patient would require me to spend time filling out some papers. The paper work took only about 5 minutes to fill out. That was awesome. However, I had to wait over an hour before being called to speak with an employee who took a moment to ask a few questions about the reason for my visit and then had me wait over 25 additional minutes before being given a room. The only reason I was even called in THAT early, I feel, is because I got up and warned the receptionist that I was going to leave in 15 minutes after having waited 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I was admitted into the room by 1 of the 2 doctors who were there, Dr Levit, thank goodness because I caught the other doctor on their security monitor just taking his time to look at himself in the mirror. Dr Levit himself apologized for taking so long. While examining me and speaking to me he spoke with confidence and definitely came off to be intelligent, knowledgeable, and experienced. That said however, he clearly behaved rushed and spent less than 5 minutes with me and would even have forgotten to explain to me how I should use what he had prescribed to me if I didn't stop him and asked before he left. I strongly recommend patients to be weary of the wait time. If you don't have time to lose to unprofessionally long waiting times, make sure to not get an appointment later on in the day when the doctors are most likely in a rush to be done and there aren't as many patients ahead of you, otherwise bring a sleeping bag and food and prepare to setup camp. read more

Visiting Dr. Levit's office was a very friendly experience. Dr. Levit spent a generous amount of time with me and put all my concerns to rest regarding my medication that he prescribed me. Next time I was in the office seeing another Dr. (Dr. Levit's schedule was filled that day), he stepped into the room to say hello and to make sure I was doing well. The wait times aren't out of the ordinary for any busy medical office for a doctor everyone wants to see. My shortest wait time out of the couple of times I have been was 5 minutes, and the longest never exceeded 20, which I think is reasonable anyways. I had a pleasure of meeting Dr. Levit and doing several cosmetic procedures with him such as laser skin rejuvenation and tightening and botox. I have to say dr. Levit has magic hands - truly magic. I have done Botox before and it was always unpleasant and painful. Here I literally didn't feel a thing even when he did laser on very high frequency. He also has an amazing beautiful brand new office which is crystal clean. It's such a pleasure coming in there. But the best part is not the office and not dr. Levit's magic hands- it's his knowledge, education and experience. He is like a walking encyclopedia- he knows so much and analyses every problem patient brings him, he spends enormous amount of time with each and every patient and you can tell he is completely dedicated to his patients. Unfortunately they don't respond to their website inquiries. I sent one twice. I live within walking distance of their facility, but they don't seem to have an interest in responding to their on line inquiries. They should turn that function off if they can't accommodate a timely response. So I've decided this morning to call them and I got one idiot after another on the phone. I asked a simple question do you have a Pulse Dye Laser - after all they advertise they are a cosmetic practice, and when I asked about the Pulse Dye Laser, the one I need, they said, no we have another one ! I'm not interested in another one, I was interested in a very common laser, the Pulse Dyed Laser. In fact, they did not even know what I was referring to and this is the most common laser in any dermatological practice. Losers. Better not to be a patient there. read more

Had a in-person visit in March 2021. Office was super clean, professional - no concerns about COVID safety! Was quickly escorted into office. Had consult and pictures taken for BOTOX and filler. Dr. Eyal Levit is by far one of best dermatologist that I've ever been examined by. My skin is clearer than it ever was and believe me, I've tried everything under the sun since I was a teen dealing with acne. Also, I love his work on juvaderm injections. He's accurate, very knowledgable, and does exactly what you ask for. Great doctor overall! The entire office are such wonderful people and they always greet me with kindness when I come for an office visit. Unfortunately, I cannot provide feedback of the actual services provided. Had an appointment at 6, rushed out of work to make it there on time. Unfortunately, the same consideration was not given to me. The office itself is horrendous, it feels like you are in a hospital. If you weren't sick before you got here, you may start thinking you are coming down with something. Who wants to go to a hospital setting when you are just coming in for an office visit? The front desk was courteous and asked me to prepay for my appointment, which I happily did. After a 30 min wait, I checked in with the front desk, they told me 10 min. 15 min later I am still waiting there, I check in again. they said 5 more minutes. At the hour mark, I got up, requested my refund, and left. My time is very valuable and I expect courtesy from my providers. There is no excuse that I had to wait over an hour for my appointment, if the practitioner is running late, then I should have received a courtesy call. This is a chop shop that overbooks. There are too many amazing practitioners in NY that there is no reason to go to a facility that puts their wallet ahead of their patients needs. read more

Two days ago I had my first meeting with the doctor. Immediately that surprised me, they took the full information of my credit card. I am pregnant, came with a child because I had no one to leave him with, we waited in line for 1.5 hours. The women in the waiting room are very nervous. Russian-speaking assistant, who conducted a survey arrogant and rude. Unfortunately I do not know her name. She can't talk normally. She allows herself a lot of things should not allow. The doctor was with me in the office just 5 minutes. The treatment has just begun, so I will write an opinion about the doctor himself when my treatment ends. Unless of course this blonde assistant does not understand that she is there because we go there and the office management will teach her how to behave with people. I wish I could give this doctor and his whole office ZERO stars not even 1! Let me first start with front desc. Typical rude, disrespectful, nasty and careless office..I had to re-ask them for my change after paying my copayment. Woman in the front desc was so nervous and frustrating, arrogantly looked at me and said that I have to wait some time to get MY change.She allows herself a lot of things that should not be allowed.I had to wait few hours..and then she said I could go see the doctor. Inside the checkup room I had to wait another 40 minutes to see a doctor. I was already ready to leave, because it seemed ridiculous. So the doctor comes in , it was African American young lady, very reluctant and rushing..She looked at my problem and without any assessment she told me I had to stop using my soap and buy another one. THAT'S IT!! Are you serious?? I said to myself. I came to your office with a PROBLEM, acute PROBLEM and you just tell me to stop using my soap?! No swab for checking the virus, bacteria , fungi nor doing any biopsy. I had to ask for biopsy by myself since I myself work in the medical field and understand little things in dermatology. She took the biopsy and that's it, she said she was done with me. Maximum time she saw me was 10 minutes, that includes biopsy time. I didn't receive any teachings nor any helpful recommendations. I left almost crying, because not only it was a full waste of time but the problem of my skin was still not resolved. Later on I kept receiving bills, although I did my payments they kept sending me bills and also threatened me that they would stop seeing me later on as a patient in their office. I was quiet frankly shocked about it, because it sounded as a total negligence in care and only financial ''care''.
