    Passionfruit Green Tea Coffee Frap
    Cheri S.

Cute little shop on Washington Ave. I walked passed it often and decided to give it a try. The drinks were reasonably priced but I didn't enjoy my passion fruit tea as much as I wanted to. I got 50% sweetness and it tasted like 100%. Despite that, the ice blended coffee was good. Also small detail, they never called us up to tell us our order was ready... so we sat there for a while waiting before we got up to ask about the drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables and chairs were also very sticky and could use a simple wiping down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall I would try again just get something different.

What a great place! Coffee was amazing just the right amount of sweet and the banh mi had amazing flavors and tasted very fresh! Service was so nice and helpful! Picked up some pokemon cards at a decent price as well. Would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you!

The coffee was soooo good esp with the foam on top. I didn't think it was overly sweet and packed some punch to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Space was very clean and service was nice and fast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came in a large party of about 9 people. Didn't wait very long for our drinks at all.

There's an ordering station if you don't want contact. This is my new Viet coffee spot. Love the egg foam coffee with egg pudding. Also ordered the Viet coffee with condensed milk with coffee jelly. I came back another day and ordered the green Thai tea and red Thai tea which both were good but the green Thai tea surprised me. The green Thai tea was earthy and I came back the third day to order the green Thai tea and avocado smoothie. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Spot is still in its soft opening so there is a huge open space which can be filled with more tables and chairs when business improves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Pennywort and Mung Bean

Tucked in the same plaza as Ba Le and Grand Palace restaurant, Levien Cafe caught my eye as I walked past due to their decor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is nice and spacious, with Halloween decor everywhere when I went. The fixtures were modern and there was even a small shop within this cafe that sells Pokémon cards.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu is mostly Vietnamese style coffee, with other drinks such as smoothies and teas. I decided to get the pennywort and mung bean drink since I was parched and this sounded the most "healthy" drink on their menu. This drink is known as a herbal drink that has good health benefits. Although there was no one in line, the drink took over 40 minutes to come out! Everyone in there was already seated and well situated but I guess the speed the drinks came out in general was slow as people were barely starting to get their drinks a while AFTER I ordered. The drink was a bit below average. I have had this drink before and it did not taste like this. I saw they don't use fresh pennywort so that could be the main contributing factor. It came out of a bottle that looked like what I could buy at the grocery store across the street! I also noticed the fruit syrups they used so be aware that their fruit drinks do not use fresh fruit either! Overall, I would say try their coffees as that seemed to be their most popular drink items, but avoid their "fruit" drinks.

This place is in the same spot as the International All You Can Eat Korean BBQ Buffet (all my millennials know) from back in the day (early-mid 2000s). Their Vietnamese iced coffee is delicious and I can't wait to try the salted foam coffee. Their wings and fries have good flavor but I do prefer my wings a little crispier. But you can't beat the price. I also tried their traditional banh mi and it was very tasty as well.

Popped into this cute viet cafe in South Philly and I came back a second time because the egg foam coffee was really good. I think it has a good balance between the sweetness and strong bitter coffee taste. Definitely kept me caffeinated throughout the day ‍ [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a couple of tables which is perfect for a work sesh in a cute cafe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I got the iced coconut coffee which had the perfect amount of sweetness and server/cashier was super welcoming!

I recently visited Levien Cafe with my family and I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks/food. I got their Jasmine Milk Tea, which they made with just the right amount of sweetness and a nice tea-to-milk ratio. The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a cup. Service was friendly and efficient as well!

New fresh bubble tea store just open about one week. Store clean and spacious! The sea-salt coffee is good to try! My baby and I love the Levien egg pudding in my Pink Guava Green tea.

I got an iced latte, the Jerusalem Bage withl Smoked Salmon Scallion Cream Cheese, Cucumbers, Pickled Red Onions it was incredible. It has…read morethe ease of a neighborhood café, yet the confidence, visual sophistication, and social energy of a much larger restaurant. We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.
