I stopped in on a snowy Sunday around noon. The cafe was light and bright, had plenty of seating, and no line. The friendly worker told me every pastry in the display - I went with an almond croissant although all the choices looked great. I got a vanilla latte with oat milk and the breakfast sandwich, no mods. My order was ready quickly. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich - delicious crunchy soft bread but I should have gotten some kind of sauce. The latte was fine, not the best ever, and the croissant was good. Id definitely stop by to try more of the food options if I was in the area.

I had the saddest looking chocolate croissant the other day. Looks like they ran out of chocolate while making it. Their mocha was good but they seriously need to update their mug selection - most boring cups I have seen at a cafe. I did mention the items were for "here" and the barista did not even offer me a proper plate or napkins for my croissant - had to get the napkins myself. Also, the coffee trail on the outside of the mug wasn't my doing - I am not sure but aren't they supposed to clean it up? Sometimes I hate I have to pay a 20% tip on top of the outrageous cafe prices these days and also do all the work myself. Was definitely my last time here.

Not our usual stomping ground for lunch, but it ended up definitely serving its purpose. We grabbed two sandwiches and a cookie. The most important aspect of the sandwiches was the baguettes, which were delicious. Crispiness level was perfect and it honestly didn't even matter what was inside. The Forin baguette with ham/butterGouda was good but I preferred the huli huli chicken (Hawaiin BBQ chicken) more just because it felt more interesting. The ube cookie was divine. Would eat again for sure. The cafe itself as an atmosphere is just a cafe. The wait was strangely long for the food, which was a bummer. And I don't know that I would necessarily come here to study or do anything more than just have a sandwich.

Coffee was fine, nothing to write home about. Love the spacious cafe and the variety of seating options so would be a good spot to do work or read at. Very friendly staff.

Very friendly staff and delicious iced latte. I wanted to get a pastry but I went later in the afternoon so there was not that much left!

Cool coffee shop. They make 5 different syrups in house. My latte ($6.10) was average but I am adding a star because the place was super clean and had a ton of seating. The art was cute and they sold some pretty cool loose coffee beans too.

This is a cozy cafe, great to get work done at with unique offerings like miso caramel and the pandan latte which is what I tried. It tasted like an earthy vanilla and I would get it again. I look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu offerings.

K'Far shows how much atmosphere CookNSolo can create within a relatively compact footprint. It has…read morethe ease of a neighborhood café, yet the confidence, visual sophistication, and social energy of a much larger restaurant. We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.

We were determined to make the most of it and found this coffee place the next morning on yelp and we're so happy we did! Instantly brightened what was a terrible situation. Please open a K'Far in Austin, TX!! Pistachio sticky bun - Absolutely delicious! Egg and cheese Jerusalem bagel - Delicious! Crispy, flavorful, slightly spicy. Yemenite iced coffee - So good! Like a spiced Vietnamese coffee. Sachlav - Loved! Like a cappuccino but with less milk. It wasn't as sweet which was a nice contrast to the sticky bun. We got in as a walk in without a wait on a Sunday morning. The server was nice as well. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!
