This is an ultimate gaming and entertainment spot. You have a ton of rooms with different challenges ranging from mental to physical. The rooms all have their own special theme and even on a weekend, the wait for rooms wasn't that long. The wait times ranged from three to five minutes if I was the next in line. The beer and food is also really good! Tasty beer and delicious food after playing was a great way to end my time here. I was also appreciative of the free water available. Taking on room after room definitely gets you dehydrated. So take advantage of the free water. I only spent two hours here, but I could totally see myself spending twice as long. Plus, four hours is only $10 more than the two hour option. I think the higher price is well worth it. This is a super fun place! read more

Came here last night to celebrate my brothers birthday, as we had heard decent things about this place. We arrived around 730pm and there were a lot of people standing outside, in front of the front desk, & to the left there was a discombobulated line. After waiting at the front desk (like most places) we were told we needed to wait in the long line to the left. We waited in this long line and then our group of 4 who wanted to pay together had to use separate kiosks to enter information on an extremely long as hell waiver and account creation. We opted for the 4 hour one, and I am glad we did because two hours wouldn't have been enough. There's long lines at every game (that actually works) & God forbid you don't read. Your turn will be over before you even know it started and then you've waited for nothing. Not many instructions on anything nor people trying to gain some structure nor were parents paying attention to their children. The inside of the place is huge, and there are a lot of things to do ! For all ages and size groups. I would prefer to come here when it is not as packed to see if there is kore enjoyment & perhaps more working rooms. The food was very subpar for the pricing. The sheet pan nachos were one of the best things on the menu next to the pepperoni pizza. The crust and flavor on the pizza were pretty good. The wings were disgusting. Both the sticky wings and the lime ones. They were dry and tough, and that's weird because they were huge flinstones looking wings. I requested ranch and was brought back some green looking thing from a Dr Seuss book. The drinks were watered down to say the least & we ordered quite a few. The salt and pepper fries, were fries. I mean it's kind of hard to mess those up. I don't think the pricing was worth it for the entrance fee but can't do much about that now. This place was fun but a few things to be aware of: 1. Their website makes no mention of that they run a waitlist (like when you put your name in at a restaurant) so plan accordingly if you're going on a weekend and plan to wait a few hours to get a 2 hour ticket to play. It's good to kill time in the taproom, Dave and busters or even the mall. 2. Some of the games/rooms are hard to understand at first and part of the experience (apparently) is to figure out what you're supposed to be doing. It was frustrating at first cause you'd walk in a room and immediately lose without knowing what you did so try not to touch anything when you first get in. The staff wasn't very helpful with that messaging and assumed everyone there automatically gets how the place works. We did have a fun time and want to go back to try some of the rooms we figured out the objective of, but wish the communication was a little clearer. read more

Great spot for a fun activity with older kids or grown-up friends. It's a big space, with lots of options of activities. It can get crowded, but for us on a Saturday night we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to get into a room. Each room has a challenge in it that is either mental, physical or a mixture of the two. You can float around and try lots of rooms or do Vs battles (one in one challenges). It's all very user-friendly and the tech works well. If you need help you can click on the hints button before going in (sometimes helpful when the instructions are unclear). There's a lot of variety and different levels of difficulty. There was a room that had a giant labyrinth on the floor (the game where you navigate a ball along a path without dropping it into one of the holes), there are games that require observation skills like finding photos that match a description or watching lights. One of our favorites was the ninja dojo that requires you to tap buttons that light up while you avoid rotating sticks coming off a middle column. We had a good time and for $30 per person for 2 hours it's not cheap but not too pricey. We didn't sample any of the food or beer as we went after dinner. First time at Level99 Providence! My 3 kids had a blast and we know we'll become regulars!! So fun!!

6 of us came here for a surprise birthday and had SO MUCH FUN. I was hesitant, as I typically don't like the idea of escape rooms, but these are easily digestible in small doses and there are a variety of different things to do. Each room only takes a few minutes, so you never feel "stuck" doing something. The arenas and rooms were definitely everyone's favorite-- we didn't bother with the scavenger hunts as they seemed a bit tedious. Our favorite genres were the mental/communication rooms and the arenas. The wrist bands are super easy to use, and the $29.99 gives you enough gems/time to conquer as much or as little as you want. Each challenge requires gems to "pay", and you get rewarded in either gems or tokens after each challenge. You can redeem the coins for hints or gems, and redeem the gems for pieces to work toward a real prize (like a free pretzel or t-shirt). There's also food/drinks inside, free water refill stations, and hand sanitizer! Our only small critique is that it was sometimes difficult to know how many people should go into a room. For example, all 6 of us scanned our gems for the Tarzan challenge, but realized upon entry that it was really more ideal for 2. Also, some of the rooms deemed "physical" were extremely physical (like the candy spin) whereas others were lightly physical (like the pirate plank). It would be nice if the screens outside each room were clearly labeled with a suggestion of how many players to bring + how physical or difficult the challenge will be. Maybe on a scale of "couch potato easy" to "marathon runner difficult" lol There were some rooms we never figured out, but you can use tokens for clues which definitely helped in some cases. Once you pay gems for a room, it'll be free going forward so you can give it a few tries to figure it out! Overall, we will definitely be back and can't wait! read more

my friend and i had a blast at level 99. it's essentially 40+ escape rooms that incorporate movement, knowledge and skill. groups as little as 2 can play. there's pretty much no wait time for most of the rooms, the maximum wait time is always about 5 minutes. it's $30 for two hours, $40 for four hours and $50 for the entire day. i think it's a popular place for kids and adults, as the rooms have varying levels of difficulty. its for sure a good place for a teenage birthday party. overall rating: 10/10 read more

Wow!! If this is what their "soft" opening is like, I can't wait until all their game rooms are finally completed! Obviously, it's super tough to find something to do on July 3rd, but figured since Natick was nearby, we'd check out this Level 99. Signed up on the waiting list and walked around the mall for about 1.5 hrs; there's alot here, too. Afterwards, we signed waivers and created accounts to play, quite surprised at how cheap the game was $29.99 for 2 hrs (which looks like it's based on the game room time selected). There are games that require brain power and some that require physical work. There's also hints that you can use your coins to unlock, but we just went in and winged it....which resulted us ending the game almost instantly haha. We brought our kids (age 12) here and they had a really fun time. When I asked what was the most fun, they said it was all so fun. So setting up the account and signing the waivers is a PIA, but the staff are really nice, friendly, and helpful. The place is wild--noisy, lots of shrieking, and lots of older teens and young adults. They have complimentary water, and there are lockers and restrooms. It was busy on Friday nights but the wait wasn't long for activities. Nice space for parents to wait. read more

This place is so neat! I brought my boyfriend here on a random Thursday night to surprise him the evening before his birthday and it absolutely makes you feel like a giddy kid again...something you lose sight of at 38. I had no idea it had drinks and food also which made it even cooler. We didn't try these this time but will next time. It was a tiny bit less polished than I initially anticipated but logic dictates it would need to be in order to sustain so much interaction! It does smell quite a lot like sweat in there but it's very physical so I'm not sure what can be done to that point. 100% recommend going at least once to try it! read more

Went there last night to check out and was greeted by Aiden, a coordinator who was very helpful. It was nice to see an employee who enjoys his job and cares about good customer service. When he couldn't answer a question he went to get Joe the Manager. Joe was equally impressive taking time to show us around and telling us about the business and what they do and provide. My favorite place in the world. I've been here three times and all three times I've spent 11 hours here (full-day pass for $50). It's a literal video game in real life and you're the main character. Each room can be completed by 2-6 players. Each room is completely different, and is categorized with titles such as physical, mental, or teamwork. Each room is on a set timer so once you scan your wristband, the clock starts and you attempt the complete the task inside the room. After the timer stops, or you fail, you'll get graded out of stars--with 3 being the most. I'm trying to complete every single room in level 99 with three stars, it's pretty hard. Just like a video game you level up, and in level 99 you get star levels based on the amount of stars you collected. Some rooms such as Tarzan (it was getting renovated last time I went) are nearly impossible to even get one star at, so clearly level 99 is still new and trying to improve. However level 99 has so much potential and I can see it expanding to be huge. Each room strategy varies greatly. Physical rooms are not insane but do require putting in a sweat sometimes. Mental rooms can be very puzzling and tricky to solve, yet rewarding when you finally figure them out. If you complete a room you can also get rewards, such as pretzels, t-shirts, and other cool prizes. I won't tell you more, but there is a room that some can grind (and get two free t-shirts like me heh). HELPFUL TIPS: It gets BUSY BUSY. Go on random weekdays and I've never had to wait in a line. They have lockers to put your belongings in while you're off completing rooms. They have a bar, food to buy, free water stations. But you can also leave the venue and return whenever you feel like it. I think you get your moneys worth when buying the full day pass, since time tends to move super quick while you're in there. So to me the 2 hour or 4 hour pass aren't worth it. Awesome. Fun. Technology is cool. I love level99. You have to try it out. Also lmk if you get 3 stars on space nebula or apocalypse. This place is tremendous. The amount of thought, planning, development, design, imagination and care that went into it is truly impressive and inspiring. The puzzle rooms combine thought and or a physical challenge. Each room is uniquely themed screens direct you and sensors score the game or prevent cheating. It can be quite busy on the weekends so try to get there during a weekday. If you are in town visiting Boston, its worth the trip. We went to Level99 to celebrate a friend's birthday! It was so much fun - from the physical game rooms to the mental game rooms, there's something for everyone. We didn't get any food, but they do have a full bar and restaurant attached. Free water is available too! Suitable for all ages, and parking was easy to find. It's really fun. I like the mini games. I'm glad that it's possible to get 3 starts every time, though not easy. Saturday evening visit at 10 PM was much better than Saturday afternoon which was really busy. I wish I could go every week but I just need to find some friends who will go more often! It is nicer at slower times, minimal wait times, can play many more games in a given 2 hours. At busier times, every game has a wait. The food was not bad, first time we went, we were hungry. I thought it was going to be a very traditional escape room where there's one room, 10 people get showed in with you, and you don't make it out for a good 25 minutes but it's actually way more modern. There's a good variety of mental and physical games as well as just for fun games. This is awesome for team building and for family fun. Some rooms I couldn't figure out since there was very little clues or no directions--but I guess that's the name of the game. I would come here again but I'm skeptical about whether I would have as much fun considering I went into almost every room. I think the price is also fair. This place is a must visit! I just got back from going with three friends and we had the best time! There is such a variety of rooms and we all loved them... even those who don't love physical activities as much still loved it! Definitely recommend being older for going... middle school and up. It was nice going during the day because it was pretty empty and you don't have to wait for any rooms. Price wise it was super reasonable given how well done the rooms are. We got the two hour ticket and it was perfect but I could also see the 4 hour ticket being a good choice because you can take a break for food during it. Definitely wear comfortable clothing because you're moving around a lot. They also have free lockers where you can leave your stuff. And good here is amazing! Only good thing about this place was Nightshift. My friends and I are in our early 30s, and we had no idea what was going on. We lost so many rooms simply because we would make a wrong step. Then it would kick us out of the room and we would have to go wait in line again. We would have enjoyed this more if we knew the objective to each game. But you go into a room and have 3 mins and have no idea what to do. I liked the swinging swords game because you knew exactly what needed to be done. Level99 had very cool puzzles. The problem with Level99 is there are too many people and you have to wait to get into the rooms. Some of the rooms can also be very confusing to figure out what your goal is. You can wait 5 minutes to get into a room and then lose in seconds of a minor slip up. The overall concept of Level 99 is really cool. The problem is that they aren't concerned about your safety because you sign a waiver. I was in the Ninja room with my 2 children on July 14, 2023. The room has you swing on ropes while jumping from platform to platform. The entire room is padded other than around all edges of the floor. The edges are made of wood blocks with sharp edges. I hadn't noticed the flooring when I started. It seemed like the room was all padding, and I didn't inspect the edges of the room. When I swung from one platform to another, I fell and split my head open about 2 inches. I was taken to the ER and needed 7 staples in my head. My daughter was so freaked out from the blood squirting from my head (yes, like a sprinkler), she passed out. level 99 only has 1 wheelchair, so we had to make a decision who rode in the wheelchair. The General Manager (Ashley Heleodoro) was great until I asked for my medical bills to be covered. At that point, she didn't return my calls. Of you are going to Level 99, consider skipping the physical challenges because some of them are not safe. I waited 6 months to post this review because I didn't want to post it out of anger, I wanted to post it as a public service announcement. read more

Night Shift was everything I needed and more! From amazing food and drink to excellent atmosphere, I had an amazing time. Food was great! We got Sticky Chicken Wings and Rosemary Truffle Fries for the table. Both tasted great and were of decent portion / what you can expect from any restaurant. The glaze in the wings was sweet and spicy, they were crispy, and the dipping sauce was rich - everything worked so well together. The Koran fried chicken sandwich was a big thigh, soft bun, and tangy sauce. I subbed in a side salad fir the fries and was not disappointed. The dressing on the side was creamy and green. Service was great and super quick. We were greeted immediately when we walked in, had drinks within 5 minutes, and got out food shortly after ordering. Our server was super friendly and welcoming. She even knew we needed plates right as I was about to ask her. The room was a bit louder than expected, but it was a super comfortable room to hang out in. You can choose all day, 4 hours or 2 hours. We did 4 hours and that was a good amount of time, even when they stopped letting people in because there are enough rooms and enough things to do outside of the rooms that you'll be busy enough. You can grab a drink and go into rooms as well, which seems like a horrible idea especially for places where you need to climb on the walls or run to avoid being hit....Fun times though. I'd totally go again. We went to nightshift after to eat, but I feel like that should be a different review location. read more

Level99 exceeded my expectations. BodaBorg (my one true love, in Malden) took escape rooms to the next era, and Level99 has given them a bright new twist. I loved how much there was to explore - doorways you couldn't see from the main area, shadow hunts and showdown arenas, and an overall great atmosphere. Some of the challenges were quite hard. They give you different amounts of time based on how many people are in your group, which is necessary in most cases. I can see this being better for large groups than BodaBorg, where my core team and I can have fun chipping away at challenges but where it can be a bit hard to introduce new people into a group that already knows the tricks. Because Level99 has levels and rewards and you get points just for competing even if you already won, there's a factor of replay that gives it more flexibility. Food at NightShift was also incredible, the Korean Chicken Sandwich hit the spot and the different seating options (in or out of the arena space) were nice choices. Other highlights / tips: - the lockers are a great addition, as is the free water station - the wristbands work great - I wish they had a demo video to make it easier to understand the levels, etc. though the helpers walked us through it - Park as close to this as you can - late a night, it's a real pain to walk all around the mall to get to your car read more

This place is awesome, just a ton of fun. You go in, get a wristband, and you are guided over to the kiosk. That's where everyone creates their account (or logs in), and it's useful that everyone can either pay for themselves or one person can pay for the group. There are restrooms before you enter (which you can also return to while you're playing), as well as an area for lockers to store any small bags or loose items. Someone was at the end of the rainbow tunnel at a podium to help give a breakdown of things work. She explained some game mechanisms like the gems to unlock rooms, coins to unlock hints, and puzzle pieces to get real world prizes (like pretzels or T-shirts). I think you earn more of each from playing, but I don't think this part really matters unless you care about what level you're on and how many points you have. There are different kinds of rooms that test different skills (logic, physical, skill, etc). Some of them you'll probably instantly fail when you go in because there really aren't that many instructions. I feel like it's worth getting the hints in advance so you can maximize your time in the room. You'll probably want to play a room again several times, but if you go when it's busy, there will probably be people waiting to go next. I recommend going at a time when there's less likely to be others in order to really have fun and have it feel less crowded. 2 hours was enough time for our group of 4. A 3 hour option would be nice because 4 feels too long. The free water stations are awesome. The cafeteria and bar locations look great and make this place feel like somewhere you could be all day if you wanted. Overall, this place is really high-tech, clean, and modern looking. The rooms are a lot of fun, and it's a great place to go for a date, hang out with friends, or be with family. I also think people of all ages would have a good time here. What a great time! Went for a late lunch and a two hour adventure. Had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich: probably the best I had north of Nashville. Great beer selection too. The games are tough. Very exciting with a small group. Some rooms are mentally challenging (think a difficult escape room), while others are physically challenging. Great set up. Helpful and friendly staff. This is probably one of the best game places I have ever been to. At first I was reluctant. I'm a huge escape room fanatic I have done over 80 different ones. This is the only place I have can go to over and over and have fun every single time it is a great challenge both physically and mentally.
