Everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful, beautifully plated, and far exceeded our expectations. You'd never guess a restaurant inside a pickleball club could serve up dishes with this level of quality. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared -- no shortcuts, no "sport-club food" vibe here. Came here with a reservation on a Sunday and the place was pretty busy - definitely would recommend booking ahead if you can! The app wasn't too hard to use, although it seemed like it was iOS only when we tried so we had to use one person's phone specifically. Price is a bit high, but the facilities are nice. We ended up booking another court when our time expired since we were having such a good time. They could definitely enhance the experience by adding dividers between the courts to prevent balls from rolling over so often, but other than that, we had a nice time. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely come back! read more

The facility is nice and modern. But the courts are close together, with poles and fences interfering with play often. Low ceilings, too. Was playing pretty regularly here, but there's too much waiting around at Open play. They started taking 6 players per court, and raised prices. And they don't run the A/C enough so it's always hot. read more

Came with a court reservation for an hour on a Saturday afternoon with a group of six. It was pretty full but we were able to make another reservation for an extra half hour at a different court upstairs. The facilities are clean and bright. I've been playing pickleball (PB) a year. Great way to get exercise while having fun and being social. It is easy to start playing with comparable people. It requires some light running, hand-eye coordination, and anticipating the ball. Bosse provides an indoor venue, so you don't need to worry about the snow, cold, hot, rain, or humidity of outdoor courts. The 21 indoor courts make it easy to book and play for all skill levels, and to join in the fun of open plays or training drills. The staff is friendly and helpful. I joined Bosse over a year ago. I have used the great pickleball facilities, yoga and stretching classes, themed events, darts area, restaurant, cafe and sports lounge and organized private New Year's Eve parties twice. I have met so many wonderful and interesting people and made new friends I see outside of Bosse. I am consistently greeted by people at the front desk who deliver a personal hello and a smile. I always feel welcome. The restaurant staff, chefs and management are always accommodating and warm. The food is delicious. It is fun to dine and have the ability to view pickleball games from the window seats. Bosse is a top-notch facility with opportunities to exercise, socialize and recreate. The pickleball pros offer a variety of options from drills to leagues to holiday events to lessons. They offer helpful friendly pointers during events which is a terrific bonus. Bosse is my home away from home. read more

Really clean facilities, brand new courts, nets, amenities. There's really cute bar near the entrance as well. For a group of 4 for an hour at this facility, $80 seems reasonable. Only suggestion would be maybe a net or curtain to separate courts. read more

Starting my pickleball journey last summer, I was super excited to hear about the former Neiman Marcus at the Natick Mall being converted over to be the Bosse Pickleball facility. Since its opening I've attended over 20 sessions of open play and ladder at various skill levels and intend on going back for more. The staff here is great, both facility and Pickleball pros. Everyone is super nice and want you to have a good time. Given the open nature of the facility, each event can have both familiar and new people to meet and play with which keeps things interesting and it's nice to see the growth in other players to help motivate yourself to keep playing better. That openness can have some challenges though--which is that the open play rarely has any staff present to help manage courts under the assumption that we're all adults and can figure things out. That assumption usually works but people with different backgrounds from other facilities try to change what's going on at Bosse to match their own preferences which then disrupts the larger group. Simply having a staff member wander by every so often would likely deter this behavior. Better yet, just post some signage with instructions so that people don't have to argue or get confused about what's going on. Some of the "normal house rules" and challenges I've seen for open play: 1. Match scoring--here it's normally play to 9, win by 1, but if there's a lot of people sometimes people try to request play to 11 so they can stay on the court longer, creating awkward vibes. Is 2 points really going to make a difference? probably not. When there is nobody waiting to play, going to 11 is usually more accepted otherwise don't do this. 2. Court rotation--If you win, stay on, if you lose, rotate off and get back in line. Play at most 2 games in a row. Unfortunately, some people that lose try to stay on anyways. Some people that win, continue to stay on and never rotate out after 2 wins. Don't be that person, nobody will like you for being greedy for time and everyone notices but might not say something to you. 3. Paddle queue--Near each set of courts is usually a rack for paddles with a magnet to mark position. How this works is that you put your paddle next to the paddle that is furthest from the magnet. then you just move the magnet to mark whoever is next in turn. Some people end up rearranging all the paddles and ignoring the magnet. Don't do this. Do you really want to touch someone else's paddle, or have other people touch your paddle? Some paddles are over 250$! 4. Court teams--Here it's usually the 2 winners split to opposite sides and the two new players pick one. Sometimes the winners want to stay together because they're partners and it's totally OK for the new players to agree to let them stay together, bearing in mind that there is the 2 games at most in a row rule from court rotation. Although these are the usual rules, be nice, think of others, and keep an open mind about what is fair. Don't be afraid to shut down weird requests just because someone wants to play more than their share. Speaking of which, it's great that the facility emphasizes "play nice" but not everyone will, that's why facilities are usually staffed to help enforce where needed. This facility does have low-ish ceilings given that it was formerly a department store and not a warehouse type of building so be careful with your lobs. Ceiling-touches are automatic loss. Courts are also a bit narrow which can make returning side-spin serves quite difficult and ATPs a rarity. There are also a few courts that have obstructions near the service line that might surprise you as you try to serve. Give it a try! Prices are relatively high but you already know this when you sign up so it's not something to complain about. The facility is very full all the time even at this pricing so it's likely not to change (maybe until the weather gets nicer probably). I also think that Bosse could get much more memberships (and guaranteed recurring income) if they bundled some included/free open play with the pickleball membership in addition to the discounted rate. I would definitely sign up for TWO memberships if that were the case, but for now I'll just keep paying a la carte to keep things flexible for myself. I've had a perplexing experience with Bosse. First, I want to say that I like Bosse Pickledom. My wife and I go there regularly - for both open plays and lessons. We like the instructors and the community Some time ago they raised the prices for open plays. With the outdoor season ending, my wife and I decided it would make sense to purchase membership for both of us. However, for several days we were unable to do so. We entered all the required information, but when we tried to click the 'Pay' button, nothing happened. Glitches happens on every website, so we decided to wait. The issue wasn't fixed for several days. I've just purchased a membership at another club in the area. It is a bit farther for me though. I like it a little bit less than Bosse, but I was able to purchase membership online within minutes. I am truly sorry that the website didn't work the way it should. Based on the History how Bosse started in Sudbury to how it's run now, most people are leaving the Bosse ecosystem. There are new places opening up all around metro west, they are no longer the king of the hill, I am driving extra 20 min to avoid them at all cost. read more

INCREDIBLE! had my husband's 30th bday here and the experience couldn't have been better. Lauren helped coordinate the event, made it so easy - answered all my questions and was so patient and quick to respond. Reserved space was beautiful and everything was exceptionally clean, felt so high-end. So impressed by all the staff (Sequoia, Illiana, Gabe, Noah & others), so professional & personable - tended to us all day long from 2:30 - 11:00 pm! Unbelievably accommodating, anything we asked they made happen effortlessly - really did make so we could all really enjoy the day. Couldn't be happier. So impressed. Food was great too. First off, the staff was great! The place was super clean and I had fun. Just a couple of key things for me, and perhaps it's just me. I don't get a few things. Let's start with the lack of showers. Such a huge place, yet no room for showers? It's not just the lack of showers, it's the concept of having fine dining in the same spot. In a perfect world, I would like to play, shower up, and enjoy the food. The idea of fine dining after being all sweaty doesn't work for me. That begs the question of whether fine dining is going to be the right call with this mix of clientele. Time will tell, but I wonder if great pub food, apps, etc might be a better fit for appre exercise, especially without showers. The other thing that I found frustrating was the lack of nets between courts. They courts are stacked side by side, with very little, and in some cases nothing between them. Our ball was on the other court over 10 times in an hour, it's just what happens without barriers. There is no need for it. That's an easy fix should they ever be motivated to do it. If you LOVE pickleball or just want to learn, this is the place!! Twenty-one courts and a ton of daily offerings from drills, to round robins, to open play. The coaches are amazing!! My skill level has gone up quite a bit just in the few months they have been open. It's also always fun to rent a court with friends and grab a beverage after at the sports bar or restaurant. Locker rooms are the cleanest you will ever see! If I could give them ten stars I would! read more
