We hired Level Up Home remodeling at the second time after they helped us to remodel a house in Sunnyvale and sale it, Nir our project manager helped us before with management of the project and even to get a realtor to sale and buy the new home. It was pretty obvious for is to call Nir this time we felt trust about him and about his work. This time the project was much larger we looked for a house in Campbell area and Nir came with us to check two homes and decide which one is better for us. After all the consulting we got from Nir we been prepared everything for the remodeling, we found a beautiful 1,700 square foot home in Campbell with nice kitchen and two bathrooms as we was dreaming. Level Up Home Remodeling was the first company we contacted after searching on Yelp. The initial meeting with Nir (our PM and also a co-owner of the company) was tough for him because we truely didn't know what we wanted.  He encouraged us to meet with other companies to have a fair comparison.  After interviewing 5 others, we narrowed down to Lvl Up and another one.  We were leaning toward the other company more at first simply because they were more aggressive.  However, as we researched and interacted with both more, we realized Nir from Level Up was more honest and straight forward to work with.  He communicated and understood us better and made us feel that every project is important to them regardless of the size.  Due to bad past experience with contractors and the whole pandemic, we were extremely nervous and skeptical.  Nir let us talk to his co-owner and show us their other projects.  So, we decided to pull the trigger to go with Level Up and that was the best thing that could happen for us during the terrible year of 2020. Our remodeling project was for the entire first floor.  We wanted to relocate our kitchen to the dining area, remove a load-bearing wall to create open concept, use living room as new dining, use old kitchen as new living room, change the old humongous brick fireplace into something nicer, put in new flooring, and scale up the powder room, and put in 5 new construction windows. The estimate was 2-3 months for the project and everything completed in 2 months and 3 days.  The crew worked super hard and fast.  7:30AM sharp on the first day and they were at our place.  I thought it would take a few days to clear things out but nope.  They moved everything into the garage for us, demolished everything in just HOURS.  You can tell those guys have done remodeling for so long that they got the entire process in place.  They put in temporary sink for us, put up tarp with zipper on our upper floor to keep the dust out, they cleaned up after themselves every single day before leaving....  Just amazing.   Nir was the project manager.  We also had a designer to create drawing and 3D rendering for us.  Our city permit was all handled seamlessly by them.  We had structural engineer, a foreman and his daily crew of plumber/electrician/flooring/etc., a supervisor to oversee the daily operation.  It was a big team designated for our project and that's how everything went so smoothly.  When Nir said at the beginning that his goal was to make me happy, it was not a marketing fluff.  He really meant it.  Nir always made sure things would look nice.  Beside things that we asked, there were lots of things that he decided to do extra for us without us even thinking about it.  He would not do things just to get it done and checked off from the contract.  Jose, our foreman, was the same way.  He would correct little things here and there to make it look nice for us.  Nir would suggest things along the way but left the decision up to us so we don't feel pressured. Payment was scheduled in phases after each specific milestone.  They are definitely not just doing it for the money.  You can tell that they LOVE what they can do for the customers.  My husband is super picky and not so easy to please, yet he is very happy with our experience this time.  We'll for sure use Level Up again for future projects and recommend them to anyone with remodeling need.  Level Up is not just a remodeling company.  They can transform your dream into reality! read more

As I was researching building materials, I asked the store supervisor if he knew of a good contractor. He quickly and confidently referred Yanir . Unknowingly, this marked the beginning of a SUPERIOR project experience and friendship. At our first meeting, Yanir was a true professional. He listened attentively to our ideas/concerns while at the same time offered his knowledge in design and construction. In our master bathroom, for example, he asked which we used more- the tub or shower? This simple suggestion to switch the tub and shower positions resulted in an extra large, luxurious shower with a full bench. It took working from home for the past year to finally made me decide to dive in on renovating the kitchen. If I was going to be spending so much time home, I needed to make the space function better. After doing some research and interviewing companies, I went with Level Up mainly because of Noam, who became the project manager. Noam was well organized, responded quickly, and answers all my questions thoroughly. Any fear I had of doing my first renovation was quickly gone. He was able to make accommodation so there were minimal disruptions as I am working from home. The crew was efficient, respectful of the home, and follow all safety protocols. It was greatly appreciated! When we discovered we had to rewire the house (it's a 70yo house after all) and also add on to redo the bathroom, he gave a fair estimate. Everything was completed early then the original estimated timeline! The only reason that was possible was because of how on top of everything he was. I definitely will go back to Level Up and specifically request Noam for future projects! read more

The pros: The guys are nice guys. They will tell you want to hear. But then again so are used car salesman and thieves. My husband and I saved up for years to finally remodel our home. We have a construction guy that we normally work with, but he's only one guy. So he suggested we started researching companies because they are faster and have more people with specialties under their belt. We did just that. We wanted to add a room, our kitchen to be redone, our master bath to be redone, our bottom bathroom to be redone, and to repipe the house. We were quoted about 100,000 for everything by the different companies, but we chose Level Up because they could start and work with our time line. We checked out the licenses and reviews so we were good to go. This was the last week of May 2018. Engineer came in to look at our home for plans, 1st week of June. Borrowed a copy of my friends plans to take a look at promised it would be returned the next day. We were off on vacation because we didn't want to be around to see the mess. This would be our second time remodeling so we knew that this time we would hire a company and pay extra for that luxury. No permit, so they couldn't start on the kitchen, so they decided to start on the bottom bathroom. It is a very small bathroom, fits one toilet and one sink barely ban get in there myself. Promised it would be complete in a week. Three weeks later, it was done, missing several components, like the T for the sliding door and our brand new toilet was pooped in before we even got to use it. There was water damage to our wood floor as well. Continuing on to the piping. Whole house piping. Contract states permits were supposed to be pulled. None were. When we came back from vacation, the walls were open so we had our own contractor come in to look at the work. It was done poorly which is what we had thought. We went to our project manager who said everything was ok. There was no insulation for the hot water pipes. They tore up our master bathroom and didn't put it back together. They couldn't. It is 09/04. All is done, not by Level Up, but we had our original contractor come in and fix everything. All that was completed was the piping and the downstairs bathroom. No license was pulled either. No permits were done, AND they lost my friend's plans as well. Almost 12 weeks later. =( Stay away, far away. Houzz is a paid site. The positive reviews are done by family members or relatives. One of the reviews on there is our project manager. I did confront him, but he did not respond. I write this so that no one gets fooled. read more

I'm trying to catch up and give credit where credit is due. Last fall I had a dishwasher overflow and when it was pulled out we found mold. I had a remediation company come out first and they recommended Level Up Home Remodeling. They described Level Up as reasonable with professional quality work. They were right: I had new cabinets and appliances and a granite counter top. Their work is so amazing! I love my new kitchen! Mendy and his team were professional, reliable, and did excellent work. This was a pretty small project (putting in a wall and doorway where there wasn't one, painting a storage room) but they treated it with as much care as though it was huge! And when I noticed a few very minor items, Mendy made sure that they came back and adjusted things until i was completely satisfied. I first did a review of Level Up 7/24. 7/25 I received an email from Isacc A. asking me to contact him to discuss/resolve my issues. After several weeks of calling Isaac and leaving messages (to which there was no reply) I finally received a call from the Project Manager of my project. We met and I showed him/discussed my issues. 8/13 painter showed up. Showed him my issues with the wood on the back part of the house. He assessed everything and said he would be back on the 16th. On the 16th he showed up. Instead of replacing all of the dry rotten wood he started filling in (the same thing they had done in the beginning, which meant my problem was not going away). I told him I needed a carpenter, NOT A PAINTER. I worked for a major construction company for 23 years so I do know the right way things should be done, and what they were doing was not the right way, the QUICK WAY but NOT the right way. He left after being here less than an hour. I was told NOTHING could/would be done about my kitchen floor. Basically, nothing could be done about any of my issues. My back door still does not latch properly, pavers are continually separating, and all other issues still exist. I was offered a small financial offer, which really was not for any of the BAD WORK, but basically to remove the negative review I had written on Yelp. I have not heard anything more from Level Up since 8/13. I have hired a single contractor to come and clean up/straighten up some of my issues. Another thing, my financing started with Ygrene. Ygrene was not covering my complete project so I was referred to another source. All while going thru the paperwork process with this other lender I kept asking for re-assurance that I WAS NOT going to end up with DOUBLE FINANCING for my project. I was continually re-assured that this was not going to happen. That the process w/Ygrene had been cancelled. Well, guess what, I ENDED UP WITH DOUBLE FINANCING. The thing is, it was a month later that I actually found out that Level Up had received the original funding from Ygrene. I was not contacted by Level Up to inform me that THEY HAD RECEIVED funding from Ygrene, nor did Ygrene contact me to find out if I was indeed SATISFIED WITH THE WORK that had been performed by Level Up. So if you are dealing with Level Up and Ygrene, be very careful. My disappointment goes on, and I could go on, but as I stated earlier, I have acquired a single contractor to come out. Hopefully some of my DREAM PROJECT will actually become a REALITY.... read more

My mother is very picking and very hard to work with but they were extremely patient and professional from start to the finish. When my mom first saw her floors she had a problem with the moldings. The workers had no problem fixing her problem that she had to insure she was happy with the work being done. I signed a contract with Isaac representing Level Up Remodeling on March 26,2018 for an enclosure/patio. Once he received 75% of the agreed payment he was very difficult to get a hold of. He contracted out the enclosure and there were plans available within about 4 weeks. There were never plans developed for the deck that the Enclosure would be assembled on. He tried to pass inspection without plans and both inspectors for the city told him he needed to submit plans. I had to go out and contract an engineer to develop plans and submit to the city for a permit. I took them to the city and got the plans approved and a permit. I told Isaac he needed to send a crew over to build the deck per plans. Since the 2 previous decks were built without plans and permit they had to be removed. Isaac said if I wanted the job finished I would have to pay an additional $15k. He told me "...Basically I did wrong calculations from the beginning"..."I cant afford to lose $20,000". I had to hire a contractor to finish the deck and pay the remaining balance of the enclose. He is not a professional contractor and is unaware of a lot of the city codes. I also went through 3 windows before he knew what an Egress window was. The main difference was he never had plans and built 2 decks and were not approved by city. This was an approximate cost to Isaac of $10,000 which should not have to fund. NEVER RECOMMEND read more

A friend invited me to her new remodel home in mountain view and let me tell you it was beautiful, the layout of the kitchen and it's choice of marble tiles throughout made the kitchen look alive! very very nice! We been having many previous conversations while the remodeling was going on her home and the company or contractor who she said was from Level Up Home Remodeling. She said when they were going over what they wanted they took it and did it to the last detail. I really didn't expect the results to look the way it did and for the price they paid it made it even more fabulous! I must say it is really hard to find a good contractor who would remodel your home to your specifications and not leaving out any details of what you want within a good and reasonable price. If you seen how her home used to look before not that it wasn't already nice but after the remodeling you would say wow to her new home. One of the new bathrooms was done when the lights are turned on the tiles look blue and it is so nice with the separate huge shower with a blue grey marble tile throughout and so much shelve space to put everything from shampoos & conditions to body baths and even different kinds of shower decorations to give an exciting look and a large jacuzzi tub yes it is beautiful it is. Wow I just can't say enough about this company! (ignoring the fact that we became very close friends) After much consideration we chose Level Up home remodeling to remodel our kitchen. Our new kitchen, consisted of new custom cabinets, quartz counter tops, mosaic back-splash and tile flooring. With any concern or question we had Ellie and Nir were always there to answer questions. Their tile work and grouting turned out stunning! The tile guy was extremely fast and diligently. The finished kitchen seems straight out of a magazine. I absolutely love it!
