Level 11 is at the top of the Bellwether Hotel. Take the elevator up and you are greeted by a bar - go to the sides and this is where they had seating both longue type and dining. Seating is seat yourself. Most of the seating is very tight/narrow and is about as wide as a hallway. The longue area is a bit bigger and more spacious but not great views of the beach or sunset. Bathrooms are by the longue area. Come for the sunset views and stay for the drinks/food. If your plan is to come to see the sunset, then you need to get here early in order to get a good seat. Two bars - one in the back by the elevator and one on the other side that faces the beach. There is a ledge type area that allows for more people to stand to look at the beach/sunset. We were told it's best to order your drink/food at the bar and then go sit down to have it brought out to you. Food menu is limited and pricey. We got a crab cake and samba waves (cowboy caviar type dip with wantons). The food was excellent, fresh and good portion size. Drink wise, we were on our babymoon, so I got a mocktail and it was delicious! Bartender made me a raspberry mojito mocktail. The views of the sunset are beautiful considering how high up you are. After the sunset most people got out of there and it was quiet. read more

Yes, I do recommend this place to enjoy the sunset and listen to some music. The turn off is the charge you $4 for ice on your drink without mentioning it to you. My husband ordered two rounds of whiskey on the rocks, so end up paying $8 for ice,l and they're not even the big ice cube. Just order beers and you're good. read more

We stopped by for sunset and enjoyed walking around the full circle to take in the ocean and bay views. Take the elevator in the lobby up to level 11 or go to Spinners on floor 12 and then walk down. Restaurant parking is down a ramp to the left by the hotel's entrance. read more

Best view in St Pete Beach!! We wandered up here by chance and I'm so glad we did. There isn't really anywhere to park so I'd Uber or walk. Once you head inside the hotel it's a short elevator ride up to the 11th floor. You enter the elevator but take the steps down to the rooftop and wow! The view is stunning. There's fireplaces and plenty of seating. We were after sunset and we easily grabbed a table. We had a high noons, beer, and an espresso martini and all were priced at what we'd expect for a higher class place like this. Unbeatable views. We just stopped by here to get the wonderful views. We thought about going to Spinners (the spinning restaurant above) but the prices seemed high. So we decided to just have a couple drinks and an appetizer on the Level 11 patio. It was a beautifully breeze evening so we grabbed some cocktails and walked around the 360 patio to look at the ocean and the intracoastal waters. we then found a comfortable seat and decided to order a small app. My mother chose the veggie flat bread. It was a nice little appetizer while enjoying the drinks. The flatbread was loaded with veggies and great tastes of balsamic and pesto. I had a couple of the craft cocktails. I will say they sounded better on paper. Both drinks I had were lacking some flavor and depth, tasted a little watered down. But, they were fine. I would definitely come back here for drinks. The atmosphere seems like it would make for a great club vibe. It was reminiscent of roof top bars in Vegas. I would love to see it crowded on a Saturday night. read more

We go to St Pete Beach every year and one of the highlights has always been an evening at Level 11. We were again there on May 16 2024. Sat down and no one came to serve us (turned out there were no waiters at all that night). After maybe 20 minutes we figured we were going to have to go the bar to get a drink. Waited in a long line, there were 2 bartenders, finally got drinks and ordered tapas. The food came after about 15 minutes. Wanted another drink and some more food. By now the line was so long it would have been 20-25 minutes just to get to the bar so we left. Drinks start at $14 and the tapas are now very limited and in the $20-30 range for small plates. Sees to me this is really expensive for self-service. I don't what the management is thinking but they have ruined one of the highlights or our annual trip to St Pete Beach. Also we paid $7 for parking. When we left, the parking attendants had no idea they had left our car, they had forgotten to write that on the ticket. So we had to walk around the lots for several minutes clicking our key fob to finally find our car. Jeez! read more

This along is worth the trip, but you'll be suprised to find delicious food at this lovely rooftop setting. We had the scallops....I must say they were very tasty and highly recommend them. We also had the salmon toast. While the salmon was fresh and good...the bread fell short..was a bit soggy....we have had better. Lastly, we had the fish tacos...very yummy. This entire place is bad. The only thing good is the view from 11. Go up for the view then leave. The elevator that barely works is filthy. The restrooms in the lobby are filthy, toilets don't flush, and trash cans were overflowing. We had to exit the elevator on 12 the spinners restaurant which was a disorganized LOUD place the take the step to level 11 where there was no table service and trash blowing around. Was in town for a conference and after walking by this hotel twice, decided to give it a try for some dinner & drinks the last night of our stay (we stayed elsewhere, not at the Grand Plaza). The View: Bay/intercoastal on one side and an ocean view on the other. Would have been great to go during the daytime, or even at sunset. We went around 9pm when it was already dark, so although the moon provided some light over the water, it was hard to see. But I imagine the view is AMAZING! The ambiance is pretty cool, and they were playing good music, for a Saturday night. Tables & chairs and also comfortable lounge seating is available. Two of us had glasses of wine (Pinot) and the third person had 2 Muletinis. To eat, we shared 3 appetizers between us. Food was definitely delicious. FIG & FILET FLATBREAD ($13): seared filet mignon, blue cheese peppercorn béchamel, prosciutto, fresh figs and arugula laced with a pomegranate reduction. CRAB STUFFED SHRIMP ($15): jumbo shrimp filled with lump crab stuffing, melted provolone cheese, finished in a lemon dill beurre blanc and blood orange reduction. SKY SLIDERS ($11): pulled pork roasted in chipotle, raspberries & roasted garlic with BBQ sauce, applewood bacon and white cheddar mac 'n cheese on pretzel rolls. The apps paired with the view make this place worth a visit. Service was meh. Our waiter was nice, and attentive, but when we first sat down, we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come over and I had to ask for menus, and someone to serve us. This is literally my FAVORITE place on Saint Pete beach! My sister discovered it through yelp on our first trip to the area and we have been back several times since! Level 11 is the very top of the plaza hotel, so the location is amazing, I highly recommend watching the sunset here, it's unbelievably beautiful and breathtaking! You can see all of Saint Pete from up there. I do recommend getting there a bit early though if you want to sit to watch the sunset, they seem to fill up right before and it's definitely worth getting there early to have a table around the side where the sun sets so you can see everything from your table. They also serve lunch (?) and dinner up there but we've only been up there for the sunset. Their cheese board is great and I also recommend the duck dumplings they are fantastic. They have a great wine and beer selection as well. We've spent several sunsets sipping on a bottle of wine up there enjoying the view. I highly recommend it if you are in the area!
