I would've given this place 4 stars if it wasn't for the "rough" hours. I've never seen any crime or violence go on here but I notice it's a common "kick it" spot for high schoolers or grown men to come by and smoke some Mary Jane. If you're not down with that, this may not be the spot for you. I usually take the kids and leave when it gets like that. It's an oval shaped park with two little different sized playgrounds surrounded by a fence in the center. And a little concrete lap on the outskirts so that you can walk around. Mornings are usually best. Because there's also daylight. Night time not so good. One time I was walking my dog and discovered a homeless man sleeping in the playground .
