Spane Park is a must-see site; we had an amazing day there. We left our fishing gear and when we returned, everything was already set up. My granddaughters, ages 5 and 9, had a great time on their first fishing trip. Seeing families enjoying outdoor times in the park makes me nostalgic, and I wish my family had enjoyed such moments with me when I was younger. Congratulations to the parents for providing such treasured memories for their children. We will undoubtedly return. read more

This is a nice little park right off of Rosecrans Ave near the 710. It has a playground, 2 basketball hoops, a softball diamond, a small fishing pond and stream with a meandering walking path, and public restrooms. The pond was a little clogged with algae and the restrooms were gross, but the park is very clean, has plenty of benches and some tables, and plenty of green. The park is on the small side considering all the facilities here. There was a locked gate halfway through the walking path that was not unlocked for some reason so I had no choice but to just turn around and go back the way I came. On Fridays at 4:00PM a fishing club meets and fishes at the pond. They even have lessons for the novices. Once you've attended a meeting you can go on their fishing adventures throughout the area. Overall I am impressed with this park despite it's short comings, and plan on using these facilities again. Nice, clean park with lots to do! Great for families! They have a basketball court, a baseball field, playground, a pond with ducks, fishing, a walking trail and recreational center. The pond is fenced off, and closed for the fishing club Friday's 3- 5pm. There they a good walking trai that takes you around the rest of the park. You get a work our from the hills. Playground has lots of fun equipment and activities, from jumping to climbing, see-sawing and sliding. Lots of trees! It's 81 degrees but you can't really feel the heat under the trees. Definitely a good park to go to! read more

Nice beautiful park. It's an open park, with a little pond. I honesty felt a little weird being there, there were only men in the park. I felt a little uncomfortable, since there was a van unloading a lot of men. Other wise the park it self was nice, it needs more shade. read more
