The runner's track is clear of debris and exclusively for runners, as indicated by signs. Parking is limited in the designated area, prompting some visitors to park on shaded streets nearby. While there are no public restrooms, two porta-potties are available. Throughout the park, you'll find numerous workout machines, conveniently located, including those near the porta-potties. With multiple entrances, this park is easily accessible, and due to its proximity to a residential area, you might encounter a cat or two. It's worth noting that during my visit, I observed a homeless man sleeping inside the park. Despite this, the park is generally well-kept, although there is an issue with feces in certain areas. On a positive note, there's a Little Free Library near the parking lot, promoting the sharing of books provided by a nonprofit. Operating hours are from 7 AM to 8 PM, ensuring a peaceful environment. Personally, I find the park enjoyable, especially for exercise, though the experience may vary depending on the time and day of your visit. OH and there is a volleyball court sitting on top of sand.

The only downside I have to mention is that recreational football and soccer teams frequently visit for practice, which the park is not set up for. It's quite small and should not be utilized as a sport practice meet up. This is what deters me from visiting more frequently. Parking fills up, balls are flying every which way, and it can get quite noisy. Not my ideal setting for some relaxing cardio. I still recommend this park, as the city of Paramount takes great care and it is regularly maintained nice and clean.

The dog park is located toward the corner end of the park near the end of the parking lot and is split into two sections, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. There is not too much to boast about, but they do provide a water fountain for dogs and doggy bags for cleanup, which is nice. The area itself is fairly small, with only one bench and one tree that provides little to no shade. I do like that it has grass, but even though it is still a new dog park, there are already patches where the soil is showing through. Overall, it is a decent spot for a quick visit or short play session, but I personally would not choose it for a longer stay with my dog. We will definitely be returning to Home Run Dog Park once it reopens.

There's a lot of sidewalk & other concrete areas for that. Then we noticed that the splash pad was on... I didn't even know that there was one at this park. Lol. It's kiddie size, but on a hot July day, kids don't care! While there is definitely room for improvement and maintenance could be better, this is still a good place to let off some steam. The adults at the skate park were very patient & helpful with my 9-year-old on her skateboard. The bowl was on the tough side for her, a beginner. Thanks crew! Most of the people wound up on the grass to have lunch. I didn't move fast enough and was all sunburned going home. On some Saturdays during the summer they have games, crafts, and activities. That was a pleasant surprise. The park itself and bathrooms were pretty clean. You might want to bring your own grill cleaner and table cloths.
