I really love this place. Nice spots to picnic. Nice trails. It says no dogs but everyone has a doc there. It's a big park. Restrooms close early. I say 5pm or so.the trail is like a forest. It's lovely. My only con is lot of flying bugs in the day and big Ass spiders at night. All over. Webs from those spiders. You can't see them unless the light hits the web. No flying bugs at night. I think they like the heat. IDK. I still really like this park. Paramount really did something great for our community. I wish they had fish but that's just me. It's s must go. (If you like nature or working out. Even just a picnic. It's grand..

Really nice park to come and hang out. Good trails to run in, or walk. Has slides and swings for kids, and also had a small outside gym for adults to work out. If you want to play sports, there's a huge field to play in. I walk through here almost every day and feel safe to do so. Good park to come and hangout.

Park is clean and the playground has lots of things for your littles to do here. It's usually not busy so that's very nice aswell. (:

Such a beautiful and lonely park! I love to come here to watch the sunset. And it's just so peaceful. Definitely a park you should go to.

Cool little spot out of the way of the river bed close to the house next to a place with workout stuff works for me.

The park also has access to the LA River Bikepath, just FYI the park gates to and from the bike path close at dusk.

The park facilities include athletic fields, picnic facilities, a playground, and various courts for small ball games. Some city buildings also call the park home, part of the complex that includes the swimming pool/YMCA facility. During my visit, the whole southern part of the park was fenced-off near the elementary school for some kind of construction project or maybe just equipment storage? Location near busy Bellflower Blvd. and Rosecrans makes at least part of this park a little scary with the speeding cars and interesting visitors. I happened upon the remnants of a candlelight vigil held for a fallen comrade, complete with RIP written in dripped wax on a picnic table. Nevermind that dripping wax on a picnic table in a public park is a real classy move, but condolences to the family and friends of the fallen. Still, a nice wide open green space with plenty of shade trees if you want em. Anyway, I don't come here a lot, and don't live close to here, so no harm no foul. Occasionally sit here under a big shade structure waiting for my kid's swim events, and then put this place in the rearview.

The runner's track is clear of debris and exclusively for runners, as indicated by signs. Parking is limited in the designated area, prompting some visitors to park on shaded streets nearby. While there are no public restrooms, two porta-potties are available. Throughout the park, you'll find numerous workout machines, conveniently located, including those near the porta-potties. With multiple entrances, this park is easily accessible, and due to its proximity to a residential area, you might encounter a cat or two. It's worth noting that during my visit, I observed a homeless man sleeping inside the park. Despite this, the park is generally well-kept, although there is an issue with feces in certain areas. On a positive note, there's a Little Free Library near the parking lot, promoting the sharing of books provided by a nonprofit. Operating hours are from 7 AM to 8 PM, ensuring a peaceful environment. Personally, I find the park enjoyable, especially for exercise, though the experience may vary depending on the time and day of your visit. OH and there is a volleyball court sitting on top of sand.

The only downside I have to mention is that recreational football and soccer teams frequently visit for practice, which the park is not set up for. It's quite small and should not be utilized as a sport practice meet up. This is what deters me from visiting more frequently. Parking fills up, balls are flying every which way, and it can get quite noisy. Not my ideal setting for some relaxing cardio. I still recommend this park, as the city of Paramount takes great care and it is regularly maintained nice and clean.
