Found Let's Roll Ice Cream on a whim because their one of the very few places open late on a week day. It was actually pretty busy for 9:30 on a Monday. Insides the restaurant wasn't anything special and something must have been doing on with the plumbing because it smelled really bad. I think there were only two employees and mostly only saw one up front which is tough because with the way the ice cream is made we had to wait a long time to get our ice cream. But it was worth it. It was AMAZING! We all tried each others ice cream and I don't think we could've gone wrong with a choice. If this place could fix up their interior design & get a couple more employees I think they'd be packed all the time! It's very good and a definitely should try. read more

Not a great experience here. We were excited to try their new "Hot Bun Ice Cream Sandwich". The photos made it seem like ice cream would be sandwiched between sweet buns or a donut-consistency bread - however, it looked nothing like the photos, and it seems that they actually used hamburger buns, which smelled pretty bad. On top of this, they left the ice cream sandwich in the sandwich press for a few minutes, so the ice cream significantly melted before we even got it. Finally, they charged extra for a tiny amount of canned whipped cream to be added on top without informing us first it would be an extra charge. We will not be back. read more

Super disappointing. I brought my two children in for a quick dessert and everything we got was mediocre. I got a cookies and crème milkshake and it hardly had any Oreos, my butter pecan milkshake was made with Walmart Maple Syrup. My children got cotton candy and birthday cake and both were disappointed in what they received. My son said his ice cream just tasted like plain vanilla and he received the wrong toppings. None of us even finished our ice cream. $35 wasted. For the price I would think higher quality ingredients would be used. Won't be back! :( read more

It took so long for this ice cream to come out on a Friday night that I don't want to like this place...but it's just so good! The service was friendly and apologetic, which I appreciate. The rolled ice cream was awesome. I love the way they decorate with candy and chocolate, sending this dessert over the top. This is a treat for sure and one that I found myself coming back for 2 days in a row. Parking can be tricky at night, as this lot is shared with other businesses and busy restaurants. Overall it was really good, except the lychee was forgotten about. Had to knock down a star because on my friend's, they forgot the chocolate drizzle. The place is quite busy with constant flow. There is no "catching up" for the staff as they crank one out, get two more orders. The staff is quick though so from order to delivery, was only about 7-10 minutes. They are very nice and polite, but if you're expecting the happy-go-lucky smiles from establishments like Chic-Fil-A, you may want to skip this place. The staff seems to be all Punjab, which is not bad; it just means the staff is focused on delivering items more than chit chatting with customers. To help pass time for families, they have card and board games available to use, which I saw many groups take up the opportunity on. This is not a traditional ice cream joint. The base ice cream is actually a heavy cream that is poured "crepe-style" onto a cold surface which freezes the cream. Spatula then pries from one end to the other to give it a "roll." It is unique, but when eating, the rolls become logs as the separation does close up and makes the ice cream harder to scoop (and as a result is how I sent half of my wafer flying across the room). It's worth the drive from Dallas! Ice cream: You can either get the rolled ice cream or regular scoops. They also have milkshakes. So, there really is something for everyone! The only thing is, they don't have a ton of GF/soy free or special diet foods. However, if you're not a special diet person, it's grand :) We got the strawberry shawty and split it (there is plenty!) and it was AMAZING! Inside: They play top 40 music inside which is fairly loud at night, but not so loud you can't have a conversation. There are both high top tables and regular tables. It may be a slightly tight fit for larger (6+) groups, but you can make it work. The restrooms are gender neutral which is a win. Extras: They provide board games for you and your friends to play!
