Went there to celebrate my boyfriend's bday and it was not what I expected at all. If I am paying $300 for two I'm expecting good service and good food. The host was honestly the best thing there, when we walked in I told her we were celebrating a birthday if they could please bring out a candle with the dessert and she said "no problem, I already see it in our system" great. Once we sat down it took the waitress about 20minutes to take our order, other than the fact she had an attitude most of the time and barely came around asking if we needed anything else. We saw everyone else get bread with butter to start off and we had to ask another waitress to please bring us some because our waitress had not bothered. Once we got the bread the butter was extremely melted pure liquid. We ordered the bacon to start which was okay but a bit too sweet for our taste. We ordered the porterhouse for two (medium) once we got the steak it was more on the rare side and had barely any flavor. For sides we got the truffles fries and Mac and cheese which were good. Once our waitress FINALLY decided to come by and ask if we wanted some dessert we chose the apple one and once we received it I expected the candle to celebrate my bf but nope we never got it. 4.5 stars! My cousin and I headed to Let's Meat Steakhouse to enjoy some live music in their bar room. I had wanted to try their food for quite some time, so I was thrilled that we could order the full menu from the tables in that area. That side room was mainly filled by the bar, but there were some regular and high-top tables scattered around the perimeter. We sat at a high-top, which had extremely comfortable chairs. Our server was an absolute delight, and the acoustic musician was excellent. My Strawberry Basil-Infused Aperol Spritz was slightly sweeter than the traditional version, which helped balance out its standard bitterness. It was a genius idea! I was not super hungry, so I only ordered the Sicilian Octopus appetizer. Well, it wound up being very filling and extremely delicious! The large bowl included sliced tentacles, a variety of different colored potatoes, Kalamata olives, and baby greens, all in a Banyuls wine vinaigrette. The octopus was tender and delicate, with just a hint of char on its exterior. Its accompaniments were perfect flavor complements. It was a fantastic first visit to Let's Meat, and I cannot wait to go back to try a full meal in their dining room. read more

Here on yelp it's says the hours are Tuesday- Saturday 5:30-10:00 and Sunday 11:30 - 6:00pm on there Website it say Tuesday-Saturday 4-10pm and Sunday 4-9pm ! I sent friends there on a Sunday at 4:45pm figuring they either just opened or will be open till 6pm but my friends said they were closed- I had a large party that was looking for a good steak house in the area I told them about this place so they checked out their social media! Their instagram was non existent, their Facebook link from the webpage went to some random guys name Jonnie Prestos page on facebook promoting Aura club in Hackensack, and the twitter thing age / X only had posts from years ago. So I'm not sure if this place is closed, closing, or what - If this is a serious business and steakhouse my suggestion would be to treat it as such or you will not be able to compete with the ones that are on top of their game! Really nice treat for a night out. This is our first time in since they moved to the new location. Nice decor and vibe. The staff is really exceptional. Patient, gracious, and knowledgeable. Let's Meat was an absolutely fantastic location to celebrate my 34th birthday last night! From start to finish the meal was delicious and the staff was beyond wonderful, especially our waiter Gabe! The ambiance in the restaurant is very inviting with dim lighting and it had a super chill vibe throughout the entire restaurant. We were sat in the back of the restaurant at a nice large round table and placed our drink orders and looked over the menu. Our waiter helped us pick out some appetizers to start off with such as the brussel sprouts, escargot, oysters, bacon and fried calamari. The apps were all delicious but that bacon was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend everyone ordering it. The calamari was really good and the dipping sauce had a nice little heat to it. We all ended up ordering the filet for dinner. We got mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, broccoli rabe, and French fries. All of the sides were amazingly delicious. The steaks were all cooked to perfection and the sauces were phenomenal. I really loved the bernaise sauce the best! I was so stuffed by the end of dinner but we still ordered desserts to share. We ordered the lava cake, tiramisu and a few affogatos. The waiters were so sweet and sang happy birthday to me and it was the end to a great birthday evening! My wife and I had a wonderful dinner out here, which was immensely appreciated as we do not have these often anymore! From drinks to dessert everything was delicious. Two waiters attended to our table and they were quite good at the subtle upsell. Did I need dessert? No. Did I get talked into it? Absolutely. We tried something new and split the porterhouse for two. Cooked to perfection, it was complimented nicely by the house steak sauce. We ordered a flight of all four of their sauces, and the house sauce was the clear winner. The broccoli rabe and creamed spinach sides also pleased with every bite. Looking the cocktail menu, The Booster got a hearty laugh out of me. It was the margarita though that I ordered. The infused tequila added a unique flavor to the drink. I continued the cocktail streak with an espresso martini for dessert. They did not rely solely on espresso flavored liquor for this one; it included a fresh brewed espresso as well. Well worth it. Another amazing celebration at Let's Meat! Our server was super attentive and friendly. The food came out in a timely manner and everything was delicious. The oysters were so fresh and perfectly prepared. Not pictured is the crab cake we also had as a starter - what ever the aioli was made of was scrumptious. The only reason I can't give five stars is my steak. I ordered my filet medium rare, but it came out rare and slightly cool to the touch, but everything tasted good, so I didn't send it back. We always get Old Fashioneds when we go to steak houses and these were fantastic! We will definitely be back! read more

The dynamite sushi roll was simply amazing, however, I would not recommend the lobster pasta as it was somewhat bland (I should have guessed that being it is a steak house and sushi restaurant). Two friends and I came here for dinner and we shared the sushi roll as an appetizer and then shared the entrees: lobster pasta, scallops, and a cheeseburger. I went here over the weekend, and the parking lot was filled with cars! The restaurant was pretty large and people were spread out, so it didn't feel too crowded inside. For appetizers, we ordered half a dozen oysters, a wedge salad, burrata and prosciutto, and pan seared octopus. Out of the appetizers we ordered, I thought the oysters were the best. The wedge salad also tasted great, but I wouldn't really classify it as a wedge salad as it was served in the form of a normal salad. The octopus was okay, not great and I found the burrata salad to be overdressed. We ordered a grilled salmon and porterhouse as our mains and creamed spinach and mashed potatoes as our sides. The main dishes and sides were great! The steak was well seasoned and well cooked and the salmon is a great option for anyone who doesn't prefer red meat. The sides were great as well- the mashed potato was especially good. I will note that the service is a bit of a hit or miss. There seems to be staff members who might still be in training and were a bit confused with our order. However, there are also some great waiters that we met, including one named David, who was very kind and attentive. Overall, I would recommend coming. I think it is a good option in New Jersey for a special occasion and would come again. read more

My wife had the margarita with passion fruit and jalapeño and it was out of this world. The service of the staff was remarkable. Every single person was smiling and ready to help. Their covid protocols had us feeling Completely safe. The ambience was chic and upbeat. The place overall was above any expectations I could have thought of. Cooked perfectly to temp (medium) great flavor and great sear. Everything else was around 4 stars out of 5 in itself. Wow -what happened to this place! We have been eager to check out the new place, after what was an awesome experience the first time we went, a few years ago. We had dinner at the new place the Saturday night of Father's Day weekend and it was unbelievably bad. First, we are greeted by a team of "trainees." Now, we all have to start somewhere, but is dinner on a Saturday night the best time to let the rookies loose? As a result, our service was literally amateur hour all night. In fact, SO many of these servers in training stepped up to our table, it was impossible to tell who our actual server was. Appetizers came out super fast, like 5 minutes fast. The Octopus had a strange burnt flavor. 45 minutes later and no entrees, despite at least 4 different people telling us, "it's coming right out." During this long wait, one of our trainees stepped up and started laying down small plates "for our appetizers." Wow. Finally the food arrives and the Porterhouse for two is stone cold. Not room temp, but stone cold. See my earlier review and note how I mentioned this same dish came out "sizzling." It was obviously sitting for a while in the kitchen. Someone else ordered a fish dish and it was so hot it was initially inedible. The once delicious Porterhouse for two had no flavor at all. I have made better steaks at home for less than half the price. Uncoordinated service and underwhelming food is not the correct answer at these prices! Disappointed, we left to get our car from the valet (the car incidentally, was parked on a residential side street because the actual valet lot is too small.) Just when you think things can't get worse, the valet guy proceeds to fetch the wrong car. Get it together folks - this place ain't cheap and there are plenty of other options. read more

Went to the new location in River Vale after visiting and loving the Harrington Park location last year. We sat outside - they had a great set up and a big crowd. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our requested medium-rare, but this time lacked the char and dry-aged flavor it had when I went a year ago in Harrington Park. I'm not sure these are still dry-aged cuts, even though they're advertised as such. Maybe there's a new chef, I'm not sure. The wait staff was also pretty slow/forgetful. We barely got any water throughout the night and I had to ask repeatedly for my bottle of wine to be opened. I will give them a bit of a handicap since we're operating in Covid times. The highlight for me was the bacon. It had the best flavor of all the meat I tried (but I came for the steak). I'll be back at some point. Definitely don't overlook this place, I just hope they get back to what I experienced last time. read more

Let's Meat is the perfect spot for a date night! This cute steak house has great ambiance and great flavor. We have been here before so we knew the quality of the steaks was good. Pete is a great mixologist and we tried two of their specialty drinks. One was a maple old fashioned, that had a cute little pancake as a garnish. Mine was called doctors zhaos monster and had a hint of sweetness with pomegranate seed in it. For appetizers we had the Brussels sprouts and the seafood tower. If you have a chance to eat the Brussels sprouts don't miss it, it's bursting flavor and was unexpected. For entrees we had the lamb chops and a filet Mignon with foie gras. The side were Mac and cheese and truffle Parmesan fries. You really can't wrong ordering any of their meats. Packed with flavor without having to use tons of butter or sides. First time here. My partner and I love a good steak. Unfortunately for our first time here this place did not do it for us. When Steak arrived it had to be returned - it was not cooked Med Rare. It was Very Rare also, .. The steak did not have a nice color. It almost looked a bit gray . And unfortunately the taste of a good steak was not there. Very sorry to say this to all the Let's Meat lovers, but I was extremely disappointed last night. We came here to have a nice meal and drinks, and since it was new to us, I really read into the reviews before making a reservation. I saw a few that were not so great but since a majority were raving, we decided to give this place a try (and I was very excited). First off, I gave two stars instead of one star because the server was very sweet and the drinks were delicious. We ordered the spicy calamari for appetizers and that was pretty good as well (I did think th calamari was a little big, but the taste was pretty good). My review is because of the actual meals. My husband got a NY Strip with lobster tail and a side of Yuka fries. I got a filet with lobster tail and sweet plantines (maduros). I wanted to order a loaded baked potato but the server told me there's a new chef and he doesn't do loaded baked potatoes (confusing) but that's fine. (1) My husband's lobster came semi-detached, sitting on top of the shell (as it usually should be) and mine came inside...stuck inside. It took me a good minute or two to try to pry it out of the shell which was annoying (I've never seen it like that before, and we go to other steakhouses very often). The taste was super fishy and chewy. I had to drown it in the melted butter to eat it, and he said the same. (2) We both ordered medium rare for our steaks. My husband's came medium, mine came medium rare (but wait...)... The first few bites of my steak were delicious (the outside was a little charred but I actually like it like that), and as I got to the middle of the filet...the center was cool, almost cold. Again, we go to steakhouses often and this was concerning to me. I ate all around the outsides of the steak and left the center because eating a cold rare steak isn't my cup of tea, I had s very hard time eating it. My husband was fine, lacked some flavor but disappointed it wasn't the temperature he asked for. (3) The sides were fine, the maduros were pretty dry, but the Yuka fries were good. Overall, I'm disappointed in my dining experience at Let's Meat. I honestly feel it was too overpriced for what we got. Our total for two was $270 (plus tip). Honestly, wasn't worth the $300+ we paid last night. You can tell a majority of the people dining were regulars (older crowd) and even the music wasn't that great (they were playing songs like YMCA lol). Good Local BYOB Steakhouse! Prices are rather steep for what you get. The Lobster Bisque was good to me, but my wife felt it was salty and she bit a shell. The stuffed clams were disappointing a little undercooked, and you only get 4 clams for $18. I wont be ordering that again. The steaks were excellent but once again pricey. We ordered the Ribeye and the Porterhouse for two. Both steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We ordered the bearnaise sauce which was not prepared properly and tasted more like a hollandaise. However on the bright side, the steaks didnt need it. The salt flight was a nice touch which we all enjoyed. They also serve a thin crust pizza which was nice and crisp but on the smaller side. I the service was friendly but not as attentive as a NYC restaurant. If they want to charge NYC prices they need to step up their game. read more

We were looking forward to our visit. On arrival, the restaurant was beautiful with a different but inviting decor. We were on the early side so the place was empty. The cocktails were great, although they took too long to arrive. While perusing the menu, another group arrived and was seated right next to us, although there was literally no one else in the place. Not an issue. We had the bacon steak which was decadent and delicious. We ordered the porterhouse for two and asked for medium rare plus. Our server said no such thing. We said medium which would be a pink center, to which we agreed. We were presented with a well done steak, little to no pink and grey. When the issue was presented, the manager came over who said what do you want me to do? We said we just wanted a medium steak. He said enjoy and left. The atmosphere and service were great.
