Haleiwa Palm Cosmetic Bag and Handbag (exclusive to Hawaii) - VN
    Vince N.

Founded in 1974 in the USA by Melvin & Sandy Schifter, LeSportsac started out by selling luggage. Today, their product line has expanded to include numerous styles of handbags, totes, backpacks and accessories for both men and women all finished with natural and synthetic materials. Looking for something is leather? You're in the wrong store. EXPERIENCE: We popped into the Ala Moana store to pick out something for my mom for Christmas. I personally don't care for their goods but this wasn't for me! I wish I had gotten the sales associate's name as her service was the utmost professional from any store I've been to outside of Louis Vuitton. She greeted us immediately and told of us of current sale specials and exclusive-to-Hawaii products. We chose a matching purse ($59) and cosmetic bag ($22) in black with pink and sea glass green palm prints. FUN FACT: The only brick and mortar LeSportsac stores in the USA are located on Oahu at Ala Moana Center, Royal Hawaiian Center and Waikele Outlets. Canada, Philippines and Indonesia also have physical locations. The rest of the world must purchase their products online.

    50 percent off!
    Nadine C.

Shopping at Ala Moana Center... I really wasn't going to buy anything. I left my purse in the car to make it more inconvenient for impulsive purchases. When I decide to go and get my wallet, it's usually a sign of a good deal. Originally, I was looking for the studded yellow Starbucks tumbler. The Macy's location had sold out quickly, so, as I was walking back to my car, I decided to browse Le Sportsac. I had recently purchased Hello Kitty and BTS items from the Le Sportsac at Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki. That was a 50 percent off sale, too. However, this Ala Moana location is larger and seems to have more selection. For example, Ala Moana Le Sportsac had rolling luggage at 70 percent off. Gosh. How can I resist? It's lightweight, durable, water resistant, and of good quality. Now to choose from three designs... Hmmm... The helpful Sales Associate, Connie, showed me how the matching tote bag had a zipper on the back which allows the handle of the rolling luggage to be inserted so the tote bag rests securely on the luggage... Wow! I also had to get something Hello Kitty and something BT21 since they were 50 percent off! Pouches, wallets, and coin purses are so useful and are excellent gifts! I'll probably go back tomorrow because my friend in California saw my Facebook and Instagram posts and she wants some merchandise! LOL! She has good taste! Note: park by Macy's on the makai side by Morton's and the gigantic Santa Claus P.S. check out the exclusive Hawaii prints, Barbie items, and Coca-Cola collection!

Awesome customer service! Good quality products. I love how the bags are made well and very lightweight.

I was really excited to find out through instagram that Le Sportsac will be carrying Line Friends BT21 merchandise. BT21 characters were created by the BTS Members who are Kim Nam Joon "RM", Jeon Jung Kook, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung "V" , Min Yoongi "Suga", Jung Hoseok "J-Hope", and Kim Seok Jin "Jin". I love all 8 characters who are Koya by RM, Cooky by Jung Kook, Chimmy the dog by Jimin, Tata by V, Shooky the chocolate chip cookie by Suga, Mang the horse by Hoseok, and RJ the alpaca by Jin, and Van the protector by RM. BT21 merchandise comes in 3 colors with all characters except for square cosmetic that has each individual character can be found at https://www.lesportsac.com/collections/bt21-lesportsac On Friday, November 27, my 1st Le Sportsac Classic purchase was a Carson backpack $120.00 and ID card case $25.00. Per employee, there is no refunds on merchandise only exchange. Per a female customer in store, she said Le Sportac cannot be shipped to Hawaii so sad.

This store has such an awesome location, next to Macy's and the Apple store and under the new Olive Garden. I was on a mission to go to another store in the area but was tempted by the 70% sale signs. I'm so glad I stopped by. They have such cute prints. Lesportsac bags are actually very affordable. Today I bought a large duffle, tote, back pack and cosmetics bag for less then $150 total. Insane deals. Please stop by and ask for Connie, she was so helpful to me.

Very nice sales lady modeling for my moms new bag

Went in here looking for a bag for my moms birthday present. The sales lady was very helpful! She even let me take pictures of her wearing the bags so my mom can decide if she likes that bag!Definitely a good first impression! Kinda surprised that she even came up to me to help me. I know they are very popular with the Japanese tourists and I obviously look like a local japanese person, so I wasn't expecting to be helped like that. 10/10 better than when I was at LV for sure !

No signage that lets you know 1) this store is a separate entity from the national LeSportsac or 2) their rigid no refund policy.

The whole store is made up of Hawaiian themed merchandise. There were jewelry, cards, body care items and tons of clothes. They have some really cute items. I went in and out of the dressing rooms a few times while trying on outfits, and none of them had a basket or spot for purses. Each time I had to hang my handbag on a hanger with the clothes, since I refuse to put my handbag on the dirty ground. Finally, the very last dressing room I tried did have a basket at the bottom, which was much better. The clothing and jewelry are adorable -- some even look handmade -- and I did buy a few outfits and a cute pair of earrings. Prices are on the higher side, but the pieces are unique and eye-catching, so if you're looking for something different, it might be worth it. Unfortunately, checkout brought the experience down. Since I didn't need a bag, the sales associate handed me my clothes directly, but forgot my earrings. I didn't notice until I was halfway home. I tried looking everywhere for a phone number -- Yelp, the Ala Moana directory, the internet -- and couldn't find one. The only number I found just rang with no answer. So instead of calling, I had no choice but to drive all the way back through traffic. When I arrived, the sales associate saw me, handed me the earring, and said she was "going to text me." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience" -- nothing. Considering they have my number from the rewards program sign-up, that was disappointing. Overall, Sugar Sugar is a cute boutique with stylish pieces, but expect boutique pricing and limited dressing room amenities. The service could use improvement, especially when mistakes happen.
