The clothes themselves seem to be made of high quality materials. The appearance of the clothing items there seems nice as well, and the sale prices are incredibly low, so low that it makes you feel a little guilty for buying such nice items for so little money. Curious, I entered the spacious, bright, well air-conditioned, tidy shop. I saw clothing by Kini Zamora... he is a designer from Hawaii that was on Project Runway. I thought: i wonder if I can get an outfit? The dresses that I liked weren't in my size... hmmm... I'll look again later... There were some funny stickers... they were sold out. I almost got a cute Power Puff Girl sticker... and Kawaii Supaerman sticker... LOL! I liked the tote bags, stationary, accessories like costume jewelry, local fragrances, Hawaiian themed t-shirts, pet supplies, etc. A worker asked if I needed help because I was going back and forth. I told him that there's so many things to look at... I wasn't going in an organized pattern through the store! He laughed and said that there's so much that he doesn't even know exactly what they have! After that visit was over, mom (and her military ID) was willing to go to the MEX (Marine Corps Exchange). It was challenging to find - even with GPS. We parked in the back, walked through the Mokapu Mall and entered from a side door. I think the main entrance is actually behind McDonald's... haha! Anyway, we finally found it and only had time to look though the women's department. I found a top for about 75 percent off! Mom found a pair of pants that she liked. I also got a Hawaiian print dress that was "regular price". On the outside, it would be really expensive. The MEX is smaller than the NEX (Navy Exchange). It looked like it had similar merchandise - except for the Marine Corps logo items! We'll probably be back to explore again. It was less crowded than the NEX!

There are so many gift bags, greeting cards, cellophane wrap, stickers, artificial flowers, etc. Service is very hhelpful and friendly! Staff pointed out specials. For example, I was just going to get 10 gift bags. The cost per bag is lower if i get 12 bags... thank you! Everything is high quality and the prints are cute! If the second right hand turn from the freeway leads you to the Outlet, Waikele Center is the first right turn after you exit the freeway. Waikele Center is probably known most for its McDonald's, Starbucks, Party City, and Lowe's. There are food trucks towards the back. They're visible from the freeway. I was there for the new Hawaii State Federal Credit Union inside of the Safeway that's next to Old Navy Outlet. I walked across the property to Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union between Coldwell Banker Realty and Local Motion. This was a good learning experience! I remember that the traffic pattern is kind of complex. It's basically one way in and one way out. Just be patient because getting out might take a while...

That's not the only reason why though. I mean, getting steps while doing some retail therapy is great, but not when there isn't a safe way to do so. There should be sidewalks or clear pathways to all parts of the property you want the guests to visit. Not exactly the case here. I don't know if the trolley still runs, but I know there was one at some point and it would bring guests to all parts of the property. My favorite shop used to be the pet store, that's long gone... Now I visit the Taste Tea truck and Safeway more than anything. There are eateries like McDonalds, KFC, Genki Sushi, Baskin Robbins, etc... That reminds me, I have been meaning to visit Kunis for years now and still haven't gotten around to it! I'll make it there some day... On my most recent visit, I saw they were planning to open a Sephora. That'll be nice. I would honestly like to see more stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshalls. I know there are those stores in nearby locations. But there are 3 Starbucks locations in Mililani and no ones complaining. Us women like more retail options!
