Shopping, dining, and banking in Waikele, O'ahu, Hawaii…read more.. I didn't really know that this Shopping area was called Waikele Center. It's located across from the Waikele Premium Outlet. If the second right hand turn from the freeway leads you to the Outlet, Waikele Center is the first right turn after you exit the freeway. Waikele Center is probably known most for its McDonald's, Starbucks, Party City, and Lowe's. There are food trucks towards the back. They're visible from the freeway. I was there for the new Hawaii State Federal Credit Union inside of the Safeway that's next to Old Navy Outlet. I walked across the property to Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union between Coldwell Banker Realty and Local Motion. This was a good learning experience! I remember that the traffic pattern is kind of complex. It's basically one way in and one way out. Just be patient because getting out might take a while...

I've always liked visiting Waikele. Its always been convenient for me to visit no matter where we…read morelived. The only thing I don't like about Waikele is how wide spread everything is... That's not the only reason why though. I mean, getting steps while doing some retail therapy is great, but not when there isn't a safe way to do so. There should be sidewalks or clear pathways to all parts of the property you want the guests to visit. Not exactly the case here. I don't know if the trolley still runs, but I know there was one at some point and it would bring guests to all parts of the property. My favorite shop used to be the pet store, that's long gone... Now I visit the Taste Tea truck and Safeway more than anything. There are eateries like McDonalds, KFC, Genki Sushi, Baskin Robbins, etc... That reminds me, I have been meaning to visit Kunis for years now and still haven't gotten around to it! I'll make it there some day... On my most recent visit, I saw they were planning to open a Sephora. That'll be nice. I would honestly like to see more stores like TJ Maxx, Ross, or Marshalls. I know there are those stores in nearby locations. But there are 3 Starbucks locations in Mililani and no ones complaining. Us women like more retail options!

This review is based on the "Eggs-perience the Joy of Easter" event at the Mililani Shopping…read moreCenter. The ad didn't explicitly state the exact location of the event. I had no clue where their center stage was. I checked online and the map/directory didn't have the information either. For future reference, this specific event was held near the Mililani Barber Shop. The person in the "Cotton the Bunny" suit must've been suffering in there because the bunny hardly moved from the chair, barely turned its head and couldn't be bothered to interact with people, let alone wave hello or goodbye. We lined up for their Easter egg hunt which was divided via age groups. We followed the leader to another area of the shopping center and were instructed to visit each shop that had a specific symbol displayed in the storefront. Many businesses were generally too busy with regular, paying customers to be bothered by the event goers (which is understandable). However, we visited a salon that went all out and placed eggs all over their establishment. (If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was LUXE Salon). They set time limits and had a set number of kids enter for each "session." So awesome! There was a very long line for the pony ride and we were cut off when we were almost to the front of the line. How disappointing, but no bother! The petting zoo had bunnies, chickens, goats and even a pig! Also, there was an area where kids could go into the fenced section to pet the chickens. All in all a great time! Highly recommend this event!

It does sit on a very busy intersection for access which can get frustrating when you're heading to a specific direction but know that this is the spot to eat, shop and get things done. Thank you!

Would you expect to find City Mill along side Pink Box and The Face Shop or Hakuyosha, Red Wing Shoes, N&J Nails, Pet Clinic or Pacific Diamond...I honestly didn't think so lol! Sikdorak III, Subway, Jamba, Pho, Pancakes & Waffles and even Paesano is something that got me hungry though I really came here to chill at their Starbucks as this location is a great place to do so as it's spacious with lots of seating. Lots of various parking areas including the ones right beside Starbucks does make it an easy place to swing by and to get a long of shopping or just errands done. Thank you!

So many businesses have left, including, but not limited to, Dave & Busters, Buca di Beppo, Starbucks and Big City Diner, to name a few! Thankfully, there is long time tenant Consolidated Ward theater. Yes, it's a big screen movie theater. The movie seats are worn and somewhat tattered. Oh, but the memories made here watching movies on the big screen! The visual impact and sound system takes it to another dimension! The air conditioning is great during the hot summer months. Parking is still free here! Bathrooms are available for patrons. New and old establishments such as Okayama Kobo Bakery & Cafe, Salon Bobby & Guy, L & L Barbecue and more are hopefully here to stay. Value depends on your budget and your desires lol. I love movies, so I'll still keep coming here. Support local!

Entertainment in Kaka'ako, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. The Ward Entertainment Center is basically a large, three-leveled structure with a covered parking garage attached to it. I mostly come here for the multi-screened Consolidated movie Theater. Other popular places are Big City Diner, Buca di Beppo, Starbucks, and Panda Express on the ground level. Upstairs, next to the theater is Dave & Buster's. Parking is free, except for the valet option which is up the ramp and mainly on weekends. It's best to arrive early. If the parking garage is full, park down the way at Whole Foods or TJ Maxx... In general, I like this Entertainment Center. There's a convenient restroom on the ground floor near the elevator and Big City Diner. The escalator is closer to Buca di Beppo and the theater. The stairs are towards the corner of Auahi and Kamakee Streets near Men's Wearhouse. Enjoy!

Places such as Starbucks, Panda Express, ninja sushi, fat boys, ramen ya, ups store and fantastic sams are some of the establishments that are located within this plaza. This little plaza is packed with so many places to eat and get typical daily errands finished. However, parking and maneuvering in the plaza can be challenging at times, especially around Starbucks and their drive thru area. Luckily there are two points of entrance to the plaza. If your ever in the Waipio area, it's a great place to stop by to get something to eat.

I live in town and rarely in Waipio so I felt a little lost and confused. Plus Google Maps wasn't much help either. As you come off the freeway, after the intersection for Costco, there should be a left turn lane and you'll be able to see Starbucks. If you see 7-11 then you went too far.

If you're not an old timer or if you have not lived on this side, you will usually just refer to this side as "Ewa Beach". This is a small center that has pretty good stores such as: Ewa Seed Company (Shave Ice!) Hele Gas is also associated with this Shopping Center. I've patronized this business several times. Now, I know the name of this Shopping Center... haha... the free parking is much appreciated! I'll be back and I'll visit the other businesses!
