In-between, there are stores like Longs Drugs Store, Petco, Sally Beauty Supply, Rokaru, and Foodland Farms. There are two small buildings across from the long strip of businesses. One building has shops such as Hana Tea and AT&T. The other building with Dunkin on the corner has a nail salon. He took a while to think, but he figured it out! It's not even in Google, but my friends, Rachie, Liza, Malia, and Joyce, wrote reviews for Pearl City Gateway! I've been visiting this shopping center often because Longs, Dunkin', and TJ Maxx are within walking distance of each other. I like this Dunkin because it opens earlier than the Pearlridge location. The monorail has been out of service for so long it makes getting around difficult. Basically the whole idea went down hill. Elevator and escalators are always out of service making it difficult for seniors and disabled people to gain access. A law suit should be addressed for NOT being ADA compliant. In certain area maintenance of debris and leaves and yard waste does not get picked up often enough. Parking lot strips are so faded the markings are hard to see. Lights are not working and visible in some areas. Management needs to be more active and walking the grounds instead of being in the office all day long. Security needs to be out and about roaming and visible more often. Not just watching a camera.

Today, I finally visited The Cosmetics Company Store, and I loved being able to walk around and enjoy the samples. My friend also stopped at Mr. Cow to enjoy a Korean corn dog. We've already come here several times for Starbucks, and of course, this is also a really nice Safeway. I truly love the Waikele area. I find it to be one of the nicer parts of town because it feels clean, relaxing, and full of different places to shop and eat. You also have some higher end stores like Michael Kors, plus a brand new Miniso! Every time I drive through this area, I automatically feel a little bit fancier. LOL. I could honestly see myself living here one day just because of all the places there are to visit, shop, dine, and relax. It reminds me of why I love Kapolei Commons so much. Since I'm usually in Kapolei, that is still my regular area, but I would definitely love to spend more time exploring Waikele too. There are even food vendor trucks in the back, which is such a huge bonus. I absolutely love Leonard's Malasadas! If you go toward the side where Mr. Cow is located, you can also find Korean food trucks. There are so many places here that I still haven't discovered, so please don't mind me. The merchandise manager didn't greet us, didn't offer help locating the item we saw in the window, was incredibly rude and didn't thank us after our purchase. Well it's more of the old school type of mall with a single strip going down a straight line with various biz mostly foodies type are found here but you'll read it's the parking and yes I agree as many of us would rather find the one that's closest to the biz of your choice it's seriously the luck of the moment. Though parking at the very next lane is no different really from the first as it's just a few steps but what really gets me is that it seems like the sun just beams straight down to this area as it's blazing hot which is why it's not my favor spot the does have a slight shade from the building itself but everyone else bakes if you're here for a long period of time. We came for some tea and talked but didn't stay very long and the bathroom situation is pretty much non existent as well. Thanks!

My…read moreinitial visit was craving for corn lol and you can find Corn O'noz in the front but was disappointed to see several folks inside and outside the shop waiting and didn't want to take a chance since I was on a short time constraint. Pearl City is known to have mini Shopping Centers and Pearl City Plaza is no different with lots of free parking though if you don't know finding some of the merchants took me a stroll around the area. They do have nice restrooms as well and is accessible with a key from a shop but there's so much to see here as well with Lucky Penny, Corn O'noz, Button Up Cafe just to name a few but I just had to dash in Lucky Penny since it's a spot that I've been wanting to see. The convenience of free parking does make it easier to visit and support the wonderful local shops and when I have more time would love to revisit Pearl City Plaza since it has so much to offer.
