Shopping and dining in Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. If I ever went to Mililani Marketplace in the past, it was before Yelp, and before I can remember... This Shopping Center is probably most known for Safeway. We visited because of Sakura Restaurant. I had a gift certificate from an Instagram Contest in which First Hawaiian Bank collaborated with small businesses such as Sakura Restaurant. Sakura is a stand-alone business. Everything else is like a strip mall. Luckily, Irene M. knew her way around. We walked over towards Subway, passed Super Cuts and Po Sing Chinese Restaurant, and saw a nail shop around the corner, past Meet Tea. It looks like this Shopping Center has some vacant space. I wonder what was here and what's coming...

Where?... It is one…read moreof the smaller shopping center in Mililani that has Safeway which anchors it and see many come here to shop though my first visit here was for Meet Tea and you need to know because the signs aren't quite that visible and sadly they no longer sell tea (sigh!) but there are a few other biz here like Sakura which is the reason I'm here because lucky Nadine has won an Instagram contest and I was the lucky enough to experience it all. Subway, Super Cuts and a few other services are available here though what I'd come back for is Po Sing Chinese Restaurant as they seem to have some yummy roast pork and plate lunches here that I never knew existed. Lots to explore in Mililani and this shopping center has some spots that I hope will be filled with more biz to keep me coming back. Thank you!

Who's down wid' DEALAGES???…read more Bruddah Fran is gonna be generous & share da 411 with ya. Did ya know on Oahu we actually have an outlet mall? If you're interested in looking to DEALAGES, just head on down to the Westside (in the Waipahu area) because the Waikele Premium Outlet stores is there! There are so many stores here, so when you do visit the Waikele Premium Outlet, hopefully you'll find a store that will appeal for you. As for me, a few of my favorite stores I like to visit is - the Lowe's hardware store, Reyn Spooner, & the Van's shoe store. Beside shopping, the outlet mall also has restaurants, a small food court, & numerous food trucks in the parking lot so finding something yummy to eat shouldn't be too hard. Parking here is a breeze, as the outlet mall has ample parking. If you don't have a car, I noticed a lot of tourist would catch a shuttle to this outlet mall. I guess you just gotta do your homework to see the transportation options before coming down here. Here's a link of the Waikele Outlet Mall - https://www.premiumoutlets.com/outlet/waikele/stores

Shopping and dining in Mililani, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. There's an East Wing and a West Wing for this outdoor Shopping Center. This review is based on the "Eggs-perience the Joy of Easter" event at the Mililani Shopping…read moreCenter. The ad didn't explicitly state the exact location of the event. I had no clue where their center stage was. I checked online and the map/directory didn't have the information either. For future reference, this specific event was held near the Mililani Barber Shop. The person in the "Cotton the Bunny" suit must've been suffering in there because the bunny hardly moved from the chair, barely turned its head and couldn't be bothered to interact with people, let alone wave hello or goodbye. We lined up for their Easter egg hunt which was divided via age groups. We followed the leader to another area of the shopping center and were instructed to visit each shop that had a specific symbol displayed in the storefront. Many businesses were generally too busy with regular, paying customers to be bothered by the event goers (which is understandable). However, we visited a salon that went all out and placed eggs all over their establishment. (If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was LUXE Salon). They set time limits and had a set number of kids enter for each "session." So awesome! There was a very long line for the pony ride and we were cut off when we were almost to the front of the line. How disappointing, but no bother! The petting zoo had bunnies, chickens, goats and even a pig! Also, there was an area where kids could go into the fenced section to pet the chickens. All in all a great time! Highly recommend this event!

Shopping and dining in Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. I didn't know the name of this Shopping Center until Peter Y. told me. I described it as: McDonald's on one end and TJ Maxx on the far end. In-between, there are stores like Longs Drugs Store, Petco, Sally Beauty Supply, Rokaru, and Foodland Farms. There are two small buildings across from the long strip of businesses. One building has shops such as Hana Tea and AT&T. The other building with Dunkin on the corner has a nail salon. He took a while to think, but he figured it out! It's not even in Google, but my friends, Rachie, Liza, Malia, and Joyce, wrote reviews for Pearl City Gateway! I've been visiting this shopping center often because Longs, Dunkin', and TJ Maxx are within walking distance of each other. I like this Dunkin because it opens earlier than the Pearlridge location. Thanks for the great selection of shops and free parking!

The gateway to it all…read more.. From McDonald's to TJ Maxx this shopping center is home to many local favorites all in one area making it a convenient stop to have lunch, shop and even get your pedicure done all with lots of free parking. Located just down the street from Pearl Highlands this lesser known named area is a place that many have been myself included out of convenience as the last time was for Hana Tea with my bestie which later turned to a retail therapy session at TJ Maxx we laughed and reasoned with our choices. One stop shopping is at this great place along with various services not just saves time but supporting various local businesses is always something I do love and they offer that here. Thank you!
