They came when promised and sent me a text reminder the night before. They are my go to company for all things pool.

Technician came twice, first time didn't even look inside heater & second time came with parts for a completely different type of heater & told my husband he wasn't even sure what issue was. Left again to supposedly order a part that wasn't even listed in parts manual. I'm no service tech but I know I can't order a part if I'm not sure what the issue is. Company was quick to run my credit card for $350 deposit but never reached out with updates- I had to call multiple times, ultimately requesting my money back, only to charged $168 for nothing & still don't know what the issue is. Company seems more interested in selling a new heater than helping a loyal customer to fix what could be a simple repair. Definitely will not be using them again.

They overcommunicate in the best way: you have access to everyone's cell phones, they respond promptly, and if you have an issue, they are there instantly. The quality of the work is beyond top tier, and it's clear the entire company is 100% focused on client satisfaction. The only two issues we ran into were self-inflicted on our end. In both cases, Pool Boss was there the next day and fixed them. When I asked for the bill, the answer was, "There is no bill, we just want you to be happy." That tells you everything about how they operate. The team is outstanding: Matt, Dan, Lisa, Joanna, Tyler, Jadyn, William, and the owner, Chris. They define world-class service. If there were a rating above five stars, they would earn it. I wouldn't just say they're highly recommended; I'd say you would be making a huge mistake going with anyone else. I had tried locally (Morris County) to purchase parts for my hot tub and this company is the only one that was helpful. [Pelican staff actually asked me to look for the parts myself in the back of the stock room (while they were eating lunch), but that's for a separate review.] After explaining issues with my heating element and the parts I was looking for, Jill kept me on the phone while she checked stock. In addition, she was calling her service tech on the road to confirm if a particular part was available in his truck. Long story short, there were a few options but keeping the weather in mind for my outside hot tub, Jill was able to help on the quickest and most cost effective way. She really schooled me with her knowledge of the hot tub as well. They are a bit out of the way but I will be utilizing them for all my hot tub needs! Thank you for a great experience thus far. I liked that there was no pressure to quickly buy. This store had many beautiful hot tubs on display, and I wanted to get one ASAP, but there were things to do before hand: like measuring my space, hiring an electrician and talking to a "crane guy" about placing the hot tub. Altogether, we have a positive experience.
