Have been shopping at Leslie's Mira Mesa for 20 years. I believe we should have been treated better considering the Muriatic Acid I bought in April went bad almost immediately after opening it. Opened it and added it and then a couple weeks later went to add some more and the cap had turned black. Two weeks later went to use again and this time the lid was black and smoking and the acid was a different color - possibly due to the black stuff coming from the cap. Decided to stop using this one and moved onto the 2nd one and figured that must have been a fluke. Again 2 weeks later went to add a little more acid (we have a salt water pool) and again this one is starting to turn black. Then again after another few weeks this one is really black and so we felt it was important to show Leslie's what was going on. The acid was not yet as discolored as the other. When I went to take the cap off the dark colored one it literally blew off. I went to Leslie's Mira Mesa Leslie's to show it to them and complain. I have never seen this assistant manager and he was refusing to take it to dispose of it and said it was beyond the 30 day period. That he had no way to dispose of it. He also said he couldn't confirm if I was storing it wrong. This was really insulting since I have been doing this for 20+ years and storing it the same way - in the garage away from other chemicals. He could see on the computer I'm not a new customer and we've spent thousands of dollars here. It is the company that is selling bad acid or the packaging is bad. There is a little paper in the inside top of the cap, but it doesn't come out and I didn't want to dig my finger up in there not knowing if it should come out or not. I'm furious at Leslie's for not taking this back. It is dangerous for me to have at my house and I don't know how to get rid of it. Was this really worth losing a customer who has shopped there for over 20 years? We have always had a positive relationship and I've referred neighbors and friends there. Now they will hear a different tune from me. I refused to get the $269 pool basketball volleyball set there which bumed my husband out, but we managed to find it at another place. I'll never spend another penny there. I hope it was worth the $20 not to take this back and make things right. To say you can't dispose of it was a lie. If it was within the 30 day period they would have taken it back and disposed of it. You are selling something dangerous and needed to take it back. Buyer beware! I know longer recommend this place.

I recently had my pool robot serviced, and I'm extremely satisfied with the repair work.

Our Salesperson, Lance Trzcinka had years of experience and expert knowledge on all aspects of traditional and salt water spa systems. Lance provided continuous, expedient service for us from the beginning (trying to decide which hot tub would suit us best) and throughout the entire purchasing process, to delivery, to after installation! Lance was immediately available to answer all our questions, and didn't mind repeating what he taught us in the beginning! We recently enjoyed our first soak in our new Caldera Spa, and were so completely satisfied with the relaxing results! Lance and Bernardo were both available to help us through this journey and without their attentive help, the experience of purchasing and installing a salt water spa will bring us years of enjoyment! Great purchase, and highly recommend the service at The Spa & Patio Store! Thank you again Lance!

He took his time walking through the space, carefully explaining placement options, layout considerations, and how everything would ultimately look and function. What really stood out was his ability to think beyond the obvious--he brought up several ideas and design elements that I hadn't even considered, which added a lot of value to the consultation. I've met with several pool companies, and Richard is by far the most knowledgeable and thoughtful professional I've encountered. He clearly has deep expertise and takes pride in doing things the right way. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a pool project. This made my wife uncomfortable due to the risk of germs and, in my opinion, the creepiness of a stranger touching our baby. We did continue with the company because we didn't feel like starting the search over and assumed that once construction began, we wouldn't be dealing with Richard. I explained exactly what we wanted and even showed him a photo (and explained the size and purpose). The company pulled permits and later sent us a rendering that wasn't what we wanted. I scheduled a follow up meeting to discuss the issue. Richard said he could "squeeze us in" between other appointments. Before he arrived, my wife and I went into the yard to discuss the project. We realized they simply weren't understanding our vision, and it didn't seem worth the time to keep trying to explain it. I was about to text Richard when he pulled up. I went outside to let him know we would not be proceeding with the pool. His response: "Why the f**k didn't you tell me before I got here?" In my opinion, he then stormed off like a child. I reached out to his boss to let him know that such behavior was incredibly unprofessional, and the language was unacceptable. I explained that I am also a business owner and that employees are not just a reflection of the company, but the owner. Instead of acknowledging or addressing the issue, he told me Richard lives in Palm Desert--as if he had made the drive specifically for us and that somehow it would justify his behavior. The owner called me today (a week later), briefly acknowledging Richard's behavior before saying he wants to bill me for permit costs and time. I already paid a non-refundable $1,000 deposit. He told me, "I don't have to let you out of the contract," and said he has legal recourse and could place a lien on my home. He also let me know he would respond to any review I left. At the end of the day, Majestic Pools was hired to provide a service they failed to deliver to our expectations. They also employ a salesman who acts in a creepy and foul-mouthed manner. Even if we had been difficult customers who required more time than expected or had left them high and dry, that still wouldn't excuse bad, unprofessional behavior and now legal threats.

The hot tub itself is everything we hoped for--energy-efficient, durable, and incredibly comfortable for two people. The hard cover design is a game-changer, making maintenance easy and keeping the heat in, which helps with energy savings. The E2 model is really the only model that would work for our small patio. Beyond the quality of the spa, we were extremely impressed with the team at Eco Spa West. From our first inquiry at the San Diego Home Improvement Show, where we met Brad and Mickey, to the final installation, their customer service was exceptional. They were knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all our questions, helping us choose the perfect spa for our limited space. The installation process was seamless--despite having only 4 inches of clearance beyond the required space, their team navigated the setup flawlessly. They ensured everything was positioned perfectly before leaving, demonstrating both expertise and attention to detail. The options to run the spa with 110v makes this spa one of the few options if you don't have a 220v circuit. While the spa does run adequately on 110v it does take time to get up to temperature using the economy setting. I would recommend using 220v power. If you're looking for a high-quality, eco-friendly spa backed by outstanding service, we highly recommend Eco Spa West!
