Check in was fine but they seemed confused on some of the paperwork. They allowed us to have the private back room which was cool. However they didn't give us our snack until right at the very end and we only had like 5 mins to eat it and then was whisked off to the sauna and when we came back, the snack was gone. Which was disappointing bc the snacks were very tasty and delicious and such a waste of food. If we had that room the whole time, they should've given us the snack at the beginning so we had the whole time to eat it.. we each had at least two services. I had the massage and it was very average. The lady didn't know where my trigger points were at all and was just massaging with no regard for my personal trigger points. Then when I laid face up, she put a wet warm towel on my face and by the end of it, it was cold and felt like gross wet towel on my face. Also that evening, I had red bumps all over my face. And she completely fucked up my neck. She had no idea where trigger points in my neck were either and was just pushing way too hard on all the wrong spots. It was not great. The sauna can fit two people and you could get on YouTube and play whatever music you like. Which was nice. But I don't see the benefit in the sauna at all. Very odd. Anyways, the other girls seemed to enjoy their services for the most part so at least that's a plus. But I will definitely not be coming back.

I only wanted a simple lip flip and a little Botox for the "11" lines between my brows. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Inness bruised my lip badly, which has never happened to me with a lip flip before. Looking back, I honestly should have walked out when I noticed she wasn't wearing gloves while doing the injections. That alone made me uncomfortable. Needless to say, this was a first and last experience for me and I will never refer anyone there. Never again.

When you walk in, you are welcomed by a cozy little shop area with herbs, goodies, books, etc., (every time I'm here, I always end up grabbing something, ESPECIALLY the Dram drinks!) Every time I've come in, I've been welcomed warmly and I've felt comfortable and not judged here. Truly a safe space. Now, for the good stuff: I've been coming to Emma here for facials during my recent pregnancy. While I enjoy some upkeep on my skin, I'm really looking for relaxation during services like this and Emma is truly one of the only service providers I've encountered so far that has given me the space to really relax. We chat minimally (but genuinely!) and when she's doing her facial, I feel like I'm safe enough to shut my brain off and really melt into the service. She's knowledgeable about which products to reach for and has generally just been great to come to. She is dual certified in massage and I will be back soon for my first full blown massage with her - I already know it's going to be a great experience :) Haven wellness is WONDERFUL and if you're looking to support local, you should check out haven!

The store space is small but it is filled with great amazing products! Lots of the products I have used and continue to use such as Rowe Casa, Anima Mundi herbs and tonics, and some great books and gemstones. Jenny the Lead Spa Coordinator was so very helpful. She answered all my questions as I was trying to figure out which products to use and also helped me get a discount! She also took us on a tour of the spa and explained all the services that they offer. This spa offers many different services from massage to red light therapy, and cold plunge and sauna. The spa looks beautiful, and very professional and comfortable. The practitioners all look very knowledgeable! We are excited to try some services and to continue buying products that I don't have to order online!

I just had my massage today, and it was absolutely amazing, as always! Christine has been my massage therapist from the very beginning, and I am so grateful for her expertise and care. She has an incredible memory--once you share exactly what you're looking for in a massage and your preferred pressure, she remembers it for life! The atmosphere of the massage room is perfect: dim lighting, soft relaxing music, and a sense of calm that melts away stress. I'm a big fan of heat massages, and Christine takes it to the next level with her use of a weighted heat pad, a heated massage bed, and wonderfully soothing hot towels. The aromatherapy she incorporates into the session adds another layer of relaxation, making the whole experience magical. Scheduling is always a breeze, thanks to the owner, Ashley. She is so kind and such a friendly face--always ready to help. If you ever need to reschedule, just give her a call instead of emailing, as it's much faster! I recommend arriving early to enjoy the spa's relaxation area. It's such a peaceful space to unwind before your treatment, and they also have a shower and steam room that you can enjoy. One of the things I love most is that this is a phone-free zone, so you can completely relax and enjoy the quiet time without any distractions. The spa itself is immaculate, quiet, and so welcoming. Clients are treated to water, coffee, fruit, and snacks, which is such a thoughtful touch. Every visit feels like a mini retreat, and I always leave feeling completely rejuvenated. If you're looking for a massage therapist who truly listens and a spa experience that's second to none, I can't recommend Milagro Midwestern Spa--and Christine--highly enough!
