The man that is doing nails in there is very rude and very standoffish. He wants to argue with the customer he doesn't want to do anything that is not consistent of a full set. The first time I went they did a really good job on the acrylics and gave me a really nice full set with gel, only negative during that experience was the way she removed my previous set... she cut them down then ripped them off using a nail tip. It didn't hurt so I wasn't too upset but I could see some damage to my nail beds which was a bummer. The second time is why I've given a low rating. She begins removing an old set and once again is taking them off with a nail tip rather than soaking and this time I mention if there is a gentler/easier way and she says no so I'm like okay I guess and just let her do her thing. She's taking a really long time to get them off then leaves me to go help a regular, so I'm sitting there with my nails not even half way off waiting for a bit then another girl comes over (the girl from my first visit) and has an easier time getting the nails off using that same method. Once they are all of she is rushing to get my new set finished. I asked for a simple design but since she seemed in a rush I told her just simple black stilettos are okay so she doesn't feel as rushed. She continued on still not being careful and starts shaping the nails with a hand file and that led to some wonky shapes, none of the nails had a good shape to them, they were all off center and not sharp. Then as for the gel she sped thru and there were bubbles and lumps under the gel. After she finished my fingernails hurt SO BAD. She used way too much acrylic so it hurt all around the edges of my fingers. I've had this set on for a week and since I couldn't stand looking at them I cut them down and am getting them fully removed tomorrow at a different salon. Giving two starts since the first time I went they did a good job so if you're lucky maybe you'll have a good time but be careful. read more

Very disappointed decided to give this place a try because it was near my house as soon as I walked in I got helped really fast that's a plus but it wen down hill when the Lady started putting the acrylic on my nails she put so many coats of acrylic making my nails look fat and thick , & she cut them so short . I have OCD and Danny does my acrylic full sets and refills perfect every time! Every complicated design I have showed him were totally fine with him to do. Anyone in the salon is really good at doing pedicures too. If you don't get designs they are the cheapest in the area. They have the best service and are so nice. read more

I took time off to come here last min for my Aruba trip. I needn't brows waxed. I walked in and let Leslie know what I wanted. I then sat down and waited for her to finish with the person ahead of me. Once she got done, I walked to the back of the salon sat in the chair and watched her. I stopped coming to Asian salons a wile back because My experience watching them not practicing Sanitation with their clients. No matter where I go they do not follow the law of sanitation they were taught in mail school. However I decided to give one chance. Leslie did not wash her hands, nor did she use gloves. On top of that she didn't clean or wipe my brows before the service. She then took the wax stick dipped it in the wax then smeared it across my eyebrow. Then snatched the strip off as if she bitch slapped someone. She then continued to use that same stick over and over until she was done. Had the nerve to charge $14. The following day my brows was broke out with bumps. do not go here for any service and report them to state board asap read more

I went to get a full set here on March 11. It was done by some older lady with eyebrow tattoos and had glasses. She put too much gel and so they came out ugly because they came out too thick and the paint job was sloppy. I paid $35 for it but had to get them filed down and repainted elsewhere. That in itself was a problem but the real issue is that she put on so much gel that my real nails are ripping in half due to the fake ones coming off on their own. I have pictures for proof. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I am definitely filing a complaint with the City as well. I'm generally a fair person but she done messed up. Do yourself a favor and don't come here. LYNN is the only girl I trust to do my nails. She gave me exactly what I wanted: acrylic, not too long, in a coffin shape. She did the acrylic so perfectly, it feels natural and like a real nail. Not thick and heavy, but not so thin that itll break; and the color was not clumpy, just smooth and even. Absolutely perfect, I've never felt happier. And she was insanely patient with me, even helping me find the perfect color changing polish. Ask for LYNN, she knows what she is doing. So glad I found her! Lynn is the best (Nails, Eyebrows, Lashes, she even did my feet a couple x) until she no longer worked there. LYNN NO LONGER WORKS IN THIS SHOP! I've been going to this shop for over ten years before Lynn started working. Nonetheless, before she left, she had a couple ppl under her. Few of the ppl are still around but not as good; not even by slightly except one Lady V but she needs work too. When she paints the nail some lose it's shape but before she paints the shape is pretty much perfect. She also could learn to do medium acrylic not too thick or thin btw the middle of the nail/tip. The old lady bruised my big toenail today, cutting it down dammn near to my meat and 3 of my toenails I have to re-cut bc they keep getting caught to my sock. The man John who did my nails, which I normally do not let him do my nails specifically bc he did them bad once before a couple years ago. He did them horrible again today! Bad paint job (not fully to edges) and shaping! (I told him square edges and they all look not square and horrible. He not even a beginner!) The young lady Tiny she is nice but does not do eyebrows or eyelashes well just yet. Save your money specifically on the Eyelash! I let her do my lashes and they felt like both times (2×) them mf was going to fly away. She light handed! I'm not sure if its bc she is not using enough glue or pressure when she is applying them. Additionally, the first time she did them one eyelash side came off the next day as a full strip and I always get individuals. She re-did it but tried to charge me. The second time both sides were loose and one side started hanging after a couple of days and shortly the other. (Previous with Lynn they lasted 2-3weeks.) (I did not get them done today!) My eyebrows the first time where ok. Nothing fancy just okay. It bothered me bc honestly she arched them and they had a whole different shape than I was use to. The second time I showed her a picture but she fucked one up bc it had a dip in it. (They would of been perfect otherwise.) However no buddy I was not letting her fuck those two things up again! The new management has poor communication skills. V was not in today which is why I got my nails done by John today. However, I had expected to get them done by V today since I was told the day before she'd be there. Keep in mind they are aware I am partial not a full able body. Came on time for my appt and it was just all down hill from there, the end. NEVER RETURNING & THEY UP THE PRICE JUST TO PROVIDE POOR SERVICE! read more

I stopped in at Leslie's Nails for two reasons: 1. I desperately needed to remove my overgrown gel polish and 2. they were one of the only nail salons in the area that were still open without an appointment. The first part of my nail service was frightening. In the past, I've always had my gel nails buffed down, soaked in acetone, then scraped off with an orange stick. The process here consisted of using cuticle cutters to yank the polish from the base of my nail towards the top of the nail. Each tug made me cringe in fear; it felt like my real nail was going to lift off. She did catch my real nail on a pinky, and only stopped pulling once I gasped out in pain. When the gel polish wouldn't budge, she would use the nail dremel to thin it out. My nail beds became dangerously hot; I was certain the dremel was going to go through the entire nail. After I white knuckled that step, the rest of the experience was better. The manicurist took the time to show me that the color I chose was actually faded on the sample, and suggested another color. It was definitely the most basic manicure I've received. My nails were filed and painted. No massage, fancy lotions or cuticle oils used. You're seated in a folding chair, and your hands rest on paper towels. It's a no-frills nail salon. I probably wouldn't return here to have my gel polish removed, unless that wasn't their usual protocol. However, if you need a quick and cheap polish job, I would recommend visiting. read more
