I was happy to discover that salesman Steve there in Gilroy is incredibly knowledgable, helpful and low pressure (I for one cannot tolerate that sort of stress) and there was a wideselection of hot tub models. We discussed our needs with him and after some comparison shopping finally decided upon on a Caldera Seychelles (really glad we didn't impulsively go with Costco for this decision!!!) Steve was even able to recommend an electrician who often hooks up this brand and has an ongoing relationship with HTW. My wife had some real concerns about access to our yard but they were dispelled once we did a facetime video call down our pathway and clarified the dimensions needed. When it came time for delivery it was fascinating how professional and careful the crew was, like a brutish ballet! Now basking in the glorious 102-degree temperature of our tub, as our tensions melt away we now think that this might have been one of the better decisions of our life!

So I went shopping for a high quality hot tub at a reasonable price and this was by far the best place I found. They make their own hot tubs to very high standards of quality , and they even resell them to other businesses . Basically a wholesaler. I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner initially, several of the employees, and eventually the delivery guys . Every single person conducted themselves with friendly professionalism. Harley and Manny - these two brave souls got stuck with the seemingly impossible task of delivering the hot tub. And even though we encountered multiple problems with the spacing of my backyard , they were able to figure out and Tackle every single one of them. And now I have an awesome hot tub. We got a 2026 model Hotspring Jetsetter LX. Best hot tub I have ever been in, super quiet, powerful jets. We use it a few times a week. I was a bit concerned about the power needs of keeping it hot but the insulation is amazing and the heater only comes on for a few minutes every 4 or 5 hours (see the graph from my Tesla power management app). The top is very light but keeps in heat and also the water. Only had to add a bit of water after 3 months! Recommend this equipment and this vendor. I can't comment yet on their warranty service as the product has been flawless.

Brice contracted Jay Hagstrom (Mason) for the installation, tile work, re-piping etc... They were both wonderful to work with. Additionally, Dina in the office (brice's wife) was amazing too. Everyone coordinated and got the work done before any weather hit. All the while we were fit in another very large project nearby and the timing really work out very well. There were a couple of questions, hiccups along the way but Dina, Brice and Jay were in stellar customer service form. We are ever so grateful and LOVE our new wood stove and surround area. Showing Brice our concept idea from a Pinterest post he'll helped us understand what type of products we needed and how to choose. We picked a Regency wood stove that fits 16" wood with eash. There's a blower switch which may be used to push the heat in the space. Also, our number one request was to have a 'cooktop' in case we had no power. The first weekend we were able to used the wood stove we had family stay at the cabin with us and there was a PGE shutoff for a week minimum. We were able to cook for seven people right on top of the wood stove. What a total blessing. Without power we were unable to use the blower but we really stoked the unit to keep everyone as comfy and warm as possible.
