Dutch Guy Pool Service came out and evaluated our needs, explained what we needed our electrician to do first, and then came back and installed everything when we were ready. The install is great, the plumbing work is excellent as well, and everything was cleaned up and set up for us to use. In addition, I should mention that they showed up when they said they would, which is unfortunately rare these days. He cut me off before I could finish talking to inform me that he is booked for the day because of the rain but he can come by tomorrow and cut my grass. I came home at 8pm to find out that they never came or called to reschedule. I get being busy with other customers and being booked but communication goes a long way.

I paid him almost $2000 (a little over half his bid) for him to install 3 trim kits, 2 showers and do some corrective plumbing. He repeatedly claimed that he'd arrive at a certain day and time and almost always he'd arrive late or not at all and would NEVER inform me of the update. When he did arrive he'd say that his kid had a softball game or another job kept him from finishing mine. 3 weeks into the project and it was just one excuse after another. At once point he didn't seal something properly and I had to call him to come back just 5 minutes after he left and even after he came back and redid the issue and left, I checked it again and it STILL WASN'T RIGHT!! So I had to do it myself. He would come and stay for 15-20 minutes at a time and then leave. He got into verbal altercations with my general contractor because he didn't want to do any extra work. I went over his bid and told him that he owes me at least $700 for the shoddy work and he refused to pay. I hired another plumber that found multiple problems with the work he did do, and it had to be redone the correct way. Obviously I do not recommend this guy.
