RUN! We got a new fiberglass pool installed and so DISAPPOINTED!!! Concrete decking is cracking all around, has chips, and bowing. I was told cracking concrete is normal but I am pretty sure it shouldn't be cracking immediately. They put the soil (finish) down on July 3rd right before the tropical storm dropped over 5" of rain and the concrete forms were still piled up in the backyard so that area didn't get cleared or topsoil. We still had a green pool that couldn't be enjoyed over the holiday. They won't dig before rain but they will through down fresh topsoil or whatever it was but not prepared for sod and rough grade that went straight to the pool. It was also before the masonry was even started much less completed. The masonry guys got to trudge through carrying the stones. What we ended up with was a mixture of concrete, sand, gravel and rock with footprints after things dried out. We had to use a tiller/cultivator and pickaxe to try to break up the ground. The mixture of concrete, sand, gravel, and rocks broke my tiller. They shouldn't put down soil until everybody is done so that all of it is cleared up! We signed the contract 3/5/2025 and we still haven't swam in the pool for 2 primary reasons. 1 they cleaned the filters but then they got more concrete in the pool so the filters already need to be cleaned to get the concrete out. 2nd the tinker toy handrail isn't going to help me or my sister in or out of the pool (white powder coated steel ended up being white plastic that bends pretty easy and isn't long enough to help). I don't know if my pool was damaged but when the little bulldozer slid into the side wall and they had difficulty getting it out, they said it was no big deal. It feels like to me they seem to invalidate any of my concerns, they just want the money. The decking mess is probably why they push to sell the cool decking to just cover up issues. read more

I contacted this company on Aug 29th about getting a quote for a new pool. I was contacted immediately and set an appointment (Tue. Sept 3) for someone to come out and talk to me. He showed up on time and was very professional; however, he told me that he would have a 3D generated pic to me before the end of Friday (Sept. 6). It is now Sept. 24, and I have yet to hear back from him or anyone else at that company. I had also contacted Premier Pools and Spa about a pool. THEY are the company you should contact when considering a pool. At this point, I wouldn't let Poolology clean my pool. Complete lack of professionalism! read more

They are just an awesome crew of people. My pool always looks good! Only complaint is I pay a lot for pool care and if I want something looked at for repair it's an additional $100, even though they are here weekly. read more

I had issues with my pump and connection to the app. The technician arrived at a good time, I was notified that he was on the way, and he completed the work on our pump. He then helped me reconnect to the app, he was very patient and worked through the issues until I was up and running again. read more

41 weeks of construction. Day 281 started on 5.6.2024. Excavation started July 31, 2023. Built the wrong pool. They refuse to correct and finish. Contract says the pool will be completed in 120 days plus weather delays. Nope..They even blocked us on Facebook. Can you imagine ordering a new car or truck and them giving you what you didn't order, but expecting you to pay? That's been our experience with this company. I was quoted $200 at a home and garden show, but when they did my actual quote the cost to clean my pool was more than double that. I hired them anyway, because they were confident they could handle my 30 thousand gallon plaster pool. They were inconsistent, and constantly blamed me for the problems they could not handle, instead of being accountable for their inability to perform as agreed. I made several calls and texts a week. My pool was cloudy, green, dirty, etc. They'd send someone out, make excuses, tell me to replace a part and swear that part would be the fix all. Sometimes they would gaslight me. I would send a pic and say "my pool is green again" and they would deny it was green. After 6 horrible months, I fired them. Now I clean my own pool and it is perfect. Do not hire this company. Their tech Josh is a hot mess. Started off talking mad bs about us on his first day while he was on the phone. I know this because I have cameras and heard him. Then it was a constant stream of him breaking things and the company trying to charge us to replace them. There is zero communication from this pool tech, we would get invoices for things that nobody told us needed replacing, and when they did replace them, left the garbage all over the pool shed. The last straw was them refusing to fix an intake cover Josh broke while vacuuming, their reason...it was old and probably cracked. MF, that is an excuse. And when notified about it at the time, my bf was told they would take care of it when it warmed back up. Next thing I know we get an estimate for replacement. This kid is so lazy he was dumping the leaves from the pump catch basket inside my pool shed instead of outside. I should have known better when I told them I didn't want him on my property again and they kept sending him out. For the price, I expect better customer service. Micah helped us finalize the most beautiful design we could have asked for! Micah met with us in the showroom with state of the art software and 3D models to show us real life examples of what we wanted, and physical samples giving us dozens of options to help us visualize our final design. Micah presented and communicated us through the contract process which was clear and we had full visibility of inclusions vs. exclusions. Start dates and end dates were agreed upon and delivered. Malcolm provided incredible customer service throughout the construction process. We were extremely impressed with Malcolm, as you don't see many owners hands on working on your project. If need be, Malcolm will make sure your project is finished out with every aspect of our pool project to ensure quality and durations are met. Malcolm ensures you have top of the line subcontractors, and that you have the latest and greatest pool equipment on the market installed on your property. Once the construction process is complete, Nick will then be engaged to train and give you full visibility of your pool equipment and how it functions. His knowledge, experience, and delivery will leave you with a tremendous amount of confidence to be able to maintain your investment. Any issues I have had, I have been able to text any of these men and gotten a very quick response from them all! Did half cleaning job every time they came out, a new excuse on something they did not do because of winter months. My filter did not get cleaned for at least 4months. Left my pressure valve opened and was draining my pool. Find anyone else to clean your pool. read more

The owner made an offer of $1,500 to repair nearly $9,000 in damage stating they knew nothing about saltwater pools which is the first I heard of that. Never had an issue until Pool-Ology. pH swings from 6.5 to 8.4 when Pool-Ology was in charge causing all sorts of damage. Honesty is not a Pool-Ology requirement since Pool-Ology stole my Pentair IntellipH hardware from our yard after we upgraded to Pentair's Intellichem system. The owners reasoning was they were doing me a favor. Be careful, after talking to several people who use to use them, we all suspect that most of the reviews in favor of Pool-Ology are family and friends who do not even use their service. Lastly, the owner also told me he did and unauthorized credit check on my name which is totally illegal but he came up with results of my son and not me, then proceeded to curse at me, calling me a deadbeat, etc. Malcom is a poor businessman and he authorized the theft of my Pentair IntellipH system, most likely resold it to someone else since there was nothing wrong with it. read more

They have serviced our pool for a few months and I'm very satisfied with their service. They are very professionally. They text you when they are in route. You don't have to be home. The price INCLUDES CHEMICALS. Anyone with a chlorine pool knows chemicals can cost money. The back wash the filter and we really don't have to do anything. They service is weekly. I hate to service the pool so it's well worth it. Some other companies cost the same or more and don't include chemicals . Pool ology also sends you an e-mail with the test results and how much chemicals they added and when it's safe to swim. They communicate in advance if they have to change your day due to a holiday or weather etc. Anyone who is looking for carefree pool service, you will be very happy with Pool ology. read more

We switched to poolology when we received a 400 chemical bill one month during the summer. The fixed low rate year round billing really helps with our budgeting and it allows us to have extra saved for maintenance (our pool and pump are aging). Repairs are only suggested when needed to keep the pool up and functioning. We receive a text message when they are on the way and a follow up email after they leave.
