The employee found the parts it needed, got their tools and told me how to repair it myself, right there in the store, using their tools!! The repairs were actually very simple ... if you knew what you were doing. I did not. The employee did. He even checked out the final product. I have never seen service like this before!! Most places will say they will fix a pool cleaners, take the unit, and a month later give you a bill for $500 I expected a bill of $200 to fix my pool cleaner. I received four quotes to get my plaster and tiles done. We chose R Pools because CW was the most upfront didn't seem like they would come up with extra charges as a few other companies had in their contracts. The quote he gave was what we paid. When it came to the day to start there were some weather issues, but he contacted me first thing in the morning. CW was great, he communicated with me daily, made sure everyone was on task. Even with the delays due to the rain they finished in 4 days. CW then came out the morning the pool was finished filling and got it all started up. The crew that works with R Pools was great, and they cleaned up after themselves. So, if you are looking for any pool service for maintenance, repair, or renovations, you won't be disappointed with R Pools.

I was told that nothing would change, that's the price moving forward, forever! It was too good to be true, my husband and I thought. The guy shows up to clean our pool and we ask him the same thing. In our minds there must be a catch. But he too said, nope, that's the price, it will not change. The first payment posted and it was $108 so I called them and they stated they charge monthly. Phew! Ok so far so good!!! Next month the payment was $204!! So again, I called and asked what the extra charge was. The lady stated that the $25 a week was a promotion that only lasts the first month. I told her that we had been lied to twice, and she apologized and said well it states that the price will increase on the invoice. Sure enough the invoice stated it would increase after the first month. However, the person I talked to on the phone originally and the guy who showed up at my pool blatantly lied to my face. Just sad. Very bad business. It's wrong to lie and deceive people. It's just not nice. I hope that this stops because I'm sure the people working for you would like to work for honest people. At 5.5 months they are suppose to make the process simple and easy . This company is the exact opposite. My PM threaten financial responsibility to bully there clients, for something that is complete there fault. My pool was suppose to be dig to gunite in 10days instead it was closer to 30 days bc they didn't realize they had city approval on 5th day. So they waited close 2.5 wks go by before it is scheduled. Even though every few days after rebarb was installed I contacted them and was told to wait because no city approval. So by the time contractor came out my pool had caved in: Then they agreed to start the process over again but couldn't schedule it within a week, so it caved another 3 times due to rain. I told the PM that they had to do the start the process again include the city inspection. He ask to speak to my dad and my dad told him multiple time no if you lay rebarb then the inspection needs to be redone. The PM then tried to back track and said to us if the pool caved again it would be our responsibility to pay even though the contract said otherwise. Which is when I told him off and he should read the contract. Next major issue during the build they cut my well line, no one showed up for over a week. I had to call someone to set up a temporary line so I could have water in my house. My PM didn't care so I called his manager after a wk and someone came out the next day. After filling the pool with water I believing there was a light at the end of tunnel that this project was almost over but it wasn't. Typical Houston weather we had a freak storm that brought large amounts of water, we noticed the water was nearly to the top of decking. So I asked how come the pool doesn't drain itself. I was told it a manual process where the owner has to go out and open a valve. My neighbor has a 20 yr old pool that has an automatic release once it get to a certain level. We live in Houston area it rains like crazy in this town, you would think it would be install automatically. When I ask why it isn't automatic they said it's up to the designer. Which they don't ask or tell you doing the design process. Nor can it be retro actively installed. The icing on the cake my current issue. We schedule the pool motor to be started the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. I took a day off. The gentleman comes out to my house and with in 10 min he knew the electrical had issue and there was cement in my skimmers. I have a PM that suppose to come and check the subs works. He never comes out he obviously didn't check there work and he does not know how to return phone calls. Apparently his job is drive around and put WO into the system. I have had water in my pool for 3 wks with out proper chemicals or working motor, so I know have a green swamp. So my advise is do not choose this company they don't fix thing in a timely manner, the PM is no added value you could have a scheduler or GC do his job. Not worth the headache or heartache bc at the end of the day it your property that's ruined and they have your money!

I was attended by an employee who said was the manager, she told me that they had cleaned my filter, I explained to her that nobody had notified me that this service was going to be carried out because I had already bought new filters (not installed) since they were broken. She showed me a photo of her phone that was supposed to be my filters (dirty) but I don't recognize the place as my house, nor did she show me a photo of them clean and she told me very angry and arrogant that the service had already been done and although it was her fault for not having sent me a previous email as they do with everyone, and she stated that they would no longer provide me with the service, I told her that I wanted to talk to the owner and she only limited herself to say that the owner didn't have a personal email were I could contact her directly, only the general email of the company that is the one that she manages. Definitely, if the owner is not aware of this, they will end her business with a terrible reputation, because it is not possible for them to deceive you and kick you out! Stay away from these people while they are still running that business, they need to learn how to conduct their business more professional..!

When I called to discuss, again, haughty attitude, and the owners/managers of the store were gone by 3:50 pm....right-o! Based on this, I could not recommend. Looking at reviews now, I say you have less than 50% average of being less than happy with this business. Esmerelda needs to go back to kindergarten where they actually have more manners and business savvy than she has. And it looks like the only people that gave them 5 Stars are sauna buyers....the day will be coming when their experience with them differs most likely. The entire experience counts however when businesses only care about the money coming in, my experience is the norm for these type of people.
