This has been by far one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I bought a pool vac from this company a year ago. being a previous tech-support Manager I am pretty well-versed in troubleshooting and was able to determine that my vac is having an issue due to a stuck float. I took the the vac to Leslie's as it is under warranty and was advised that I would have a call within 24 hours with a diagnosis. I let the man know that I had replaced all my hoses and had diagnosed the problem and showed him what was exactly wrong with the unit. The next day I was supposed to receive a call to give me an update as to when it would be repaired, but I never received a call. The following day, which was Tuesday I called and spoke to a young man who did not bother to ask my name, or my phone number just simply stated that his manager was out of the office, and he would have to reach out to him as this is an old vac, and they do not carry parts. I reminded him that it was only a year old and had been purchased directly from them and asked that he please be sure to return my call and leave me a voicemail if I did not answer. Of course I never received a call. I called today only to be told that there are 3 vacs ahead of mine, and it still has not been diagnosed. I told the young man exactly what I told by the older gentleman when I dropped it off and he still said we don't carry parts for this as it is an old unit and there are three systems ahead of yours. now it will be at least a week until I can get my vacuum back depending on how long it takes his manager to diagnose the problem. Come to find out the person I spoke to on Sunday was the manager who again promised to call me within 24 hours here we are 72 hours later and I still have not heard from the manager. I know Leslie's court values and this definitely is not one and I do not understand how you have a manager that does not have customer service skills, I would like my vac repaired and returned immediately. This is beyond ridiculous, and I will be reaching out to the corporate office to large, formal complaint. I am also going to be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Pentair, the maker of the pool vac that I'm now being told is too old, although it's under warranty and only one year old. read more

No courtesy given for an online order placed didn't even bother to call before cancelling our order and asking if it could be transferred to another store they just cancelled it. And when we checked to see the status before driving over and HR away to pick it up it that's when we found out its was cancelled. So we called to find out what happened and the person Caitlin that answered and spoke to my husband didn't even ask for an order number she just blatantly lied and said they didn't receive any orders for online and then when he confronted her about it she asked for the order number finally then proceeded to say that they didn't have any in stock but online it said that they did and when he said that she went back to go check and then told him oh yeah we do have one but it was damaged and that's why your order was canceled so she just blatantly lied about the whole thing had no customer service skills at all and should be fired and work at McDonald's and hopefully then maybe she could take an order correctly. Please hire better customer service and people that are educated will never do business here ever again. read more

Totally thankful for Matt his knowledge and amazing customer service. Our pool has been trouble from the start. We hired two different companies which was money wasted. We walked into Leslies with a green pool, broke pump and needed new filters it was a nightmare. Matt helped us order and purchase everything we needed, gave us a pool 101 since we knew nothing and got us set up with one of their zodiac cleaners. Last week our pool pump and filter once again broke, Matt and Samantha went above and beyond for us to help us purchase everything and finance a new filtration system. My dad and I went in to buy a couple things for our pool(as you do), but the store had closed fifteen minutes ago. One of the guys behind the counter saw us and saw that my dad was in a wheelchair (accident), and let us in. We were very thankful for the service and the kindness of the staff! read more

If your going to depend on Leslies to maintain your pool to be in excellent and sparkling condition,STOP! It's like throwing darts at a dart board. I have visited the place more than I'd like to admit to but they're the only pool supply place close. On every trip it's always been someone new behind the counter. They look like they know what they are doing ,but it's always the same outcome. They "advise" me that I need to add this product or that product to remedy the problem . The problem is I've bought everything the sold me on . I've followed their directions to a T. And now I'm back to where I started. No help whatsoever. Just a shelf full of products that seem to do no better than what I used to buy at Home Depot. Get educated on the service you are trying to sell. It's not rocket science! read more

I live not 5 minutes away from this store and have refused to do business with them for the last 4-5 years. The customer service is horrible, the manager is horrible. Today I needed to get my pool water tested and I was in a rush so thought I would try them once more. WHAT WAS I THINKING. Nothing has changed. I got there a little after 10:00 and the manager said the water test system was down. I thought to myself, UM, OK, but that should have been checked and resolved before the store was open for business. Not to mention why not test it the old fashioned way to service the customer. I will drive to Pebblecreek before going to this store. Buckeye is a big city and I can't figure out why this is such a horrible store to do business with. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. Customer Service is HORRIBLE!!! I recently went to my local store to confirm my own water test just as a second pair of eye's. While they did confirm the results I was seeing. During my visit they sold me a package deal. Buy their pool Chemicals and get a 9 point inspection included. OMG what a nightmare! I never received a call to setup an appointment for the service they sold me. I had to return to the store to get an appointment. Now is the day of the service; to get a more accurate time than between 12 pm and 5 pm. I called only to be passed from the 1-800 # to my local store, back to the 1-800 # to another local store only to be told that they do not provide the service and still no one can give me a straight answer. No one seems to know who and when they will be available to perform the service they sold. I'm not really sure I want them out anyway. read more

Our pool vacuum wasn't working properly so we went to Leslie's and spoke with Darren about getting a new vacuum and he advised we bring in our old one to make sure it isn't something simple to fix first. We did get it and brought it back same day but the repairs were going to be more than worth it so we did buy a new one. Darren went over the rebate with us and completed the form for their part and advised we would be getting $35 in Leslie rewards also. Darren was the only one working but he addressed each customer that came in and let them know he would be right with them, he provided excellent customer service. read more

Customer service sucks had a heward pool pump rebuilt there last year with one of their new motors all new seals barely lasted a year they installed failed, brought unit back to store, lazy owner tried disassembly than gave up easily cause another customer came in to buy chlorine he tried to gouge me for $400 more dollars to rebuild pump again, don't spend a dime at this place rip off!! Samantha is the best! She was absolutely amazing. I called her for a pool part that the store didn't have in stock. She went to a different store by her house and brought it back to this store so that I could fix my pool today. I tried to give her $20 for her trouble but she wouldn't take it. I had an issue with a hayward pool vac less than 1 year old purchased online. The store manager was kind & helpful after some local pool guys gave me a hard time in the store. Unfortunately, some guy who did not even work there decided he would take over while the poor new you girl was intimidated as was I. The pool guy said it would cost money to fix and said I should not have bought it online. Let me state for the record: LESLIE'S IS A HAYWARD AUTHORIZED DEALER & DOES PROVIDE SERVICE FOR THEIR PRODUCTS STILL UNDER WARRANTY - IN THIS CASE FOR TWO YEARS FROM PURCHASE. This store is o.k. ..Just watch out for pool guys who act like they know it all. read more
