If I could only recommend one restaurant in Paris, this would be that place! I think this might be one of my favorite meals ever, not just on vacation. After a very long day in Disney Paris, my friends and I were starving and not looking to go far so we found this place right around the corner from where we were staying. The owner is this sweetheart who suggested we order three dishes each and then share everything. Three of us decided to share and one of the girls in the group decided to get three things for herself. We also paired the meal with a bottle of white and a bottle of rosé that completed our meal perfectly! What we ordered: - 2 scallop carpaccio - 2 mushroom risotto - 3 gnocchi - mini burger - stuffed peppers - white fish (don't remember the actual fish) ceviche - veggie quesadillas - mozzarella sticks Not one plate that was sent to us wasn't devoured. Personally, our favorites were the Gnocchi, soft and pillowy in the most AMAZING cream sauce, and scallop carpaccio, fresh scallops seasoned to perfection in a light acidic sauce. Even the dishes that I probably would never order in Paris like the mozzarella sticks, quesadilla and mini burger. We're also completely delicious. Actually the mozzarella sticks had the most insane, you can tell that these were homemade. Even with no room left in our stomach, we ordered dessert. We ordered two crème brûlée and two chocolate cakes to split and then a apple tart for the table. Crème brûlée was insane, a must order! When my friends left and I was in Paris by myself, I actually came back alone twice! When I went, it was around the Olympics, so the owner was so nice to come and sit with me and show me how to get cheap tickets online that I never would've been able to find myself. Such a sweet soul! The place is pretty small, they pack as many tables as they could in here. Great French dining experience with a bit of a twist...."tapas" style! Got to taste & enjoy more variety of dishes. There's a good selection to choose from. I believe it's different every time. Had the mushroom risotto, beef kafta, salmon tartar, crispy chicken, squid, and ceviche. Must say right portions and assortment for me. You can always get more depending on your appetite . My wife and I reserved this place last-minute, as it was across the street from where we were staying. We were lucky to get a slot in this little neighborhood gem. You order three tapas-style small plates each for a flat rate of 18 euros per person. A few dishes have a supplement of 2-3 euros. Dessert and coffee are extra. Be warned that the plates and the name of the restaurant are not the only small things there! We had a tiny tiny cute little table, which for us fairly slim folks worked just fine. If you are larger, you might have issues. The plates we had (as modestly translated to English) were "baked potatoes," "calamari," "seafood risotto," "fried chicken," "baked eggplant," and "gnocchi." They were all delicious, and in somewhat small portions. For me, the standout was the baked potatoes. Such an understated, yet amazing dish. Perfectly roasted halved baby Yukon gold potatoes, crispy on the outside, yet incredibly moist and creamy on the inside. I could eat those every day! For dessert, we had a molten lava tart and a raspberry tiramisu with coffees. The tiramisu was again the most mind-blowing! I would love to go back there the next time we're in Paris. read more

Delicious food and very kind staff! I come back every time I'm in Paris and they are always welcoming. The menu is in French and English. Review #2000!! Les Petites Bouchees was our first dinner of my recent Paris trip. I was traveling with a friend who had never been and so the pressure was on to pick something good. We weren't starving so French style tapas sounded like a great idea. We opted for the 6 tapas for €32 which is a bargain! Portion sizes for tapas are pretty generous, and we weren't able to finish everything. We had: *Mozzarella beignets - aka mozzarella sticks. This was delicious in the way that fried cheese is. *Veggie spring rolls - fresh, crunchy and a nice contrast to some of the heavier dishes. *Gravlax - this was a nightly special and if it's on the menu I highly recommend it. It ended up being our favorite dish. *Chicken brochettes - again, a nightly special. Served with a light Asian glaze, it was nicely done. *Kefta with homemade tzatziki - I really liked the spice blend on this *Pork ribs- okay, this one not so much. The glaze was fabulous - honey and thyme - but the actual ribs were gristly and fatty. I think a longer, slower method might be better? Despite being full, we ordered dessert (because: vacation) - the creme brûlée was pure comfort food with just a hint of cinnamon. My friend ordered the cheesecake which was a huge slice and looked homemade. Anyway, service was great. There isn't really an English menu but our server kindly explained everything. My wife and I took a holiday trip to Paris recently and Les Petites Bouchees was by far one of out favorite restaurants of the entire week! It is a cozy small restaurant but very warm and cozy and the staff are super friendly and kind. There are a bunch of vegetarian option which was a major plus since my wife is vegetarian and she loved everything she had. The prices were also very reasonable unlike other Paris establishments. Some favorites included the Burrata, Truffle Ravioli and cooked beef. The spare ribs weren't that impressive unfortunately. Reservations are recommended and the space is small so not the best for large groups but 2-4 people easy. read more

The small plates were definitely small, but they were amazing. The crispy chicken and mushroom risotto were especially memorable, even a week later. This is a cozy little restaurant on a side street in the Marais. It looked like there were about a dozen tables inside, but it didn't feel too cramped. I guess the small size goes along with what they serve: small plates aka tapas. The woman working there, who I presume is the owner, was working busily to serve the whole restaurant, but service was still good. We ordered a few small plates and one main. Everything was delicious. I had the cod croquettes, mozzarella sticks and kafta. The kafta wasn't too spicy, pretty mild in fact. Prices were reasonable, about €6 per plate with some an extra €2. The beer they have on tap was pretty delicious also! It does get pretty busy the later it gets, so go in early to guarantee you don't have to wait. read more

My husband and I made a last minute reservation for this place. Our server, Mangot, was super friendly. She translated the whole menu in English for us and made great recommendations. Food comes in very small portions so she suggested 3 tapas per person (which was more than enough for us). I only eat seafood and chicken so there were quiet a few options for me. Options are a bit limited compared to what I (maybe naively) expected for a tapas restaurant, but there were certainly enough to put together a good meal. Amazing, amazing, amazing! Went here slightly after the lunch rush (~14:00) after seeing that it had 11 all 5-star reviews here on Yelp. They serve these super-delicious French "tapas" with everything from pies, chorizo, salmon, different porks with jummy honey sauce etc! Let me start by saying that I realize that the options in this part of Paris are overwhelming. That being said, if you must visit one, Les Petites Bouchées is my top pick. The service here... absolutely incredible! The staff here(wish I knew their names) have been a huge relief in a city where customer service can be aggravating. These two who helped us were so lovely, friendly, helpful and attentive. Beyond the excellent service, the ceviche, Kafte, stuffed red peppers, risotto, and salmon were so so so delicious. As amazing as those dishes were, there's one thing that brought us back the second night (maybe third) in a row, the chocolate cake with ice cream(Wooow!) one of the best deserts I've ever had! We stumbled on this tiny unique restaurant in La Marais which is run by a woman who left a banking career (lucky for all us diners!) The service was lovely and the food amazing! Decided to eat here after reading the good reviews. It was a Sunday, so many of the other restaurants on my list were closed. Even without a reservation, we were able to get a table with just a short wait (less than 10 minutes) around 8pm. We ordered 6 items to share.They were all very mediocre. Everything looked divine, so it was tough to make a decision, so we asked the lovely owner to bring out her 6 favorite dishes. They did not disappoint.
