Having left the bar next door I passed by this place and resolved to eat here the next day before a haircut by Bastien at Carita around the corner Where to start...on entering around 2pm, a few other people still at table, I chose a table and looked around...liked the decor...lots of yummy food for sale or for take away food...two waiters, one waitress; one of the former set the table for me, the latter took the order So to the menu - its not a cheap place but lots of interesting dishes...I chose the saucisson (Fayet) at 6€, the tranche of smoked salmon (which came with 4-5 mini blinis and creme) at 12€, and crushed potato with chorizo bits at 7€. You can see the photo to get an idea of the relative merits... So they brought some bread in a basket, baguette cut in half, with a dish full of tomato and olive oil (one of the most sickly concoctions I have ever seen - it might of course be delicious, but I was looking around for the cat) I chose the basic (glass of) wine on offer - it was between 6 & 9€....turned out to be Carmelo Romero Crianza at 8.50€....it was very good. It was also a very large glass for such a tiny amount of wine...shame. Had to ask twice for water Now this is where you need to check the photo. There was enough saucisson for 3 people! It was good but not fancying the tomato stuff I asked for butter...they don't have butter she said...really?!; that's not the right answer; poor...so you eat it dry with the bread, hmmm The salmon was indeed just one tranche and not very thick but it was excellent and very good blinis...shame could easily have managed more The potato dish was very tasty though it had developed a sort of skin through sitting there, I don't know A double espresso at 4€ and the bill please; I settled and left; no-one could be too bothered to say goodbye...in the same way it was tough to catch their attention to get the bill & coffee Summary - good food if a little pricy; wine good but I wander what the alternative at 19€ a glass would have been like!!! Decor fine. Atmosphere flat at best and "service" not the best.. the arrogance of the area personified by the staff perhaps - you'd get better in some market bistro. Not impressed Oh and get some butter...its not what you offer, its what the customer wants or they don't return...guess what

This was such a wonderful counterpoint and respite to all the heavy French food. This was a sweet little space, where clearly, locals go to get a fix of Spanish delicacies. Many lovely hams, and meats, our favorite manchego, and the pan con tomate was served with a small pile of crusty bread and a small bowl of pureed tomatoes that reminded me of a favorite gazpacho. The storefront was pretty and unassuming, the seating was limited and they obviously do a great business of selling Spanish goodies from the counter. The staff was friendly, they have a menu with English translations and it's quite near the upscale shopping. We'd go again next time in Paris.

This is my favorite location

I am a flight attendant and when I visit Paris, I love introducing Bellota-Bellota to my fellow crew members and friends. The staff at Bellota-Bellota are very knowledgeable with the wines that they carry, they have delicious meats and cheeses that compliment them nicely! It's a great way to start the evening, sharing wine, fine meats, and memories with friends. I recommend that you visit Bellota-Bellota!

I still dream of going back to this place. It was my birthday, and we had just visited the Yves Saint Laurent museum close by. I remembered that this place was mentioned in Goop so I thought we would give it a try and I am so happy we did. We ordered a bunch of stuff and everything was truly delicious! 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent place and service, their jamón de bellota is so good you always want more and more. They speak English, Spanish and of course French. Excellent customer service.

Platter of smoked salmon and chorizo.
