    Breakfast...

Breakfast! Cafe, bagettel, juice, pastry and cereal. Love the decor. Wine, wine everywhere yet no wine for me in the morning. Just at the metro before a long journey east on the RER. Energy for the day! #Bestwaytostarttheday

This was my first taste of incredibly bad Parisian service. My husband & I ordered: - Escargot, Duck & Pasta, & Pork Ribs. Service was exceptionally slow in general and what we thought would be a quick meal turned into 2 hours which messed up our itinerary. I also wanted to be seated inside, away from all the smoke, but that didn't help since the smoke crept through all the crevices. We waited ONE hour for our entrees & my pork ribs were COLD... like refrigerator cold & microwaved for only a minute. It was shame because the outside parts that were warm, were REALLY good! What were they doing the whole time? The duck & pasta was ok, but not the greatest. The only saving grace was the escargot. It was my first time having escargot and thankfully my husband & I really enjoyed it. The garlic butter sauce was excellent! Overall, if you're just getting escargot, enjoy! If not, definitely try to find somewhere else.

Where do I even begin.. WE found this wonderful place while walking up from ave rue carnot fro our hotel to cross over to the champs de elysees. A few things really drew us in; the ambience which was a very relaxed bistro, the almost crowded space, and yes, the chalk menu outside the door was in english. Our server was very nice, she started us off with some french wine options and she made sure that she answered all of our questions especially the fact that it was our first meal in Paris. Our french was very minimal but she spoke prefect english which really made us at ease. Some of the items we ordered: Escargot:came in a sizzling plate covered in parsley and garlic butter. Burnt my tongue a few times but it was so good! not slimy nor griny compared to the other places we went to. We used the baguette to soak up the garlic butter after all the snails were gone:) Fois gras: thick loaf-sized slices of fatty fatty duck liver with a side of apricot preserves and sea salt with a few pieces of toast. I can't even begin to describe the freshness and creaminess of the fois gras that I have never had ever before in the US. OMG. We even dipped the pomme frites in it and that was a big delicious mistake; because it made it more addicting! not bad for 11 euros! I had the chicken in white sauce, and my friend had the lamb chops which were all amazing. we had a such a lovely expirence that we came back the next night for dinner and then the following morning for breakfast! If you are ever in the area, skip the expensive restaurants by champs de elysees and walk a couple of blocks over to rue carnot. I can't wait to come back to this bistro the next time I'm in Paris. Trust me, you'll be coming back for more-just like me.

Great find! Location is excellent! You get a nice view of the Arc if you eat outside. Traditional French service, not fast food, don't expect them to rush your meal. They will seat you, provide a menu, then give you a few minutes to figure out your order. Food is decent, not outstanding, price reflects more on the location rather than the quality of the food. Nevertheless the food is good. Portions are decent. The staff will make sure you are taken care of. Expect to take over an hour and a half from seating down to leaving. All the appetizers are good, burgers are overpriced but their steaks are excellent. Their children's menu is limited to chicken breast or cheeseburger. All their desserts are great!

Came by purely to enjoy a fine glass of champagne and some ice cream for my daughter. Nice relax scene, very fast service and very good cup of espresso. Waiter was nice to include small plate of cookies for a quick snack. Seems like no matter where u eat or drink at, its always good.

Not bad. 75 Euros for a party of 3. We ordered a 20 euro bottle of wine, 3 entrees and an appetizer. The Escargot was good. The steak tartare was good, the burger and the salmon was not bad, but the rest is not great either. Comparing to the other restaurants close by, its ok. If you happen to pass by it or is close by, I would recommend it. But to really head to this place just to eat, maybe not.

We liked the food here so much that we came a second time while we were on vacation. The food here is tasty and nice on the eyes. The customer service is fast and attentive. The House Dressing for the salad is a must try. The Pomme Frites are good with the House Salad dressing. 1st Night: We ordered Steak Tartar. It was marinated full of flavor and had the same texture as Sashimi. 14.50 euros 2nd Night: We ordered the St Pierre fish and Double Burger. The Burger was massive. Cooked medium to perfection. Juicy and flavorful. The fish is native to French restaurants. The fish was good. 50 euros total for 2.

Open on Sundays most restaurants are closed. Vegetarian salad is very good. Traditional Chicken with rice will be the best pick for kids.

Perfect first meal in Paris, you get french bread, french cheese and french wine! The tri-fecta!

I took pictures of the arc before the sun went down, had dinner, then went back for the evening shots.
