(I did read a review under this location... with the exact problem with Coffin Shapes and improper placement of nail extensions! Also another Reviewer made mentioning of being caught by surprise with unexpected changes to charges... after services rendered). Just be aware! We are the Consumers, and we must post reviews, good bad or indifferent! It's our hard earned monies that keeps the doors opened, and demand that we get good service, where we patronize! It's just that simple!! The two that I dealt with, all of a sudden their voices became quite muzzled and low, as things began to unfolding. Inaudible words, that could not be easily understood or interpreted in English, as they were purposefully setting the stage to escalate the price! I just could feel it. Even if you asked them to repeat it... It's is intended to cause confused communication; so you may seem as if you're the person; that doesn't wish to pay for rendered services. Please listen to them carefully when they start running their words together in low hard to differentiate voices! (It was both a male and his female accomplice- who he went to get, after I asked what happened to the $40 price for full set of acrylic nails? As the other option was an added $15 if I wanted gel?? But I got the acrylic- full set. The point is this: I was quoted $40 for acrylic full set during making my appointment. After arriving charged me for $15 more because nails were shaped by scissors clipping into a scare tip; but I'm told it's "Coffin". READING OTHER REVIEWS, I found similarities in the same complaints as mine: Problems escalating fees, Coffin Shaped Nails, Attitude and Crooked Nail Extensions... are just a few that caught my attention! During the pedicure, my big toe was cut and started bleeding, and the technician seemed very distracted and inconsistent - she did not do the same steps on each foot and leg, and I had to point out that one foot had not even been filed like the other. On top of that, I was never asked which pedicure package I wanted. Last time I was there, I got the basic pedicure, but this time I was charged $70 without anyone confirming an upgrade or explaining the price beforehand. It is not fair that I was charged seventy dollars and walked away with nothing I originally went in for - not the color I chose, not the chrome effect I requested, and a bleeding big toe instead. For what they charge, this level of service is not acceptable.
