The Mgr. came back, to explain to me that the $15 extra charge was because of my nails shaped- coffin! Looking at my nails contour and width - they are more squared. I don't know... Andy was both welcoming and nice!! But not as happy; besides being too easy to become unglued, during my first time visit. I kind of felt that there was a Quick change to escalate charges on or by whatever ridiculous means they may come up with!! (I did read a review under this location... with the exact problem with Coffin Shapes and improper placement of nail extensions! Also another Reviewer made mentioning of being caught by surprise with unexpected changes to charges... after services rendered). Just be aware! We are the Consumers, and we must post reviews, good bad or indifferent! It's our hard earned monies that keeps the doors opened, and demand that we get good service, where we patronize! It's just that simple!! The two that I dealt with, all of a sudden their voices became quite muzzled and low, as things began to unfolding. Inaudible words, that could not be easily understood or interpreted in English, as they were purposefully setting the stage to escalate the price! I just could feel it. Even if you asked them to repeat it... It's is intended to cause confused communication; so you may seem as if you're the person; that doesn't wish to pay for rendered services. I thought what the heck is happening here? My answer was, okay because these ARE NOT Coffin Shaped etc... Okay. Even though, I'm thinking- they look like basic shapes!! Yada yada yada!! Okay... here's your money.. Because, lesson learned! I paid the amount without argument, with a 15% gratuity anyway!! Because this establishment will not be operating for long; if they are playing games here and there with their pricing!! So in case it becomes your turn to get taken... Please listen to them carefully when they start running their words together in low hard to differentiate voices! (It was both a male and his female accomplice- who he went to get, after I asked what happened to the $40 price for full set of acrylic nails? As the other option was an added $15 if I wanted gel?? But I got the acrylic- full set. The point is this: I was quoted $40 for acrylic full set during making my appointment. After arriving charged me for $15 more because nails were shaped by scissors clipping into a scare tip; but I'm told it's "Coffin". READING OTHER REVIEWS, I found similarities in the same complaints as mine: Problems escalating fees, Coffin Shaped Nails, Attitude and Crooked Nail Extensions... are just a few that caught my attention! For some reason the original pics keeps changing beneath!! But the idea is to show what Coffin Shapes looked like, opposed to my very own pic taken of what I received here!

To begin with they didn't even clean my nails the right way, didn't cut cuticles or anything. I asked for coffin style and they did square nails on me. I also asked for medium size nails and instead I got short nails. The French tips are all messed up, and the nails aren't filed good, and they didn't even apply acrylic on the entire nails, I had to ask to fill in around the cuticle because the nails looked like they had outgrown already while getting them done, yet they didn't even fill them completely either way. However, at the suggestion of a friend, I decided to give Peter a chance. I am so happy I did. Peter is great! Not only is he a talented nail tech but he is very personable. I have the dip powder manicure and have never been disappointed. Sometimes, Peter will combine and create colors and designs which have all been beautiful. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received about my nails. The prices are reasonable, and the manicure lasts for weeks.
