Charging someone's card without their consent is theft, plain and simple. I honestly can't believe this happened at a trendy Manhattan dental clinic that calls itself "luxury." I've never experienced anything like this before -- this place used the card from my last visit and secretly charged me $300 while I was still sitting on the couch waiting, before I even saw the doctor or received any treatment. No consent, no signature, no explanation. I came in for an endodontic appointment, but never saw the doctor, no treatment was done, and no one asked for authorization. Later that day, I found out they had charged my card at 11:35 AM -- the exact time I was still in the waiting room. That's unauthorized, unethical, and feels like theft. The first time I came, they refused to tell me the price by email. Today they finally showed me the quote about $6,000 for one tooth. I said it was too expensive and decided to leave; they said "that's fine." But behind my back, they still charged me. This is the most dishonest, exploitative dental office I've ever seen. read more

I don't understand some of these negative reviews. My wife and I have been seeing Sharon and her team here for years - both this location and their one on Lex. The staff is super friendly, transparent with billing (e.g. goes out of their way to work with you on payment), and my teeth feel clean after every visit. Yes the place is glam (tvs on ceiling are awesome), and I for one enjoy the extra sparkle. No need for the dungy dentist office of yesteryear. Few enjoy going to the dentist, but the quality of the cleaning, the friendliness of the staff, and the knowledge of Sharon keeps us coming back. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Bad service and ridiculous overcharge of services you did not ask for. I came for 1 appointment and was then billed for 20 different charges. She will try to make as much money off you as possible for not having done any work. Also, her bedside manner is terrible. She is rude and makes you feel uncomfortable, even though she is the one trying to sell you on her services as a cosmetic dentist. She is focused on becoming an Instagram Influencer dentist rather than providing quality care for her patients. I am so disappointed. Les Belles put my dental anxiety at ease. My wisdom teeth started bothering me in December, so I made an appointment and Dr. Huang easily cleaned the junk out of my teeth until I was able to get my teeth removed. I was nervous as heck to get my teeth pulled but I felt NOTHING when Dr. Gleid took my teeth out. I opted for local anesthesia and laughing gas, couldn't feel or hear a thing (I was listening to the soothing voices of Daniel Radcliffe reading Harry Potter lol). I had my first visit with the dentist here yesterday as I have new insurance and it is close to my home. It must be said that I hate going to dentists. I get nervous and often put it off for too long. That being said, this was such a painless lovely experience. The office is so nice and welcoming and the receptionist who helps you go over insurance and costs is also so nice. I had to get a deep cleaning which I was not planning and she went over all the costs and my insurance so I felt comfortable before agreeing. I've had to get a deep cleaning before and I remember it as painful but this didn't hurt at all. The dentist and hygienist were very kind and gentle and checked in with me to see if I was doing OK a few times during. Also I got to watch Netflix and the distraction was a definite help. I have been on the search for quite some time (more than a year and a half) for a new dentist at a convenient location next to work. I have to say after my first visit with Dr. Sharon Huang and Dr.Bridget my experience with a Dentist has completely changed. First of all this is a brand new facility with a gorgeous welcoming entrance. The front desk receptionist and staff are super helpful and sweet! I got my deep cleaning done by both Dr.Bridget and Dr. Huang who explained everything upfront. Super welcoming staff that gave me a goodie bag after the first visit. Don't be fooled by the glitz and glam of this place like I did. They are money hungry here. I went in for a regular cleaning back in February and now have to pay $90 extra for a "deep cleaning" that my old dentist would've done for free!! (they called me today to let me know they forgot to charge me back in Feb... great timing guys, while I'm out of work due to the pandemic) The staff puts you on the spot with all these extra costs and procedures that are unnecessary. I've been going to Dr Huang for years, but this was my first time in her new office. I was amazed at the decor and customer service. The staff is very professional and attentive. Dr Huang is very gentle which is why I go to her. I get anxiety every time I hear the drill but I've always felt comfortable with her. Was quoted $27,000 for a treatment plan. Discussing payment, the coordinator asked "how much money do you have in your savings account?" for a down payment, and "how much money can you afford to pay each month and not have to eat ramen for every meal" for monthly installments. She also said, "your parents are going to help you, right? can't you just call your dad?" I'm a grown woman who has fully supported myself since 18 and regardless, the financial status of myself and my family is not the business of anybody else. I was obviously completely alarmed and disturbed by these inappropriate questions. I called the "general manager" of Les Belles to alert them and was told I would receive a call back by EOD to potentially be reimbursed for the deep cleaning and filling I had already received, since the office switched me to an out-of-network dentist without telling me (what??). It's been two weeks and I haven't heard back. I went to see a second dentist and was quoted $10,000 for the same plan that Les Belles would have charged me $27,000 for. I would have dropped everything if Les Belles had followed through and given me the courtesy of a callback or reimbursement, but since neither has happened I feel I should warn everyone of the legitimately traumatic experience I've had with this dental facility. read more

Dr. Huang has been my dentist for the past 3 years and I couldn't be happier. She and her staff are incredibly nice and make the whole dental experience so much more pleasant. I can not begin to say how impressed i am with Les Belles. My daughter has anxiety with dentist and doctors, being able to find this place was everything i prayed for. 1st to not have the word dentist or dds in their company name is amazing, then from the whole look inside is like a fashion show, and then their staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They claim to be up front about their pricing and contacting your insurance - they looked up my plan and said that they were in-network and it would be 100% covered. Over 3 months later I received a bill and turns out they are not in-network and I have to pay out of pocket. Don't trust what they say - contact your insurance first to doublecheck. Can't say enough good things about Doctor Bridget, I came in about 6 months ago for an emergency with extreme dental phobia. She broke my treatment plan down into manageable pieces and I have already gotten compliments that my teeth look so much better. She is super easy to talk to and is straight up with you.
