We were trying to figure out something close by and quick for dinner and Leo's popped up as a choice. We decided to go with them since we haven't in a while. We ordered 20 wings and a cheeseburger sub. It was ready in 20-25 minutes so that was great! They have their own takeout spot which I think is nice so you're not walking into the bar/restaurant space and waiting awkwardly. The wings were good. I wanted cajun on the honey bbq to try to make them a little bit more my speed. Unfortunately we ordered online and it didn't go through the right way so they were just honey bbq. The other 10 were just medium. They're decent wings, but I wasn't blown away with them. The cheeseburger sub was great but the bun wasn't toasted enough on the bottom so it was a little soggy. I like the food at Leo's, but I prefer the Orchard Park location. There is a nice set up in here, tall tables and long booths to suit small or large parties. I ordered boneless chicken wings, and they came out as regular chicken wings. They were good of course, but not what I ordered. I also ordered 2 pizzas to go, with four extra blue cheese. Thank goodness I looked inside the boxes, because I was charged for the blue cheese of course, but I didn't get them. The server should have checked the food before it was brought to the table. Regarding my wing mix up, or my forgotten blue cheese. It wasn't busy, there was no read for it. I've never been to this location, and likely won't be back, even though it is closer to my home. A quick stop after work on a snowy Thursday. Wow, you would never know how big this place is until you walk in! It looks like a small pizzeria from William street but check out my pics! They put some money into this place by the look of the decor and 2 floor. The happy hour was great and even the regular prices for drinks were reasonable. We had one slice of pizza because that's how I roll and how I like to judge a pizza-based place. It was good, sweet sauce with tasty cheese and flavorful dough. Perfect "cup" pepperoni with the right amount of spice. A little more expensive like a Picassos or Santoras. Great ambience, lovely bartender as well. We will be back soon! read more

As a frequent patron of the Leo's Pizzeria on William Street in Lancaster, I felt compelled to say I feel as though I've been duped into paying a bar bill and tipping a bartender for what is extremely subpar service (if it could really be called that), and not aligned to the previous incredible positive experiences I've had ordering take out and sitting down here. Tonight we came into the restaurant at around 9:05 because we saw it didn't close until 10pm and were out late running errands. There were quite a few people at the bar and at a couple tables with drinks and food. To be sure we were still able to order food at the bar, my husband went up to the bartender and asked if they were still serving food. He was told by one of the people at the bar that we'd have about half an hour to order, which was totally fine by us. We're a quick study and get the same thing most of the time. We sat down immediately and ordered a couple sodas, then ordered a small pizza and single order of wings and fries from the bartender once we received our drinks. The bartender put the order in, confirmed with another person working who was back and forth between the kitchen and the bar... and then we waited... and waited, and waited. We waited until 10pm to get our food -- yes, that's when they close! I had a feeling something was wrong when more and more time went by and nothing happened, and this feeling was confirmed. The bartender come over to us, completely sheep faced, gave us the bill, and told us that everyone in the kitchen had left, so no food was made. I truly feel flabbergasted at this experience. No one thought to check in on food that had an order in? We barely touched our drinks because we were waiting for food, so to be charged almost ten dollars for drinks and wait for over 45 minutes only to be told no food was ever made, I really feel like we were only allowed under the guise of someone getting a tip and a bill. Unfortunately, this really takes Leo's off our go-to list. read more

This is our second order from Leo's. The service has improved since my last review. This was a simple take-out order. The cheese and pepperoni pizza was, unfortunately, mediocre in our opinion. The dough was thick, but it was cooked through so that's a plus. However, the sauce was bland and really a non-factor. The small amount of cheese did not justify the surprisingly high price. In fact, the prices here are quite high without the elevation in quality you might expect from a high priced pizza, such as those from Bocce or Imperial. I also ordered a chicken finger salad with blue cheese dressing. The blue cheese was packets of Kraft dressing. Kraft. Even worse than Ken's. Serving Kraft blue cheese dressing in Buffalo is very weak. They are in my neighborhood and I do want them to succeed, and perhaps I will frequent the bar once the pandemic winds down. But as for the food, I can find better in several nearby take-out pizzerias at much more reasonable prices. And none of those places serve Kraft blue cheese dressing. read more

Our first time ordering at Leo's was a disaster from ordering to eating the bland cold food. We'll give it another shot since we always try places at least twice (we all know bad days happen) but first impressions don't bode well for our revisit. It started with the person on the phone seeming to not understand anything I was saying. First to ensue was the miscommunication about the sub. I was ordering for someone else who wrote down they wanted the 8 inch sub. To which there was much confusion (to note the menu calls it an 8 inch mini sub). Then I wanted bell peppers on my pizza and I was told "we don't have bell peppers for pizza" wait, what??? She told me to hold on while she checked. I clarified by saying "sweet peppers" before she disappeared. They had those... I asked for onion and was given sauted onion strings- blech. The grilled chicken was good though. The dough was cooked nicely and had a home-made taste (I wish I could tell you what was missing from it, but I'm not sure what? Maybe salt.) There was barely any sauce at all. Overall it was disappointing but not inedible. My bf seemed to like his pizza more, I think he got more sauce but he agreed it was lacking. We also got an order of fries with the sub which would have been good hot. I attempted to order jalapeno poppers to which was informed they didn't have "jalapeno peppers" huh? She asked if I wanted stuffed peppers. Did I? I guess? Maybe they're out of poppers. I called back bc I rechecked the menu and they did offer both and I did not want stuffed peppers. So I tried to clarify I wanted the JALAPENO POPPERS not the stuffed peppers. Again I'm told they don't have jalapeno peppers. I'm being punked here surely, they're on the menu 2nd from the bottom I said. Oh POPPERS! (Yes, how many times did she think I would ask for something they didn't actually have?!‍) We were definitely having an Abbott and Costello moment here. This all of course was just beside the point, clearly this is just a comical misunderstanding (albeit a bit frustrating) that just demonstrates the need for more training on their end. The big issue here aside from some under seasoned pizza is that they told us 25 mins, when my bf got there, paid, had been sitting waiting for 5 or 6 minutes (while part of our order sat ready and waiting not even under heat [sub and fries] he was called up not to get his order but to say they had FORGOTTEN TO PUT OUR PIZZAS IN THE OVEN. ‍‍‍ So after about an hour since calling we were finally eating and my bf's dad unfortunately had a stone cold dinner (whose sub was missing 90% of the cheese and one lone slice of tomato). It bothers me that no one thought to remake the HOT food that had been made and sitting out for 40 minutes. Any manager worth their salt would have offered to remake it while the pizzas were finally cooking... but nope. A small discount or even a coupon for the next time at the very least... but nope. My favorite thing about this place is that their kitchen is open late, until midnight! My dad is in the restaurant business and we often find ourselves meeting him out late at night. We almost did not order based on the reviews. I ordered a large pizza and 20 wings. The pizza and wings were absolutely amazing. We were told it would take one hour for delivery. We actually got the food in 45 minutes. The crust portion of the pizza was cooked perfectly. The sauce was not acidic and had a very slight sweet taste. We like our chicken wings very crispy. Many times when we order from other places we do not get the wings cooked the way we order them. However, these wings were cooked to perfection. Everything was delivered hot and everyone enjoyed the food. The person who took her order was very nice. Most of the bad reviews seem to be related to issues with people dining in? Well....it started out great. My husband and I went in for a few drinks and lunch. We sat at the bar and Julie was great! Very friendly, and made you feel at home. We ordered, me a burger him cajun wings. Although the burger was over cooked, it was tasty and the fries delicious. The wings on the other hand tasted like a salt lick. We have had this wing flavor at another location and they were good. My husband orders this flavor at every restaurant we go, while the flavors vary in taste, they are good. These wings were TERRIBLE. After eating a wing (maybe a wing and and a half) we told Julie they were terrible. She asked what we wanted to replace and ordered them hot crispy...well Dave came out and confronted us asking what the problem was?? We told him the wings were way to salty and he proceeded to argue.... sad to say DAVE WAS VERY COMBATIVE and this visit ended poorly. Leo's in orchard park was always our go to pizza place so we were thrilled when they opened the Lancaster location which is closer to our house. This is our third or fourth time ordering pizza from this location and each time the bottom is burnt. We still ate the whole thing because even bad pizza is good but whoever is cooking these pizzas needs to figure it out and stop burning them.
