However, they have a rule that you're not allowed to contact the driver directly at all. I've never been told not to contact a driver in all the services I've ever used for airport or other pick ups so this seems very odd. They gave me the driver's phone number, but sent me many admonitions never to contact him before during or after the service. I always like to make sure with drivers myself that they understand what time to pick up, that they need to wear a mask, etc., etc. So not being able to do this left me very frustrated and not sure I'd do the service again. UPDATE MGL responded that they only asked me to not contact the driver before the trip. That's not true they sent me several texts that literally say "do not contact the driver before or after the trip" and they went onto continue messaging not to bother the driver as he may be with other clients.

The booking was on very short notice and the coordinator, Priscilla, was very helpful in braking down their rates and vehicle inventory. Thanks Priscilla! Ray, our driver, was a consummate professional. Great service, pleasant to talk to, and did a fantastic job shuttling us around San Francisco on a Saturday night. I can only imagine the hoops he had to jump through to park that monster of a car while my friends and I were enjoying our night on the town. Ray drove us all around the city and the east bay over the course of our evening. He did well dealing with late night traffic and city driving; the ride was smooth and we didn't have any close calls or scares that I sometimes get with the odd rideshare driver. What I paid for the excellent service was actually a bit less than I was expecting. The terms of the booking stipulated extra fees for drop-offs or stops outside of the pickup/dropoff location. Given we had been all around San Francisco and traveled through the east bay to drop off one of our party, I was pleasantly surprised to see that one stop was waived from the final bill. We had gotten a text around 2 hours before stating that they would be there to pick us up. After getting our luggage we proceeded the Limo pick up for our ride. After waiting around 1/2 hour I called the number we were given. We were told that there were more cars and that we should look for a taxi. I said we live 2 hours from the airport and that at that time of night we say no one not even a taxi! We had a contract for a ride and and that someone needed to get us home. He then told me that the driver had fallen asleep and nothing could be done. Just to add to the story my husband is 79 and I am 72 and we had just come off of a 5 hr flight . Since they had decided to abandon us at the airport we decided to find a hotel and I told them that I expected them to pay for it. Not until the next day did anyone even told us they were sorry. They finally came the next day! I would never use this service ever again. The person that gave me the recommendation was mortified and also would never use the again. Kris had given us a 10% discount for the return ride but because of that he didn't even pay the full hotel bill. No one should ever use them if the ride is important! You are kind, personable, sincere, generous and our families will never forget how special you made the Prom for the kids!!! Here's the deal- My son, his classmates and their dates, all have Autism. Coming from very diverse backgrounds, they all have one thing in common: their lives have not been easy. They have been bullied, beaten, under-loved and ignored. By teachers, the public that doesn't understand them, peers, etc. UNTIL they all met each other at the school they are SO blessed to go to NOW. MY son, in particular has endured A LOT and we have fought a hard fight against the school district and bullies, etc. This was my gift to him and his friends. They didn't care about riding around for hours or showing off. They cared about sitting in it with their friends and feeling those "feel good feelings" that many of us take for granted, daily. I decided to call around to see if we could get a limo to pick up the kids and drop them off. Maybe an hour, max 2, of time. I couldn't find people that would even call me back!!!! Oscar called me back in a matter of an hour! We all pitched in money to make it happen. MOST companies won't negotiate even if it is a special situation. This is what make Oscar exceptional. He made all of us moms, cry HAPPY tears. We have been through HELL and back not only with but, FOR our children. Oscar provided a limo for the kids and they were ECSTATIC!!!! They have memories that will last a lifetime, literally, because these kids do not forget ANYTHING!!! LOL!!! Oscar- THANK YOU!!!!!!!
