Have discovered this place recently through the Summer Fridays promo during the summer and got hooked on their frozen pistachio matcha with raspberry mixed in. A bit pricey though at $15 but came perfectly blended and in a container that is sealed with a can top. I also tried their carrot cake. $5 a slice and a pretty good one, not dry but not overly moist. Service is pretty fast in the mornings and you can dine in or take out. It's tucked in the back so you have to walk from the street but you can see a sign for it from the street so that's how you know you're going the right way. Casual Cali vibes in terms of the ambiance. There's free city parking in a garage across the street for 2 hours before 5pm which works well since they're only open during the daytime.

Let me start off by saying that my visit today was extremely disappointed. I waited 35 minutes for my food. My drink order was incorrect and I watched over 25 uber/ pick up orders get done and only when I threatened to leave was my ordered fulfilled. I came because I was interested in the summer Fridays collaboration, but was disappointed in the service. The blond guy filling orders was nice, but it's ridiculous to wait over 30 minutes for a single dish, especially when I ordered in person rather than online. I ordered the summer fridays latte, and they gave me the lemonade. I had to give him my receipt for the drink to be made correctly because they didn't believe me when I said it wasn't right. Then I waited another 25 minutes, checking in every 10, for my food order. I ordered the shakshuka, I was actually pretty good, but definitely not worth waiting as long as I did for it. It was frustrating that it took so long, especially since other pick up orders, like burritos came out so quickly.

Stopped in right when they opened to pick up the Summer Fridays lip balm. I got my coffee to go so I didn't sit down and was in and out super quick! The service was absolutely amazing, the cashier and servers were kind and informative. This collab is awesome value, $10 in exchange for a $24 lip balm and a latte!! I got the vanilla latte from the exclusive Summer Fridays menu, which is a vanilla latte with pistachio cream on top. I got the vanilla lip balm and a travel size Jet Mask and the pink bag. Super cute! Love how their drinks come in a can for portability. The coffee itself was okay, the vanilla latte isn't super sweet, but the pistachio cold foam was yummy! There were also bits of pistachio on the bottom. Overall, pretty good. This cafe is beautiful and has awesome service - will be back to dine in.

[what we got] Tuna Melt Sandwich Shakshuka Smoked Salmon Bagel Garlic Fries Frozen Coffee I keep hearing this place from everyone so I finally tried it! This place is located in the back of a building so it was a little tricky to find at first, and is very small. Most of the seating is outside and we waited around an hour on a Monday afternoon. The Tuna Melt was super crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside and super delicious! I also never had a shakshuka before and I also enjoyed that. The fries were thin and crispy but definitely a smaller portion. The coffee are put in a cute can and tasted like a Starbucks bottled frappuccinos, and didn't seem to have a lot of caffeine in it, but for $11 it was not worth it. It's missing the 2 stars because of the price and the location could've been a better place (only like 3 tables for indoor seating and was really hot outdoors) We didn't realize there was a Summer Fridays collab and we didn't buy any of the qualifying drinks but still got a jet lag mask! promo: Los Angeles! Visit LEORA to try their three collaboration drinks inspired by the indulgent scents of our Body Collection: Frozen Pistachio Matcha Pink Guava Lemonade Vanilla Crème Latte you'll receive a Lip Butter Balm + deluxe samples of our skincare bestsellers when you purchase one of our collaboration drinks.* Plus, this weekend only (July 31 - August 2)! The first 200 guests who purchase our collaboration drink each day will also receive a jelly tote + a travel size Body Butter Balm, available in Pink Guava, Pistachio Milk or Vanilla. $$ (~$20-30) parking garage is free first 2 hours

Stopped by this location because of the summer Fridays collab. I ordered the guava lemonade (which I hope they plan to keep on the menu longer than this month.) because it was delicious! It was fresh, right amount of tart and sweet and I loved it so much I went back twice! The staff were helpful nice and welcoming and with the amount of chaos occurring in such a small tight space, they handled it with ease and grace and I had a pleasant experience. If you've never been this place is hard to find even with signage posted. The have plenty of metered parking and the space is quaint with seating indoor and outdoor but with a collab as big as summer Fridays, it can really be overwhelming trying to fit over 200 people along with accommodation for normal staff wanting to eat in. I plan to return and try other items on their menu.

Leora's iced matcha was the perfect heat wave rescue: ice-cold, smooth, and earthy with just the right touch of sweetness. On a scorching day it hit the spot so well, it might be the best matcha I've had all season.

The food, drinks and baked goods here are phenomenal! Rightfully so they are always extremely busy. They managed the crowds well and move through the lines quickly. Service is wonderful, extremely friendly and efficient. Their tuna sandwich is one of my favorites, their Matcha is also some of the best in the city! Prices are fair, considering the quality in the portions are generous. Ideal for lunch with the girls, I suggest takeout if you do not feel like waiting for a table.

Super cute spot in Beverly Hills for brunch and lunch. Everyone was ordering the tuna melt, so I had to order the tuna melt. The fries were yummy- very thin shoestring fries. Lots of Mediterranean options too. I wish I could have tried more things. The tuna melt is just the sandwich and does not come with anything else. The house made sourdough was real good!

A colleague brought in a couple drinks in these cool 'cans' over the weekend. I didn't take one since I don't drink matcha, and the other was a strong coffee (it was later in the day) so I knew I had to discover this place on my own. Arriving on a Monday around 11a, I parked in the garage on Rexford/Civic Center Dr. and as per Leora's website, walked across the street down a small driveway (look for the LEORA sign) and came to a host stand. Past that, there was a doorway with a lot of customers standing around. I asked one guy if he ordered and he directed me to the counter since I wasn't sure where I needed to be. The wait to get help was about 3 minutes, which doesn't seem long but when you're standing there and there are several employees rushing around and people start lining up behind you, it feels like forever. One girl with short hair and glasses kind of acknowledged us but didn't say anything to help the situation with a, 'we will be with you shortly.' I will say it did seem rather busy as they were carrying bags to the other counter for pick up orders. As I looked around, only a few tables were taken but there were reserved signs on every empty table surrounding them. Finally, this same girl came back and said she could help, so I placed my order for an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Total was $8.24 and while I was paying, she handed over a small white bag which normally would contain pastries. This was the last day for the Summer Friday event, and I would have thought they would have been out of this since earlier in the month, but in it were three samples. Considering I didn't order one of the collaboration drinks, I was pleasantly surprised; figuring maybe they had way too product or she felt bad for our long wait. The people behind me who had to wait received one as well. They call out your name and you can pick up sugar, straws, etc. right in that area. I picked up a powder blue straw and took it outside to get out of the way. This was a pretty strong coffee; I started drinking cofffee over the summer again, but this was the kind that was probably going to get me wired before I crash later on. It wasn't bad though, and I did finish it within 10 minutes. I admit I liked the design of the coffee 'cup', which popped open like a soda can. My experience here was overall a good one; service once received was pleasant, so I'm happy there was no issue there. I even saw a special I would be interested in trying had I been there for food, so I'd like to return to try something else. Parking was 2-hours free at the lot across the way, even around 11a it was packed though, so I recommend coming maybe later since this is where the police station and library area among other businesses.

It's a cute casual spot, they have indoor and patio seating. I tried to tuna melt and would get it again, but if you're not a tuna fan, you may not be impressed. I tried the iced coffee which was good and got the frozen Matcha to go. It was good but I could get better elsewhere nonetheless I would definitely come again. It's a good vibe. Customer service is good!

    Breakfast Burrito

Came by for brunch and thought it was a solid spot! Leora is cafe tucked in a building off Beverly Hills Civic Center Drive. We had made a reservation ahead of time since it tends to get busy. Service was efficient. I tried the breakfast burrito and frozen matcha (half sweet). The burrito was yummy and the frozen matcha was not bad, although the matcha quality itself was just okay. We didn't feel rushed per se, but we did get the sense they were waiting for us to head out once we finished so they could open up the table. One fun detail we loved was how cute their takeout bags were! Parking in the nearby public garage (2 hours free) or street parking.

Summer Fridays collab menu (until August 31)
    Graschelle H.

Came for the Summer Fridays pop-up brand event on a weekday shortly after they opened and thankfully it wasn't busy at that time. I tried the frozen pistachio matcha with raspberry puree and I enjoyed the drink. While the flavors were fun together and I liked the unique ice blended version of a matcha, the ceremonial grade matcha essence got a bit lost and was also a bit too milky. Service wasn't the warmest; the employee at the register said that I couldn't get a Summer Fridays product if I ordered another drink for my friend while she was at work, which I was a bit bummed about since I saw online that others were able to get a product per drink from their collab menu. Price was also on the steeper side ($13 before tax and tip, ended up around $16 total), but can't really complain since it's free beauty goodies. I was given the vanilla lip butter balm and a mini jet lag mask! There is free parking for a couple of hours in the nearby parking garage (make sure you double check because there are some paid ones close by also). Finding the cafe was a bit tough since it's kinda hidden away, but follow the signage! I took my drink to-go, but they have cute indoor and outdoor seating options. They have free WiFi, but enforce a no laptop policy during lunch time. Overall, I was happy to come for the event, but am not particularly eager to return for their drinks.

Leora captures the essence of LA good and bad with its laid back cafe style, over priced coffee drinks, and food offerings like avocado toast. This is not meant to be a negative review, just simply trying to capture the vibe of the place. I think their canned coffee concept is definitely unique and such a cute idea. Flavor wise, the coffee was better than average, and the packaging really sold it for me. However, the spot was pretty crowded, more of a trendy place rather than a forever go-to coffee spot for me.

We walked in expecting a quiet lunch and quickly realized the World Cup was on. The screening room was packed with members watching the match, and it was fun seeing everyone so invested in the game. Since we wanted to catch up, we headed to the garden patio instead. There were plenty of people enjoying lunch outside, though it never felt loud. We never had to raise our voices to hear each other, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Our server was fantastic. She checked on us throughout the meal, kept our drinks refreshed, and always seemed to know when to stop by and when to give us space. We never felt rushed, which made the afternoon even more enjoyable. We started with the calamari to share. I ordered the Faroe Island king salmon with sautéed spinach and chimichurri, and my friend had the chopped salad. The salmon had a beautiful sear and was cooked perfectly, while the chimichurri added just the right amount of brightness. We each ordered the cucumber cocktail, mine with vodka and his with gin. It was crisp, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted on such a hot afternoon. It paired especially well with the salmon. One detail I really appreciate about Soho House is its no-photo policy. After spending a few hours there, it made perfect sense. Around us, people were catching up with friends, having meetings, enjoying lunch, or watching the match without phones constantly pointed around the room. It made the entire space feel more relaxed, and I found myself appreciating being somewhere that encouraged people to be present with each other. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. We were able to settle in, enjoy a great meal, and spend a few hours catching up without ever feeling like our table was needed for the next reservation. By the time we left, I completely understood why so many people enjoy being members. One last detail worth mentioning is valet. The attendants were friendly, professional, and efficient. It's a small touch, but it made arriving and leaving effortless.

The front desk was dismissive, no one offered to help with luggage despite the stairs leading to reception, and the elevator and hallways were extremely hot. When I mentioned the heat, the manager simply shrugged and explained that none of their locations have A/C in those areas. The hotel itself is extremely dated. Our room was standard-sized, felt small for California, and was overpriced for the quality and experience. The food was decent--the burger was pretty good and the sashimi was fresh. The restaurant wait staff were actually the saving grace: friendly, attentive and hospitable. Overall, Soho House seems to rely heavily on its name and exclusivity rather than delivering an elevated experience. There are better private clubs with better service, better facilities and far less attitude. Two stars. The restaurant staff earned the second one.
