I will have to say this was the best pizza we ever ate. We had the Ricotta and spinach specialty pizza and added sausage. Out of this world fantastic! Crust was perfect as well

Wow, this small shop on Plum Street serves surprisingly delicious pizza! I got a large pizza, plain cheese, which was only $15. While I did get takeout, the men working in the shop assisted me in getting the pie into my car. Get customer service and they were ready in just 30 minutes. The pizza itself is truly excellent. Firstly, that crust is amazing. It's like a very high quality bread. Nice and soft, but has some crispness to it as well. It is a little thick at the edges but not overly thick at the lower regions of the pie. Cheese is quite quality as well, not overly salty and used in an adequate amount. I think the sauce to cheese ratio is spot on, it is not too oily, but the sauce is a little on the sweet side. Still very good, though. All in all, I'd highly recommend this place. Maybe check out some of the specialty pies like spinach/artichoke, pierogi, white pizza, or even their signature Chicago-style pies. Even the plain cheese is amazing, though!

My son got a Buffalo Chicken pizza and he said, it was awesome as well too! All I can say is I'll be getting my pizzas from there now. It's a must try guys!! Definitely well worth it! Enjoy

First and foremost, this was the most pleasant, most accommodating pizza shop I've ever been in. Seriously everyone seemed like they loved working there and the owner was passionate about pizza. I placed a large order of wings, fries pickles, Chicago style, and white pizza, oh and a salad also. Wings were excellent, they were large and a normal price point for wings (I hate when places charge a dollar a wing). I could have definitely done without the fries pickles. Now to the pizza: the standard white pizza was very tasty and I enjoyed that it wasn't too plain. The Chicago style: I went in without too high of hopes because I've had a lot of deep dish and Chicago pizza. Let me start by saying that if you know Chicago pizza this is more of a Pequods style than a Giordano's or Lou's style. The owner joked while I was in there that someone said it was better then Giordanos and I enjoyed the excitement. This pizza, like Pequods, has much more dough than a true deep dish. (PS I do absolutely love Pequods it's just different than deep dish) they call it "Chicago style" here so they aren't wrong on that it's just not a deep dish. It's a cross between your Detroit Style and your traditional Chicago style. To the owners: I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza and you're on the right track, if you want it to be more like a Giordanos, you need less dough on the bottom (sides were perfect) and WAY MORE CHEESE. You need to be able to get that huge cheese pull with a deep dish pizza. Anyways. If you're looking for a taste tester I'm available.

A great spot in Oakmont, perhaps the best pizza I've had in Oakmont. The place isn't much to look at, a blink and you'll miss it kind of place, but don't let that fool you. Their menu is surprisingly huge and prices are very reasonable. The Hawaiian pizza I had was so good, importantly their pizza sauce and crust stand out. Will definitely be back here.

1st time going. And in my girlfriends words "This is the closest your getting to deep dish pizza that taste like its from Chicago." I've never beeN to Chicago but this deep dish was very good. Very friendly young couple own it. Enjoyed talking to them. Will be back when craving a deep dIsh.

This shop will cook your pizza half cooked, as a lot of people like. We like ours well done cooked even longer than maybe the traditional cook time so we always request that. When my son went to pick up our pizza it was already sitting on the counter it had not been 15 since minutes since the order was placed. When he grabbed the box it was kinda wet on the bottom of box so we don't know if they set it on the counter on top of something ,but it was more than just extra sauce and onions that made the soggy like they assumed. We tried to recook it and when we took the pizza out of the box all the cardboard inside of the box was wet like something had been literally poured inside the box. I could barely get it out because it was so soggy it was falling apart. We live less than 5 minutes driving time so it was not from steam and cooking it more once we got home did not help it was that wet.. I have never seen pizza that soggy. I had my son call and they did not offer anything except advice on not to order onions or extra sauce when its humid out. We would have like a re-cooked pizza and to return the one we had especially since we had company. It was too wet to pick up a slice and inedible. So, if the owners see this maybe they'd like to somehow rectify it because now I have to start my grill to feed my company. Furthermore, if a customer orders extra sauce and onions on a pizza that.we are asking to be cooked well done an your only job is to cook pizza, you should advise the customer that it won't be crisp. We've ordered it that way before.. and as I said this was far beyond just soggy it was literally wet..and the 2 that ventured to eat it ,now have a stomach ache. It was most certainly undercooked and so wet it couldn't even be rebaked.

My default when I don't feel like being disappointed…read more @thepubat333 is that easy "let's just go to..." and no one argues it because it just...works. There's enough going on menu-wise that everyone figures it out, and I'm not exaggerating-every single time I've been there since they opened, someone at the table orders a French dip. Every. time. It's basically part of the experience now. Also if I see pierogi, I'm ordering pierogi. That's just who I am. Could've taken down the entire plate without blinking but I shared like a respectable adult (meanwhile mentally tracking which ones were supposed to be mine). It's just a laid back, neighborhood spot that doesn't try to be anything crazy and still ends up being exactly what you wanted. Fun fact: my friend and I once prank called from their landline, the owner immediately called back, we answered like nothing happened, and yeah...the phone was no longer an option for us after that

Bar seating was almost full with only a couple seats. Heard good things about their pizza too. There's free parking in the lot (although small). Shout out to our bartender Ange! The black and bleu shrimp was absolutely amazing. It's got blackened spice and has this creamy sauce that makes you go dip for more (I need that recipe honestly). If I had some bread, I'd definitely use this as a dip lol. We got the thin crust Sicilian pizza to share. The pizza unfortunately was very wet and kind of soggy. I think they could have waited to let it rest for a few min before serving because it would especially show when we were separate the slices and try to take one off the plate. I don't usually want my toppings and cheese to just slide off the pizza. Also since we were at a bar w/ some of the games going on, we wanted wings and got their crispy whole wings in a dry spice rub. They were pretty big wings and well seasoned -- not too spicy though if that's not your vibe.

Since there aren't many Afghan places around, I wanted to try as much of the menu as possible. I decided to try the bolani kachalo, tandoori samosa, chicken kebab with brown rice, homemade cake, and Afghan naan. The food was very good. The chicken kebab came in a generous portion. The chicken was cooked perfectly and quite tender. It was juicy and flavorful but not too spicy. There was also a refreshing side salad with some creamy sauce on the side, which was very good. The rice was well cooked too but nothing special and had no extra seasoning. I do wish they had a yogurt sauce come with it complimentary. The bolani was interesting. The portions here are large and this was large too. It's a tad crispy on the outside and has potato and some leeks on the inside I believe. It's good but nothing special. Does have some spice to it. The samosa was once again also quite large but surprisingly light. It's delicious with fresh, juicy lamb on the inside. The corners are crispy. This was pretty perfect. Maybe a tad more seasoning but still very good. The naan at this place is some of the best I've tried in terms of value. It's absolutely huge, like, bigger than a persons head. Think pizza size. Crispy bottom and soft on top. Very good. Finally, the homemade cake was a nice sweet treat to end off the day. Nothing too special but good. It had cream and orange pieces throughout. Like an orange Swiss roll but better. I liked it and it was cheap. All in all, a great new addition to Blawnox. I love the homemade feel and how fresh + delicious everything is. Would definitely recommend!
