I really dug this place. It is tough, in this area, to find good pizza. Or to find pizza at all. So much is geared toward seafood. Thankfully we found Leonardo's. I really enjoyed myself here. First off, their menu is huge. It is not just pizza. You can get sandwiches, tenders, burgers, Franks, anything really. I love the feel of the inside which is all brick. Prices are good. It is a comfortable casual atmosphere and the pizza was quite good. They do sell slices. Leonardo's is a little off the beaten path but I enjoyed it. They offer both good food and a really cool atmosphere.

Not a fair rating, only stopped in for a couple slices. Slices were fresh, sauce was good, dough was soft. Wasn't bad but wasn't great either.

I just met her, but I felt like I was coming home. I waited for my friend to arrive & a couple bar seats to open up, and there were about two dozen people who came in after me while the wait was predicted to be an hour since most had just been seated, so they left. I wish they waited because it did clear up after about 30-40 minutes, but it was hard to predict on a Thursday at 7:30pm during a random downpour. I would encourage anyone to try The Burn, and to wait if needed. It's updated nicely, a bit cozy yet spacious when you're seated. Jess, our bartender, is also very welcoming and hospitable. I ordered a Gold Rush: ghost tequila, cointreau, pineapple, jalapeño & lime; I recall telling my friend, "this is exactly how I wish all my drinks tasted." I ordered the meatballs appetizer, and they got the haddock sandwich. The fries were excellent, and the meatballs were great. My friend loved their sandwich, fresh local haddock of course. Jess helped me make my decision between 3 options and it was perfect for my tastes and appetite of the evening. gold rush 10/10 meatballs 10/10 The Burn has excellent food & service, an elevated casual vibe, and warm, welcoming service. I will return here, and highly recommend it. They are located at the Blackburn building built in 1900, and just celebrated their 1st anniversary. She made me a yummy espresso martini, and let my husband borrow her cheaters (glasses) so he could read the menu! We started with the butter & garlic shrimp appetizer and split the steak tips dinner, served with French fries. Both dishes were delicious. When we left, the hostess came after us thinking we had left our eye glasses on the bar. What a sweetie. We told her they're Aprils!

It's a true Italian bakery feel. Lunchtime is going to be busy because people always wanna get their food there and I totally understand. I'm the same exact way!

They'd gotten some coverage on a local news show which probably helped fill today's doors, but I've become a regular and they are always busy--but not too busy to have to wait long. The owners are named Rob and Cassandra, both of whom are trained chefs, which means their food is done so well! They bake their freaking bread fresh every single day, and it's wicked good. The chopped sandwich today was so amazing and was way better than some of the ones I've had which seem to dominate reels today. They had some kind of spicy crunchy garlic mayo which was fantastic and didn't overpower the meats. They don't pre-make these or any sandwiches, each made to order, which is so awesomely old-school. Their quality of deli meat and cheese is really exemplary, not grocery store Boar's Head. They have a great, but modestly sized, selection of imported Italian goods including fantastic olive oil, pastas, conservas like anchovies and even caponata! I also urge you to get a made-to-order cannoli, which was absolutely among the best I've ever had. The generous, sweet ricotta filling was thick, but not dense or cloying; we got pistachio and shared one, which was as strategic as slicing a brownie six ways, in the office, to reduce calories. Anyhow, I'm not on the payroll, nor even related, or I'd be there again right now.
