I literally dream about eating the food and drinking the drinks there. The spa itself is what i would rate pretty decent at a 3.5/5. I came here with my girlfrends to do a scrub. I think they packaged a deal where you can get a scrub and a 30 min massage for just a tad more. For my first time scrub experience.. it was an experience for sure and you have to really love and be comfortable with your body. When you check in, you will receive your locker key, uniform, and can request for toothbrush and razor as needed. Next you put your shoes and then your belongings and strip down! The wet sauna area is FULL nude. And you'll see people walking around naked in the locker room. You will be required to shower before you get into the hot tubs or sauna rooms. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You can bring your own as well! Compared to other spas i've gone to, the have a bar soap and some decent shampoos. I just think its weird to have a communal bar soaps around. I tried to find the soap bodywash. The hot tubs were soo relaxing as well as the steam rooms. I felt all more pores opening. There is also a cold plunge for those who like that. If you are doing a scrub they will call your number (your key number) and lead you to the scrubbing tables. They are separated stalls but its in an open room. There will be a korean aunty in a swimsuit that will instruct you to turn front back side to side as she starts scrubbing you. When you get to the point of no flacks given, life is so relaxing. I let aunty scrub me down and descale me like a fish and I watched all my dead skin melt off. I do have to say they get pretty close to the crotch area and also pretty close to your crack. It caught me by suprise as I didnt think they'd go there but they are respectful and will put a towel in your nether regions. But literally no area was not baby skin smooth afterwards. What also caught me by suprise was it also included a hair wash and a freshly grated cucumber facial. I left feeling so good and i dried off, uniformed and met my friends at the common area. Common room is really relaxing and "room temp" and then you can increase in temp with the different rooms they have. There is a relatively room temp room (bamboo) and a cold room (which i love, basically a freezer). You can order drinks and snacks to the common room via kiosk. When we got hungry, we had to exit through the front desk area and enter the restaurant. And again the best food i've ever had and drinks. We were 3 girls and ordered 2 things. Bossam and the galbitang and STUFFED was an understatement. We ate so much and had enough to take home. We went back to spa and came back for their bingsoo which was so good! Special shoutout to the rice water tea and the peach fruit tea. SO GOOD. Spa itself, I do wish some amenities are updated. But the restaurant is really the reason why I keep coming to this spa.

If its your first time, get there early as its a little hard to find her suite among the maze of other suites. Her suite is self contained, and comes with a head basin, gaur stylist chair, an updright hair dryer, and a cabinet to store towels, as if she was a hair dresser. She had to provide her own flat chair so she could do eyelashes, which took up a good part of the room. The room is quiet, so you don't hear neighbors. It has its own central air, and Jessica provided shades over the window for privacy. Plenty of parking out front and I like her new location.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment.
