I only ever been to the Korean spas in LA but K Spa in Buena Park is now my new favorite. The…read moreentrance fee is very reasonable and I purchased the basic scrub. K Spa is in a corner shopping area with a big parking lot. It was surprisingly busy on Saturday but I was able to find parking. The staff were very friendly. As soon as I entered the locker area I was greeted by one of the staff that asked me if it was my first time. She showed me where all the different areas were. The facilities were pretty clean. It was a busy day but it did not feel overcrowded. Everyone was really respectful and it was not too loud. I like that they provide some common amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hairspray, and qtips. I brought my own shower supplies and they had convenient baskets where I could place my products while I showered. They constantly brought out fresh towels as well. The towels are small so if you want a bigger towel you should bring your own. Inside the women's area they have warm bath, hot bath, cold bath, steam sauna, and dry sauna. They also have a seated and standing shower area. The scrubbing area is in the back past the pools. They have a clock so that you can keep an eye out for your appointment time. But the scrubbing women do come out and call out for your number. I got called in a little before my appointment time. They do recommend you arrive 30mins before your appointment to soak in the tubs. The body scrub was really nice and the lady was very nice. It was a relaxing scrub with a good amount of pressure so I felt that she was getting the dead skin off. They also put product on your face and hair. The hair/head massage felt really nice and the products left my hair feeling soft. They give you an envelope to tip but they also have zelle and venmo if you do not have cash. The common area is smaller than the other spas I have been to but very nice. I did enjoy the salt room. Everyone was really respectful and kept pretty quiet. There is also a kiosk where you can order from the cafe. They text you when the order is ready and you have to go back out to the front to pick up your order. They provide slippers for you to put on and then you can bring the food back to the common area. The kiosk has limited options. For more food you can go to the restaurant itself with your spa clothes. The restaurant is very small so gets busy quickly. The food is delicious though.

First time back since the reopening, and it felt smaller than I remembered. One thing that stood…read moreout was having to walk over to a neighboring restaurant in the same building to pick up the food, which was a bit unusual. There was also an ice room with "do not touch" signs that felt a little sketchy, especially with kids around made me a bit uneasy. That said, the overall atmosphere was still nice, warm, and comforting. I'm on the fence about coming back, but my daughter really enjoyed it as a fun outing, which definitely counts for something.

AJ, the owner, is a cool dude...and his wife is great too. AJ is definitely a talker and very upfront with the rules, but they're simple and reasonable. As long as you listen, respect the space, and follow directions, your visit will go smoothly every time. Rinsing and washing off before and after is mandatory, which honestly just keeps the place clean and enjoyable for everyone. They're open daily Monday through Sunday, opening at 12pm and usually closing at 2am...sometimes later depending on the day and request. Walk-ins are welcome. Cash is preferred, but they do accept credit cards as well. The rooms are very intimate and relaxing. Some rooms include a sauna, and all rooms have a shower. The lighting is moody and adjustable from bright to dim. Radios with Bluetooth are available, blow dryers are provided, and they supply full body towels and washcloths. You're also allowed to drink and smoke inside the rooms. Cups and ashtrays are provided, and if you bring a drink that comes in a glass bottle, they give you a plastic container to pour it into since glassware isn't allowed in the rooms for safety reasons. It's a solid, well-maintained spot that's clearly been doing things right for a long time. I highly recommend Neptune's Lagoon and will forever book a visit here whenever I'm in the area.

Jessica, my eyelash extension person, moved to this location in March 2015. I thought this was a typical salon, where she gets a station located inside a big salon. This place is not the case. Upon walking in, you are greeted by a small reception area and a marquee with a listing of the different tenants, and a layout of the place. I located Jessica in Suite 106 and I thought she was in a station, not an actual enclosed suite. If its your first time, get there early as its a little hard to find her suite among the maze of other suites. Her suite is self contained, and comes with a head basin, gaur stylist chair, an updright hair dryer, and a cabinet to store towels, as if she was a hair dresser. She had to provide her own flat chair so she could do eyelashes, which took up a good part of the room. The room is quiet, so you don't hear neighbors. It has its own central air, and Jessica provided shades over the window for privacy. Plenty of parking out front and I like her new location.

The massage was not very relaxing. Juanita used short quick motions that made my muscles tense up... kinda reminded me of the same forceful motions that one would use on a manual washboard. And candidly, it felt like she was in quite a rush. (No, I didn't say anything to her because I wanted the full authentic experience that Fejjab Spa offers.) But she was very nice but not very skilled. Also, my massage ended way before my time should have. (I arrived a few minutes late, but even then, the massage ended at least 15 minutes earlier than the original time and there was no clarification if my time would be cut short or allowed to run for the amount of time that I purchased.) This was my first back facial. I was really looking forward to it because I knew there was a bunch of interesting things that I could not reach. The whole experience would have been immensely more enjoyable if they offered a heating lamp. What I discovered during my first experience is with all of the liquids, creams, lotions, and mask, my entire back was exposed and I was cold the entire time. I think the cold from the facial undid any relaxation from the massage. Perhaps the quality of service could have been given more grace, if the services weren't so expensive. I feel this experience was over-priced when compared to far more luxurious establishments offering the same services for less. Though my experience was disappointing,
