I feel awful it's taken me so long to write a review but Quality Construction Works is fantastic…read more Elias was professional but also personable. He has great communication skills, always keeping up with us via email or text. He had two other men he worked with and they were fast and polite. As a woman, I've felt uncomfortable being alone with or I've been condescended to by other contractors. I never felt this way with Elias and his team. That's worth a lot to me. We hired Quality Construction to install drywall and insulation in our basement. It was done fast and they did a good job. He was accommodating when we had to have them break for an electrician to come in. It was done in about three days. One of the guys accidentally broke a lamp and Elias offered to reimburse us for it. He's a stand-up guy and he does a great job.

Extremely Disappointed! I truly believe Dagmo Morais does "not" hire license/bonded employees for…read morerenovations. After retrieving the normal half retainer he left the state and did not return until 3 days of completion. This means for over a month there was NO ONE supervising. Each area of project had to be redone more then twice. And the mess and personal property damages they left behind were astonishing. Its also unfortunate none of his employees speak English which becomes a barrier when needing direction. If you dont mind the results being "just ok" from unpaid employees who ask you for their money then Ephraim Floors is for you. Good luck

We used The Finishing Company to repair our stairs and replace the wood balusters with iron ones. I…read morefound the company through all of the excellent reviews left on AngiesList. Brian was very easy to communicate with and took care of ordering all of the supplies. They came by the following week and completed the install as scheduled. They were very tidy using drop cloths on the carpet and cleaned up after themselves; unlike a lot of handymen/ contractors. Our staircase not only looks better, but is as solid as a rock and not all wobbly like it was before. The price was fair and I would highly recommend using them for staircase work or any other carpentry projects, such as molding or built-in's. I have uploaded a before and after pic to this review.

Well fast forward almost a year later and now there is a baby in the house that is ready to move. In my childproofing quest, I told my husband that now is the time to get the stair handrail fixed. He found The Finishing Company. We advised Brian why rods we would like and that our stairwell was loose. Brian said no problem. We got our stair handrail fixed and new rods added in less than five hours. It is such an improvement. Brian is meticulous. He made sure to vacuum up dust every little step along the way. Now when I come home, I get to not only see a beautifully staircase but I feel a great piece of mind that the stair handrail is sturdy enough for once my baby is mobile.

We HIGHLY recommend giving Darren an opportunity to look at your project…read more When is the last time you caught yourself (or your significant other) just staring at a floor for 10 minutes at a time? Because of Darren, we do it every day! Darren refinished a ~30 year old hardwood floor that had yellowed, shown wear from traffic, had missing pieces of wood, and damage from chemical spills. From the very first time I reached out, his communication was excellent. He visited our home to see the floor, take measurements, and recommend and explain a refinishing process. Darren gave us options for type of polyurethane, colors, finish (matte vs. gloss) while offering recommendations from his many decades of experience. Within several hours we had a very fair quote and were booked several weeks out. Darren spent a few days on property and was incredibly respectful of our home and us when we would ask a question or two. He worked his magic to sand and protect our floor to a condition we would have never expected - just see for yourself. Overall, working with Darren was an exceptional experience that greatly improved our living space for the next couple of decades and likely longer.
