My husband, Rick, was referred to Dr. Yang by our dentist, Dr. Chan. Dr. Chan consulted with Dr. Yang and they felt that Rick was a prime candidate for dental implants. Thanks to these wonderfully talented professionals, our expectations were far exceeded. They changed my husband's life (and mine, in turn). Rick was always plagued by dental problems his whole life. Such issues eventually lead him to false teeth at a relatively early age. Once his teeth were gone, he longed for his own teeth and a beautiful smile. He started smiling less and less. Rick's was a complex case that involved remaining teeth extractions and dental implants to have permanent teeth rather than using the annoying, removable dentures. Dr. Yang and his team has absolutely changed my life for the better. An atrocious looking mouth has always been a problem and an insecurity for me. When my permanent adult teeth grew in, they were already spotted, discolored and gapped. To make matters worse, they were attached to big bulging pink gums. Very similar to a goat or horse. About 18 years ago I sought out professional help for my dental issues and was told that the only option I had was laser whitening for the discoloration. I have known Dr. Yang for several years. I became a patient of Dr. Yang's soon after he purchased the practice from Dr. Wong over 10 years ago. Since the turnover, I have witnessed a complete transformation going from a traditional, & stale looking practice to an innovative, fresh and relaxing atmosphere with upgraded technology and more services being offered. Not only do they do great restorative work, but they now offer digital x-rays along with cosmetic and periodontal dentistry as well. I have noticed they are constantly trying to improve and further develop all aspects of their practice. They use top of the line equipment and if I have any questions about what is being done, Dr. Yang will explain exactly what he is doing and why in addition to showing me pictures. It gives me comfort in knowing that I am being treated by someone who will take the time to explain things to me in a way I can understand. I have always felt as though the doctors at this practice genuinely care about the well being of their patients and not the amount of money they are making. Lucky me that I found Dr. Yang and his staff. I had been going to the same dentist for 35 years and since he retired it has been way too long since I've seen a dentist. I quickly felt at ease walking in the door at Dr. Yang's office. The staff quickly guided me through my appointment with check-in,and ex-rays. Dr. Yang did the checkup, photos, and then went over every tooth on a television screen so I could personally view. This is something I've never experienced. I saw first hand. I have extensive work to be done.Dr. Yang said they would send me an itemized cost prior to any work so there would be no surprises and I would be clear. I had my teeth cleaned and the gal was wonderful as well. Wish I remembered her name. I am very anxious and yet was calm under her care. Also, Dr. Yang was there asking her if she found any surprises during the cleaning. Lucky for me she said no. I received a call when I got home saying there had been a slight over-charge on the cleaning and to please call the office. Thank you for watching out for me. I have been told for years that my wisdom teeth would become a problem. After 3 years of Orthodontics i wasn't in a big hurry to have my teeth pulled out .. My Girlfriend Recommended I contact Dr Yang's office to have them removed..I called his emergency line and explained to Dr Yang the issues I was having and sent him a e-mail of some old x-rays. The office was closed for the weekend but he still had me come in to take a look. His assistant came in also. A 3D scan of my jaw as taken and Dr Yang showed me in detail the damage my wisdom teeth were causing to my bone gums and other teeth. Surprisingly he was ready to do it that day. I've never had a tooth pulled so I had Anxiety, but his assistant explained in detail how the procedure would go and what to expect. I choose a movie from their NETFLIX collection and watched Hangover 2 using their WIFI sunglasses. I had two teeth pulled and I plan to return to have the other ones done also. Dr. Yang and his assistant were Awesome. I even got a phone call from him to see if I was doing OK after my visit .I look forward to completing any treatment I need with him and his team. I've just started going to Dr. Yang's office, and WOW, I am impressed. I have reluctantly put off going to the dentist for years, and I need a lot of work done. I wish, I would have found this office years ago!!! Dr. Yang is very professional and explains everything prior, during and after every treatment. The have the best in technology, but the staff is just over the top. Sierra is absolutely amazing!!! She has really helped me feel comfortable about everything. Veronica is just amazing too. She was sure to tell me not to worry, they were going to put be back together again!! :) I love that, and yes they are!!! After avoiding the dentist for a few years I decided to schedule an appointment @ Yang & Lee's Dental office. This was one of the best decision's of my life. I came in concerned about tooth issue. Dr. Yang was very detailed in his exam. He took his time and answered all of my questions in regards to my dental concerns. He gave me the best recommendations to start taking control of my dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Yang's dental office. I was greeted by his friendly staff, who were also very helpful and knowledgeable in answering and explaining detailed questions I had about insurance coverage. Dr Leo Yang is the BEST in CA! I needed extractions and crown work done and have not had good experiences in So. Cal. (I live in So Cal but go to Nor Cal regularly), I decided to give Dr Yang a try and have been going to him for the last 9 months every time I visit. During our initial visit, Dr Yang did a thorough and detailed exam and discussed a plan and provided options. Dr Yang's office is equipped with the state of the art technology - 3D x-ray scans, photographs and in house crown making machine. Dr Yang extracted a tooth (painless), replaced some crowns and replaced the extracted tooth with implants (no pain either). During one of my visit, I lost my veneer and he was able to make a new one on the same day and I was able to proudly smile with my teeth showing. Overall, I am very happy with the care that has been given to me, the professionalism, the efficiency and the latest technology that Dr. Yang used to get the job done. The experience I've had with Dr. Yang and his team has been phenomenal.  From day one I was treated so kindly and professionally. My first appointment was a consultation, everything was discussed at length. With follow up appointments, and some preliminary work on my teeth, I had no doubts  walking in for my procedure, and was absolutely confident. To further enhance my experience and ensure that everything was done perfectly and on the same day, Dr. Yang had his in lab technician, Sean, there who used expert technology to perfect the shape, color and fit of my veneers. My smile was costomized just right, where some of my adjacent teeth were also filed and fixed so that everything blended and my smile was beautiful again. If I had known that this would be the end result, I would have done this procedure sooner, and I would do it again if I had to. Look no one wants to be at the dentist. I'll be honest, I have the worst teeth from way back. Only wish I had taken better care years ago I have always put off the work from the treatment plans provided by Dr. Yang only to find that the work got more expensive to fix the longer I waited. I should have done the work at the first sign of trouble. Something that could have been a simple crown worked its way into a root canal on one occasion. I've been going to Dr. Yang for over 15 years. Never once has he pushed extra unneeded work on me. I particularly like that he is current on the newest equipment and techniques available. He uses digital x-rays(instant pictures) and has a machine that makes the crowns right in the office as you wait. He is fast and gentle. I still have dental work from when I first came in that is in great shape. I would highly recommend this office. My teenage daughter also goes here but she has great teeth, I made sure of that. read more

One would think since I work in the dental field, it would be easy to find a good dentist. I have put off repairing a tooth, because of the fear and pain usually associated with dental work. When I met Dr. Yang, I knew he was the right dentist for the job. Dr. Yang's Staff were helpful, and very thorough, regarding my benefits. Dr. Yang has a wonderful bed side manner, explaining everything fully. He was honest and answered all my questions patiently. My filling needed to be taken out, and fitted with a crown. I was impressed with how fast and comfortable the procedure was. Dr. Yang used a device which provides a "painless" injection. He was also very meticulous when it came to designing my new crown. With all the technology and expertise he possesses, I was able to walk out the same day (less than 2 hours, really) with a new and improved tooth! My new crown looks amazing! A month ago I broke a molar and needed a crown -- fast, but dreaded the long involved process of fitting a temporary while a lab fabricated the final product. To my surprise, Dr. Yang has the equipment in-house, and was able to mill a crown while I waited. In and out in three hours, and an absolutely perfect fit. While I waited for the crown he took care of a filling. I have very few fillings, and frankly wondered if I really needed another, but after he opened the cavity he took a digital photo of the tooth and there was that cavity in all it's hi-rez nastiness. His x-rays are also digital, and available for viewing in seconds. If work is needed, those x-rays leave nothing to the imagination. Speaking of x-rays, my wife has some bone issues. Dr. Yang was able to do a CAT scan of her jaw -- once again, digital and in-house. I doubt there is a more competent, better equipped dentist in Marin. read more

From the first visit, I have remained so impressed with Dr. Yang's knowledge and professionalism. His staff complements the experience! Anaiza, Sierra, Laura, Amily and Veronica are great!!!! He spends a lot of time explaining treatment options; he uses the latest technology to both illustrate and treat whatever dental issues are presented. He is a perfectionist..if he doesn't think results are perfect, he will redo until the best possible outcome is reached. How often do you encounter that kind of professionalism??? I recently cracked a front tooth and after completing the veneer, he insisted (though I was OK with it) that I return as he felt the color result was not to his high standards. He redid the veneer! I found this dental practice through google and on yelp and I love the place, the dentist and the staff are all really nice and welcoming. Clean and professional atmosphere, i love the 3 D scanning and the fact that they show you the scan, pretty cool. I went in for a regular check up with cleaning and then I went back for a crown and it was a very easy going and stress free environment. I was told by another dentist that I would need a root canal but doctor Yang was able to do a partial crown and I am very pleased with the result. I love the fact that they were able to put in the crown that same day instead of waiting for a week or two for the entire process to be executed. I will keep him as my personal and family dentist for many years to come, I highly recommend this practice and I say take a chance, you won't be disappointed! read more

A few things stood out about his practice, not only did he have great reviews but the pictures of the staff and short video brought me comfort. I have started a treatment plan and I am half way done. Dr. Yang was referred to me by a close friend. As he came highly recommended, I decided to see him even though I live 2 hours away. An area of teeth had been chronically bothering me for few months. He was kind enough to see me over a weekend, as it is hard for me to get to Marin during the week. He gave me a very detailed explanation of the issue. Also recommended treatment options to help rule out all possibilities that might be causing the pain. It was a gum issue and his hygienist Taren did an extremely thorough deep cleaning that was absolutely painless. She gave me home care tips, how to angle the Waterpik and flush the area to keep it clean. The issue resolved and I have had no pain ever for one year. In my dental experience and opinion, Hygienist Taren, of Dr. Yang's Mill Valley office, is by far the best in the business; personal with a more-than-pleasant personality who makes me smile. Filled with confidence, Taren goes that extra mile to make you feel at ease; and you know that when you leave, your teeth will "shine" throughout the day and will continue to do so even after your BBQ that evening and into the weeks that follow. I am very pleased with Dr. Yang. He always takes the time to explain what the issue(s) is (are), explain the options for treatment, give his recommendation, and when applicable, he lets the patient make the decision on the specific course of treatment. His office has a state-of-the-art 3D imaging machine which allows him to see the teeth from any angle. He also has a CEREC machine which allows him to construct same-day crowns, which eliminated the need for me to return for another appointment to insert/cement a crown. Dr. Yang and his staff are very personable, allowing me to feel at ease whenever I do find the need to visit the dentist's office. Dr. Yang's Dentistry was an excellent experience from start to finish. The reception answered my question and was courteous. Dr. Yang's assistant was very nice to work with and most of all, Dr. Yang shared everything about the procedure from start to finished. He explained what would take place using his large screen computer generated photos. It gave a clear understanding of the process. Dr. Yang shared how the crown would be made from the digital scans. He invited me to see the making of the crown from the scans to the actual making of the crown in the machine that carves the crown. My husband has been a patient of Dr. Yang for years and encouraged me to use Dr. Yang as my new dentist.
