Dr. Leite's office is clean and pleasant with nice views out the windows. There is high staff turnover, as my dental hygenist changed three during the two years I visited this office. For context, I was with Gabriella Garcia-Rojas's office for 20 years and left because her prices were getting too high, even though I trust her office and her staff and it was hard to leave. Dr. Leite came to me recommended by a close friend, and by and large, I found the transition easy to make. The problem arose when I had an issue with a bite that Dr. Leite's office must have done and unbeknownst to me, until I called my insurance provider, I realized the grinding of my tooth to fix the bite could have been covered by my insurance, but Dr. Leite chose another code that wasn't covered and almost $900 out of pocket. When I called the office to inquire, I was treated rudely and didn't get a call back right away, so I called again. Again, very rude. I asked why the fixing of my bite wasn't filed und insurance and the woman I spoke to said she would get back to me. I called a third time and this time, the woman was very rude and while she agreed to credit me for one tooth (not the other), even though I told her I was under the impression only one tooth was impacted by the bite, she did not clarify if that was true. Anyway, the next week I get a cancellation letter from Leite's office that they were dropping me. If you want to be overcharged, then I recommend this office. Very disappointed, as Dr. Leite himself never called me to problem solve, making me frustrated that I couldn't get the answers I needed and his receptionist was rude and not helpful in answering my questions. Clearly Dr. Leite is okay with is patients being treated rudely. He also doesn't accept any questions about billing/treatment when it is unclear. read more

Dr. Leite and I 'inherited' each other from Dorothy Slattery, from whom he bought the practice. I thought she was amazing and was very sorry to see her go into teaching dentistry fulltime (though my loss was her students' gain). Dr. Leite soon won me over with his cheerful outlook, sincerity, kindness, professionalism, and his willingness to explain everything in detail without irritation, haste or condescension. Crucially, he keeps up with new technology and practices and invests in the best equipment and training for himself and his staff. Dr Leite is the best dentist I have ever been to in my entire 48 years on the planet. Attention to detail, patient education, and a generally upbeat happy vibe in the office are standard. He really helped me understand that I have unusual bone loss in part of my jaw that is most likely genetic and steered me away from the internet clear aligner system I was using that caused one of my teeth to become loose. Let's look at the office and equipment first: - State of the art. - Images on screen. - Spotless. - Calming and beautiful. - Staff is sweet and uber competent. Now for the Practitioner: - Thorough... and I mean THOROUGH!!!! - Explains everything. Nothing is left a mystery. - Gets to know you. - Up to date with the latest procedures. - Deft touch. - Super skilled. My wife and I have routine cleanings, thorough exams (with pictures we could see and explanations of EVERYTHING that was going on in our mouths. We both had crowns. Dr. Leite was super concerned about the fit and got it just right. No detail was too small for him to work and rework till these crown fit like gloves. He had this unique device that fir into my mouth during work that literally blocked the flow of fluids and my tongue from the back of my throat. I kid thee not, I fell asleep while he was drilling and prepping my tooth for the crown. FELL ASLEEP!!!! That's a first for me. I have had some bad dentists in my life and some indifferent one's. This one is the single BEST one I have ever had. I plan to continue with him from now on. Dr. Leite is a delightful man and an extraordinary dentist. I've lived in several different cities, and hence, have received services from a good number of dentists. Dr. Leite is second to none, in my opinion. His office staff is friendly, efficient, and VERY competent. Going to the dentist is not much fun (especially if you need significant work- like a crown). But the atmosphere here makes it so much easier, and Dr. Leite is using up to the minute techniques and technology...so it's as good as it can be. I seem to spend a lot less time in the chair for things like fillings. He just works very skillfully and efficiently. Last, I had the misfortune of having a tooth go bad a few months ago, and I needed an emergency root canal on a Saturday morning! Even though Dr Leite was on the East Coast, he stayed in touch with me frequently, and as soon as it was clear that I neede a root canal, he made all the arrangements and had me in the office of a nearby colleague in just two hours. I've had quite a bit of work done on my teeth by Tony Leite over the past few years. Now that I'm on medicare, I was afraid I might have to find a dentist under a plan. Tony's office has created a program for folks like me so I am happy to be able to continue with him. I had a cleaning, exam and x-rays and he and his staff were incredibly gentle and patient. They take their time and check in with you constantly to make sure you are not in pain or discomfort. His office is state of the art and they have very new equipment that makes the visit fast and effective. When they take your xrays, they automatically appear on the computer screen next to your chair, so there's no waiting for an assistant to process and bring them in. Dr. Leite is a disappointment, he claims he only does oral exams with x-rays. I have not been seen for a couple of years by him, perhaps three years because full-mouth x-rays are done every three years or five years, if someone is not experiencing problems. Dr. Slattery was a wonderful dentist, and I was very hesitant when Dr. Leite took over the practice; as I had been fearful of dentistry for many years. No need to worry.
