During the course of my reconstruction dental procedures I saw at least 10 different Dentists. I want to give the highest recommendation to Dr. Andrew Baek at Greenbrae Dental Center. A lot of people have fear of going to the dentist. This office, which is headed by the amazing Lionel, who makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend for many reasons, affordability, extremely skilled prowess, great attention to details whether it is a crown, an implant an extraction or a bone graft you could be assured that this is the one office that will do everything efficiently and affordably. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Andrew and his staff at Greenbrae including Zohra and Lionel.

Ross Valley Dental is a great option if you are looking for a dentist in the Marin area…read more I have been going to Ross Valley Dental for almost two years now. I have always felt the hygienists have been great. and Dr. Kazak is always quick but personable. As others have said, I never felt like I was being sold on any procedures especially for stuff that I did not need. I do appreciate the complimentary fluroide solution that they apply after the cleaning to ensure tooth health. They also have been super accommodating for fitting me in even with a last minute change in my schedule. When you go for the first time, it may be a hard to find as it is a little tucked away and shares a parking lot with a church. However, I have not had any issues parking in front to the office. Overall, I would recommend checking out Ross Valley Dental if you are looking for a dentist in the Marin area.

Bridget seemed to have a weird change in appearance when I was in the office the beginning of the year. Bridget a couple of years ago was very mean to me and when filling out an invoice got the year wrong. She did fix it when pointed out to her. There is some bait and switch game going on with the appointments available online for booking. Two appointments I booked online were cancelled immediately and one when I called the office they gave some clearly a lie for the reason. For my recent appointment that was cancelled, I booked another online for an evening hygienist that was not Sam (Sam has a bad attitude problem) and I called the morning of the appointment and my hygienist appointment with the part-time hygienist was not available. When I told Bridget (office girl) I will be writing a review she offered me an appointment that next day, but that is not okay. When Lindsay and Bridget (office people) got me very angry two years ago, I wrote a review. And Dr. Kantor left a voice mail message and asked me to delete it and asked what I wanted in return for deleting it. I did delete it then, but it did not seem right to accept his offer for something in return, and I did not ask for anything in return. However, I will not be deleting this review. I give Dr. Kantor 4 stars and hygienist Sam 3 stars. Sam can do the job but seems to have severe attitude issues. The office seems to have a policy the first time you are seen or the first time with a hygienist to get good service but after the first time the service declines. And the office has a high turnover. If you book online, be aware of appointments listed that aren't available and complain about bad office staff. And please read other 1-, 2-, and 3-star reviews.

This review pertains to the office experience yesterday, not the abilities of the hygienist or dentist. I am seeking a local dentist in Marin County. Last week I received the most recent of many mailers for Kantor dental group, then called to make an appointment for a cleaning only. I discussed times and specifics for the appointment. I booked for 8 AM Sat. and was told the cleaning was 45 minutes. Yesterday I arrived on time and found no one was at the front desk. Waited for a few minutes. Had to call out and eventually a lady who came out, did not greet me or welcome me and said that the office staff had not arrived! (In our phone call a day before, I had clearly stated to Bridget, the nice office manager ahead of time that I was only booking the cleaning, -- no exam and that I was willing to pay with a check to receive they offered cleaning discount for $177.). On the phone she tried to upsell me a plan that I was not interested in and declined. After being directed to the room, I waited for hygienist who didn't come. Then a nice dentist Dr. Gutierrez came out and said he was there to examine me, and I said I had clearly stated no exam today I can only afford the cleaning. I then asked how much the exam! I reiterated that I was not yet booking an exam. The dentist said he didn't know how much it was went away and came back and said it would be $89 for 15 minutes. He asked if I had any recent x-rays and I said I do but will obtain them before booking. an exam l. I then waited for the hygienist who still didn't come. It is now over 30 minutes after my appointment. I got up and went to the front desk and inform the receptionist that it was too late to continue to wait for a hygienist when my appointment was at 8 AM, which was intentionally scheduled due to other obligations. I also asked her why the dentist came in when I had already discussed that I was only there for the cleaning. She looked in her computer at notes and said that the exam would be free. I said I wasn't informed of that but now it's 8:40 and I'm going to have to leave. The hygienist was busy working with another patient so apparently they double booked my appointment time. The sad thing about this whole thing was I was really looking for to try out a new local dentist. But the disorganization and bad first impression maybe question whether I should go back to this practice.

About a year and half ago my dentist moved out of state, so I was in need of a new dentist.. I had been putting it off because the thought of sitting in another dental chair gives me anxiety due to some of the traumatic experiences I've endured over the years. After doing extensive research, I came across the Marin Advanced Dental Care office. Made my first appointment a few months back and I was very happy with the hygienist's (Kim) work. She was detailed with her cleaning, and I felt like I was in the hands of someone who cared. Also, I needed a crown and some other dental work so I saw Dr. Smida for the first time. He had a calm and caring demeanor to start which was nice. His assistant- Katie was knowledgeable and friendly as well. Now that I have received his work on my teeth, I am very satisfied. My front tooth needed repair and now looks and feels better than ever and my new crown fits perfectly. It's nice to find a specialist who takes their job seriously - presenting fine work and has a nice personality to match. Very pleased with this entire office.
