She is not only fashion forward, in both optical and clothing style but is always happy to service her products. Rhonda goes the extra mile for her customers, I have experienced her calling literally all over the globe to track down a particular pair of Chanel Sunglasses. She was provided better customer service than Holts or the Chanel store. Don't let the aesthetic of the store scare you away from this neighbourhood gem. I have been buying my glasses and sunglasses here for years. While I've never used a physical coupon there, I've never had to. They seem to always have amazing sales on. Not to mention she is great at helping with the insurance paperwork. I booked my appointment online (nice and convenient!), and I arrived a few minutes early to fill out paperwork, provided by the friendly sales staff. The doctor arrived promptly - I forget her name but she was a young woman - and was very friendly, professional and just overall gave an excellent eye exam. She explained exactly what she was doing and why, and what to expect. The appointment lasted maybe twenty minutes and she made some recommendations for add ons to my glasses, such as blue light screening. She was never pushy in any of her suggestions, and neither was the sales staff. Only complaint I have is that I was told I'd receive my receipt through email within 30 minutes, which I have yet to receive 3 days later. I've given them a call and will drop by to try and sort it out, but overall, this location impressed me with their customer service and their lovely doctor!

If you don't require high power lens like I do, you can probably get a pair for around or under $100. Mine usually cost less the $200 with the thinnest lens because of my high pescription. The glasses take a few days to make. Once they have taken your measurement and you have selected your glasses. They ask you for a deposit and call in a few says to a week to pickup your glasses.

The owner said that cheap eyeglasses were like that. He could not do anything. The price per pair of eyeglasses was close to $200. I bought a pair of eyeglasses by less than $ 100 three years ago in another store. There was no crack between lenses and frame. I never see this kind of crack between lenses and frames in other eyeglasses.

I've visited the store twice in the past year with damage and/or adjustments required to both of my frames. Today, on my most recent visit, I had a badly twisted arm on my wire frames. Katherine quickly and efficiently assessed the damage, explained the risk in the bending required to fix the arm and with my consent, fixed the damaged arm - free of charge. All of my adjustments and repairs have been free of charge. I now think of Phila first when I'm in need of lenses or repair and in particular, Katherine, who consistently offers excellent customer service. Good quality lenses are expensive - no doubt. The value for me is in the thoughtful aftercare I receive from Phila: Local, knowledgeable, kind & consistent.
