Never come here. The doctors don't take insurance that Lensecrafters accepts and they expect you to pay for the doctor out of pocket. That is $150; save yourself money and go somewhere else. Went in today to have an eye exam. That examination has been scheduled for at least six weeks. First of all I needed to use the restroom, I am severely disabled with mobility problems. I had to walk to the other end of the mall to find a restroom. When I returned, I was soaking wet from sweat, with cold air conditioning blowing on me while I was waiting, I thought I was gonna freeze to death. Will probably develop a cold because of this. After we sat there for a while and filled out the forms the receptionist What did the form and said that the doctor could not see us today because I had diabetes and mobility problems. She recommended a place right across from them, and they couldn't see me today either. I searched on America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses- they could not see me either. Seriously 5-star service. Visited this location last week with my husband to use our benefits. I loved my experience. We were immediately greeted by one of the Sales Rep and she took care of us. The Rep was not pushing and not trying to upsell us, like other locations previously did. The store was very busy that day and another new customer walked-in. My Rep immediately called someone from the back of the store to go and greet the newcomers. Honestly this place is amazing and I will only go back there. Our daughter's glasses weren't fitting properly on her face and we stopped by on a whim to see what could possibly be done about them. What a great experience at LensCrafters There was a bit of a wait but it's all good. I got to work with Debi and she is awesome at customer service and very nice. I had already purchased my frames at another location but they didn't have the Dr office to get a prescription. So I came here where they have the dr office right next door, and Dr Pham is great. After insurance covers what it covers I was able to order the lenses for both my glasses and sunglasses, the sun glasses should take about 2 hours, as I write this. The regular glasses will take a full 7 days so that's unfortunate but understandable. Great location here inside the Manassas mall easy to get to and lots of selection with all the name brands like Oakley and ray van so for all your eyewear needs stop by and hopefully you get Debi also read more

I visited the Optometrist next door to LensCrafters and was pleased with the service. Dr. Bae was very consultative and discussed contact lens options that work best for me. Very disappointed with the doctor's office front desk, there are three girls (ALWAYS TALKING) with the minimal intention to help you out, this is my second time visiting the doctor and it's the same every time, I called letting them know that I was running 5 minutes late and they tried to reschedule my appointment and once I showed up they were rude and I didn't have the opportunity to see the doctor, I will never come back here due to this front desk BAD service. read more

Good The last time we got glasses, we went to one of those places inside a Walmart. Never again. This place might be a little pricier, but you get what you pay for. If you want some cheap glasses that will break at the slightest drop, then have at it. I'm sticking with this place. They assemble most of the glasses on-site. They have some dudes walking around in the back wearing those long white coats that your doctor wears. They will have most orders ready in an hour. That's pretty quick if you ask me. I got some sunglasses. The frames are sturdy. They're guaranteed for a year, but you can purchase an extra warranty period if you want which I don't recommend unless you're extremely clumsy. They also accept many insurance policies. read more

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because this location is a bit of a drive for me. I still want to give 5 stars though. These guys are out of sight! They are on point and have some serious customer service skills. Located inside the Manassas Mall on Sudley Rd. I believe the quickest entrance is through Macy's. take a left into the corridor with Trends and Hot Topic. I walked in and filled out my chart as I was a "new patient". I knew I had insurance but couldn't remember what it was for the life of me. William at the C/S front desk did not stop until he found not only my insurence providor but the best way to use them to get more for my money! He stated this information rather, matter of factly, and as this was what he was going to do. I loved it. I waited, as a walk in and new patient, perhaps 20 min or so, maybe 30 and Dr. Pham took me in and started evaluating my eyesight. He was very patient. Not hurried at all! He listened to me. He was very clear when advising me of his findings and offered options when choosing products. Dr. Vu made a friendly appearance as well as we were wrapping up my visit. Dr. Pham scheduled me in again next week, as a follow up with how my eyes are feeling with the new contacts and any concerns or adjustments to the prescription I may have. Nice! Only then, will we confirm an order. Very happy with these guys. (BTW), Great tip here: When going to the local options in my town, no one had a pinch of time for me or offered to look up my insurance information. I made an apt with Doctors of Optometry that is right next to LensCrafters on the same day. I walked in to my apt 4:30pm and walked out with glasses at 6:30pm. The doctors office was great and the staff very nice and professional. The office was clean . The doctor was very attentive to my eye correction needs. I felt he understood what I needed and cared. The staff at the LensCrafters where very nice and helpful. They helped me pick out glasses and had my glasses ready in an hour as promised. read more

I have been getting my glasses at LensCrafters for decades, and am always happy with their frames (increasingly durable and lightweight) and lenses. They have this down to a science. The Manassas store is particularly well-run - to include the associated optometrist, who is very capable and friendly and good at explaining things. The salesperson who put my glasses order together was great also - personable, knowledgable, and efficient. And at the end of the day I know these babies will help me see better, and stay on my head with minimal adjustment ever necessary. Again, LensCrafters has this down to a science and this morning's eye appointment and glasses purchase (which took less than 45 minutes combined) was a pleasurable experience. read more

Warning: If you use United Healthcare as your vision insurance provider, make sure this LensCrafters is an in-network provider! As of 11/2017, they are not. They will tell you that they do not submit claims to UHC and that you need to submit the form yourself but, they won't tell you that the form they will hand you is an out-of-network claim form. When you ask for the form prior to submitting your order, they'll tell you that they need to print up more forms and ask you if it is OK to receive the form when you pick up the glasses. ASK IF THEY ARE IN NETWORK FIRST! Better yet, call UHC to find out which eyeglass shops near you are in network. Unfortunately, UHC only lists in-network eye doctors, not eyeglass shops, on their website. read more

The doctors of Optometry next door were really accommodating. I had an exam 6 months before with a very courteous doctor there, but failed to buy my prescription lenses until 6 months later. I finally ordered my lenses and they gave me another trial pair. They also gave me a solution to help extend the life of my lenses by eliminating protein build ups. Thank you to the young man at the front desk who went over my insurance thoroughly to make sure that I would still have the money I needed for my next exam, even though I had to forfeit last years. I would give this place five starts if it wasn't for some of the receptionist's ugly attitude. I have been here two or three times, location is very convenient, inside Manassas Mall. Came in last time as a walk-in and got an appointment for same day. Came back for appointment. Jessica (the receptionist) must had been tired or simply did not want to be there. She picked at her nails while performing my daughter's initial evaluation, disgusting, never said "please" or "thank you" never smiled, never showed any hint of customer care skills. Horrible attitude. Then got called in by wonderful ophthalmologist who was kind and patient with my kid, she did not rushed us out and explained findings to me. When we went back to front desk the receptionist showed the same condescending attitude to the ophthalmologist (Asian lady). Funny thing. I keep going here for the ophthalmologists who have always been great, then I can get glasses next door and pick up in an hour. read more
