THE BEST CAT GROOMER EVER!!! I've never been so happy with a grooming service before - I've been at many many many places before from LA to NYC to New England... I have never met a groomer like Len who was able to demat the cat completely (I have a super matted long hair Persian cat) without having to give him a lion cut, and finish wash and dry all within 1 hour!!! I can't believe it's only $50 also... In the past, I always get charged $150+ and they take 3 hours - they always end up giving him an ugly lion cut. I even had places (Petco of course) that hurt him when trying to demat - the razor cut into my cat's skin! Len truly BLEW MY MIND!!! I didn't even know this can be so easy and well done given all the poor previous experience and limited grooming options for cats. Absolutely the BEST!!!! We have a Maine coon mix & her fur had gotten extremely matted. First time we took her to the vet, but they charged all kinds of things (lab work, tests, ECT). Took her to see Len, and she did amazing! She's so much happier now & even gained some weight now that she feels better. Will most definitely have her grinned here again when needed. read more

I am so upset after leaving that place today. The only reason I drive 45 minutes to go to lens is because they have my dog in and out in under an hour. I liked not having to think about my dog in a cage all day. I dropped Lexi off at 9:30 AM. The owner said she would be ready in two hours. I explained to him that I live far away and I couldn't drive home and he said sorry it will still be two hours. So I ran some errands I waited around and then went back at 11:30. He hadn't even started cutting her yet at all. A call would've been nice to let me know he was running behind. I took my dog... he still had the nerve to charge $25 for giving her a bath. I paid it because I didn't want to cause a scene. He was arrogant and completely wasted my morning. Thanks for nothing. Poor Len... his name shouldn't be attached to this business anymore. read more

This was my first time at Lens Grooming. I used to go to a place at the Taunton Galleria Mall that went up in price every time I went there. Finally, at $80.00 to ONLY shave my cat, I never went back. I immediately liked Len, not only was he fast, and efficient, but he bathed, groomed, clean the ears, and clipped the claws of my cat, all for $45.00, and in 20 minutes mind you. My cat look like a million, and seem to calm afterwards. I'll be going back and telling on my friends! The only thing to remember here is that they do not take bank cards or credit cards, only cash and check. read more

I used Lens for years when I lived in town. I brought my rescue puppy there , from 30 mins away, with my sons new puppy for a TRIM. Specified not to shave them. The rescue enjoys brushing and bonding with us. First at pick up they tried to give us the wrong dog. Both dogs visibly shaken and subdued. On the ride home discovered my poor rescue pup bleeding from the throat. They said NOTHING. He is still invisible pain two days later. Appears traumatized. Not to mention both dogs were shaved ( unevenly) over their whole body. To my understanding Len is no longer grooming, it was a younger person. I now have to take the poor thing to the vet to see if there is other damage because he doesn't appear to be comfortable swallowing. Needless to say NEVER again. read more

Absolutely wonderful groomer! Finding a groomer who happily takes cats is no easy feat, but I luckily happened upon Len after a recommendation from a vet. He quickly took my very matted kitty in and cleaned her up in no time at all! Not a fancy salon, but a nice, caring owner who will make your precious pet look good for very reasonable pricing. I took my 2 Ragdoll cats to Len last week for their very first grooming -- and they came out relaxed and looking great! I was concerned that the experience would stress them out, but it was the reverse. They meowed loudly all the way to Len's -- but on the way home after their grooming -- they were relaxed and I didn't hear a peep out of them. They had a bath, blow-dry, brush out (I think they lost a pound of Fluff each!!), and trim. I'll definitely be bringing them back every few months. Highly recommend his services! read more

I've brought my Golden's here for years. I always liked this groomer. Brought my 10 month old Golden in to be groomed Last week. He was there for 2 hours and all he got was a bath and blow dry. Not a single hair was trimmed. The pads of his feet weren't even trimmed. Paid $50 for him to get a bath! I could have done that myself. Won't be returning. read more

I tried Len's grooming based on his great reviews and all of the positive feedback he had received. My pup (Addison) is my pride and joy and means everything to me. Her grooming came out fabulous and she looked refreshed, freshly bathed and beautiful. Addison was groomed in a very quick time frame which makes it great and convenient. However, I was hesitant leaving Addison when her updated vaccinations were not required nor her rabies certificate were asked for or needed when offered. All places I have brought Addison to previously, required updated vaccinations and rabies certificate; especially if visiting for the first time. Another thing that stunned me was the name of my dog was never asked, and neither was mine. It felt odd to me and very impersonal but yet all staff including Len were very polite and kind. The work done and timely manner and price were fantastic but the safety risk of having other dogs possibly not up to date on vaccines or rabies is unsettling for me. read more

I took my elderly mini-sheltie to be groomed there and when asked if we wanted him shaved we said no as shelties are never supposed to be shaved. Well they shaved him!!!!! He is now at risk for getting a sunburn (we called the vet.). When I called to let her know how harmful it is to shave a sheltie, she claimed he was matted, which he wasn't as he is brushed regularly. She then said well don't come back and hung up!!! Definitely no apology, no care or concern, nothing. Not professional at all!!! Do not use Len's grooming!!! read more

I have been coming here for about three years and everyone has always been good with dogs. Two of my dogs are not always the most friendly but when I bring them here they are always good for whoever cuts their fur. I like that I can wait here for them and watch them get their fur cut. read more

He is like a dog whisperer, normally my dog is not the best at the groomers but he walks right up to Len and doesn't even look back at me. He never does that he has severe separation anxiety but for some reason the very I first time I took him he went right with Len nobody else but he'll go right with len it's amazing and his prices are phenomenal. We took our Portuguese Podengo to Len's last week for nail trimming. We had tried other groomers but our dog hates getting her nails trimmed and it never worked out well, and we are too nervous to do it ourselves. Len was recommended to us by an experienced dog trainer at the Silver City Canine Training center in Taunton, and we are so happy with the service at Len's. He confidently trimmed her nails, with no appointment needed and we were done within minutes, and the price was excellent. Our dog was a bit nervous at first, but she left there so happy. I brought my dog to Len's for the first time today and am SO pleased. Len is very sweet and he did a beautiful job; he gave my dog exactly the cut I wanted. He's also very inexpensive compared to other groomers and doesn't even charge extra for nail grinding. Lastly, and very importantly, he's fast; he doesn't like to keep the dogs and cats hanging around the shop for hours waiting for their turn like I've found other grooming salons to do, as that's very stressful for our pets, and I really appreciate that.
